This is the BEST fast food ever! The people who work there are nice (from my experience) and get you your food on time whether you're eating inside or to go. If you eat inside during rush hour it can be crowded, but if you come when it's not that busy, it's less crowded and noisy. The food is good and tastes real unlike other fast food businesses. One time I did find hair in my burger, though.... other than that this place is pretty great! read more

Having eaten at dozens of Culver's stores across the state, this is one of the best. Which was not what my first impression would've told me given this store is attached to a gas station. The counter staff was super friendly and I went ahead and ordered the 3-piece cod dinner. Cod ain't cheap anymore, and if this isn't done right I might leave disappointed. And it takes more time to prepare than the regular burger. So I was a little surprised and maybe bracing for sadness when the food came out within 5 minutes. Can't be fresh, I thought. Had to have been under a lamp. Well, I'm delighted to report I was wrong. Everything was piping hot just out of the fryer! The fish, the fries, the wife's perfectly executed single deluxe with onion rings. It was all perfect. When done right, Culver's fish fry is on par with the best anywhere. Hi, this place is where taste meets sweetness, beef meets mouth and tongue, cheese gets happy, and root beer is crafty, and the frozen custard melts your heart; fall in love with a butter burger and fries ain't a surprise that they are super and delicious, now if they'd just make some meatless burgers, add some salads, and great fresh vegetables and mash potatoes, than the love might last forever. Come on Culver's I am broke and disabled and wrote Craig just to get a Culver's in Florida; they built a few there, show me some love. The food at culvers is good. My favorite is the pot roast the service sometimes slacking because they seem to be overwhelmed with customers but it's a great place to sit down and eat the ambience. There is very welcoming and even if they get so busy that you feel like you're being neglected they make sure that you don't feel that way before you leave and the price is very negotiable or acceptable. I've been to this Culvers a number of times, probably 6 over the past 6 months, and have found the people to be friendly, courteous and fairly conscientious. Location: East on 54 a few blocks from the 10/54 intersection on the right. Parking: a shared parking with a convenience/gas station and a cellular phone store. Parking was not an issue. Just be careful on the left as you enter. There are cars awaiting their drive through orders and ready to take off. Atmosphere: counter is to the left with the soda machines and condiments. booth area is to the right. You place your order, pay and get a numbered stand and the order is brought to you. On the weekend around 5pm and thereafter, families from local sporting events stop by, which for me created a great family atmosphere. Food: put your calorie counter away for this meal. they are known for their frozen custard and large burgers. Add on to that a side of fries, onion rings, or as I've sometimes succumbed to, an order of cheese curds, and you'll need to do a few miles of walking it off. The burgers are good. The custard is great. The cheese curds are deep fried, crispy and a good amount. All in all, a meal worth having once a week or two. The frozen custard I've gotten here has never disappointed. It's been very good. The Culvers down in Tampa is one of 5 places to go for my granddaughter. They also have regular and diet root beer. Service: the counter person was courteous and offered suggestions. The meal was brought to our booth within 7 minutes. I have not had any issues with them over this time period. My mother got an oreo shake here, and when she got near the bottom, all you could see was about two inches of cookie and frosting gloop. It was pretty gross, but all the manager said was, "Welp, that's how we make 'em!" I came here with my kids and ordered a sundae with bananas and pecans on it. The girl who made it held onto that peeled banana (no gloves, no hand washing first) as she cut it into my sundae. Then she dropped all the pecans onto a counter that was visibly really dirty, then swept them off the counter, with her bare hand, into my sundae. I was really grossed out, and I asked her why she did that. She got mad at me, and replied that the counter was clean. In my opinion, if the people in back have to wear gloves to touch my food, so should she. She spent the rest of the time I was there cleaning up the dining room and glaring at me. I did email Culvers, and the manager contacted me and asked for my address so they could send me some free coupons for a banana split or something. But I'm not really interested in having another sundae prepared by someone's dirty bare hands. There are a bunch of ice cream places in Waupaca--like Scooper's. Try one of those instead. They're really polite, and they don't put their fingers in or on your food. read more

Waupaca Culvers has a Wednesday night all you can eat chicken dinner. It is ok, but too much deep fried chicken kind of makes your guts ache. Other menu items are similar to other Culver Restaurants. Worth a try. read more

i usually don't have an issue with culver's, and they always have nice service however today, my total was 5.26 and i gave them 7 because she was acting like she was in a rush. she then proceeded to return my money and say "your total was 5.26 and you gave me 7." then rolled her eyes. like yes you acted as though i was wasting your time by getting me money out. read more

Went through the drive and ordered a turtle concrete mixer. It was so running I needed a straw. The worst thing I have ever tasted. This is not the first time I have gotten this type of service. I have decided I will not go there anymore. read more
