OK so...why am I reviewing a local chain restaurant? Well, I honestly go here way too often since I live SO close, but lately something has been amiss! The food is exactly as you expect. Greasy delicious butter burgers (get the deluxe for at least some semblance of vegetables), good custard / shakes / malts, the BUFFALO CHICKEN TENDERS, etc. Overall I am normally somewhat disappointed by their flavor of the days - they are mostly something you could create on your own with their available mix ins with a chocolate or vanilla base. I want that flavor to be more special, you know? The custard is not as good as one of the more "local" places around, but really it is so (some might say TOO) convenient. Lately though, the service has been sooooo slow at this location. I don't know if they are just short staffed or what, but around dinner time you can expect a 30-45 min wait for your food. I have tried to get around this by preordering online, which seems to help. But be wary if you are ordering during prime time without that. read more

My wife and I were here on Tuesday the 16th. Positives: Food was good as usual Needs Improvement: Service was incredibly slow...took just over 22 minutes to get our (2) burgers and fries and neither was special ordered in any way. Not just our order either, as we could look around the dining area and there were 6 other tables with folks waiting for their food....essentially nobody in the dining area had food, and a long period went by with nobody coming out to/delivering any food to the dining area. One of the staff spent some time chatting with one of the guests....tables not well cleaned either. When our food was finally delivered the staff member just plopped the tray on our table and walked off - no "thanks for waiting" or "sorry for the wait" or even "here you go"....really odd. Perhaps an off day for this restaurant but this was by a large measure the worst service we have ever had at any Culver's. read more

Let's be clear. You really should not be eating Culver's more than a couple times a week at most. If you are make good decisions like trying their excellent Pecan Salad with grilled chicken. If you are there for a treat their burgers and chicken sandwiches are excellent. Their custard is also a favorite. This is a Wisconsin chain so you likely know already what you are getting. Great food, TERRIBLE service always, not given enough food, order not correct, I go here often because it's the only culver's within the area and it consistently falls short 99% of the time I'm actually shocked when something is correct the staff is AWFUL. While I normally love Culver's, this location struggles. I consistently wait 25-30 minutes for my food, items are forgotten, and there is clear disorganization. Today, after waiting 25 minutes in line outside, my food arrived. Most of the items were no longer warm, the grilled cheese we ordered was cold and half-cooked, and we were missing an order of fries. When I went inside to get them, there was another customer who had been ahead of me and had been waiting well over 30 minutes. He still did not have his food, but after entering the restaurant it appeared that his order had been sitting out. The ice cream he ordered was completely melted and his food was cold. While I understand staffing issues, and am completely fine waiting, this location had close to 10 employees all inside, but it seemed that many of them were confused and there was no consistent work order flow. I'll definitely continue to eat at Culver's, but I will avoid this location until changes are made and I would suggest the same to others if they want a positive experience. By all means, come here to regularly do a to go order for 3 concrete mixers that arrive nice and melted in 25 minutes. Seems every time I come to this location the ice cream is melted. They take way too long for this to be called fast food read more

To my knowledge this was my first visit to a Culvers. I never eat burgers and rarely eat chicken sandwiches. So the cod was my selection. My husband isnt weird about meat so he got their double cheeseburger. We both liked our sandwiches. We shared a fry but wish we had shared onion rings. We shared a salted caramel shake. It was ok not as good as udf. We wanted something fast as we were traveling and had 10 hour drive today. Would have given a 5 but the place was full of some of the most loud children . They were throwing food and a fit. Parents were there but unprepared for dealing with their spawn. I like kids but the shrill screams made it a less than delightful dining experience. Now i know Culver's cant discipline these brats or parents who were useless but it effected our satisfaction. read more

As a member of the Port Washington swim team I have ate at many Culver's around the world and this is by the worst one I have been too. SUE was very rude and she took my tray which had my ranch and then charged me for another ranch, I think it's about time for sue to retire and move on with her life. Sue constantly spelled names wrong as well, even when we spelt it out for them. Joe Rico on the other hand deserves sue's job. He was very fast taking orders, very respectful and always had a smile on his face. read more

On 3-25-2019 I write this review: "Two and a half years since I went to this Culver's. Two and a half years since I complained that they just cannot get the order right. Finally, I bought a house just down the block from them, and I gave in to the temptation to see if they improved. First time back, they got the order right. Second time back, THEY SCREWED UP THE ORDER AGAIN! That's a fifty percent failure rate after I refused to eat there for two and a half years. Let's see if TEN MORE years of not eating there gives them the chance to actually PUT WHAT THE CUSTOMER ORDERED INTO THE BAG. Sheesh." Yesterday, I decided to give them another chance. Holy cow how do you manage to be SO WRONG SO MANY TIMES??? This time my order was simple: Cod sandwich, fries, and chicken tenders. AND THEY MANAGED TO ONLY GET 2/3 OF THE ORDER INTO THE BAG. They charged me for everything, of course, but couldn't get the tenders in the bag. What the heck is wrong with this place that they can't take an order for THREE SIMPLE THINGS on their menu, and make them, and then put them into the bag? Just lock the doors and give up, Culver's. They charged us for two large meals when we only ordered one. We waited 30!! Yes 30! Minutes to get a bunch of food we didn't order. And no apologies for the wait. And no acknowledgment of the problems. We told the kid we didn't order this and he just brought it inside to be thrown out. Didn't try and figure out what happened or how to fix it. Did I accidentally go to McDonald's? I've eaten at Culver's easily more than 100 times and I have consistently always had a good experience and a good meal. Can't recall ever getting a wrong order either. Tonight a simple error was made with our order, where I ordered a butterburger with cheese with ketchup only. Got home (4 minute drive) to find a cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce and bacon. Getting the order wrong isn't the issue - but how it tasted was unlike any experience I've had at Culver's. The meat was dry, the bun texture was inconsistent, the cheese seemed stale, the bacon was rubbery. No other way to put it than I thought I had ordered food from McDonald's by mistake. read more

Every single Culver's I've been to has been absolutely perfect. The staff is always friendly, the restaurant is constantly well-kept and clean. The food is to die for, you have to get the cheese curds!!! I've almost tried every single item on the menu and I will tell you you will not be disappointed with anything you choose. read more

Solid Culver's service. I tried to eat healthier by ordering a Crispy Chicken Sandwich Basket (I said I TRIED, okay?). Good stuff, was asked if I wanted the works and so forth by the young man at the counter, all I had to do was answer a bunch of yes or no questions. I didn't have to speak up about anything, this kid was on the ball! And it was healthier, sorta, I went with fries instead of onion rings or fried cheese curds, so don't judge me. Maybe just a touch slower than other recent visits to Culver's, but maybe it was because 'tried' to eat healthier. And no, I did not see Dustin Diamond, so no brush with fame on this day. read more

Brought my girlfriend up from Texas to visit my Family in Wisconsin. It was her first time at Culver's, and she was blown away. The Team Trainer Adam took our order, gave us lots of options and was very thorough, I felt like he was our server at some fancy restaurant. His service was phenomenal and even came up and checked on us throughout our meal. On top of the amazing service the food was fast and phenomenal, she comes from Texas and Whataburger, but she prefers Culver's now. Thank you for the great time, right as you were closing too. I'm grading on a curve now but Culvers is an interesting fast food experience. The hamburgers are ok but the entree's are really decent. The Fried shrimp and pot roast dinners are respectable. The wide selection means everyone in your family should be able to find something they like. read more

Curb side doesn't mean you won't have to wait for everyone else or that it will be correct. Ordered a chicken sandwich with no pickles no tomatoes and added mayo. What I got was a chicken sandwich with pickles and tomatoes and no mayo. Hum... it gets better ordered on line for curb side so I wouldn't have to wait. We had a busy schedule tonight and needed something quick and easy. We'll I placed the order for 5:15 which was 30 mins ahead of time. Left for Culver's and pulled up right at 5:15 then hit thr little I'm here button. Then I waited and waited. In fact people that pulled up to the drive thru after I got there, got there food and left before me. So lesson learned curb side doesn'tean fast. Not sure why I'm selecting a time if I'm still going to wait more than 10 min from the time selected and inline doesnt doesn't mean they will get it correct. So much for thinking it was a problem in the past with the drive thru speaker.... it actually must be how it reads out on the monitor for the people cooking it. Not sure, since my receipt was correct. Oh amd the side of cheese sause use a smaller container if your only going to fill it a 1/3 of the way up. You will watch while they prepare your food only to Elgin's that they let it sit and get cold because no one bothered to prepare the ice cream as they were standing around gossiping. Beware, they have a scam going on at this store. If you call to complain about a wrong order, they DON'T want you to come back but insist on mailing you coupons to correct the problem. The manager will tell you to be patient because they mail them out in bulk once a week. However, 4 weeks later, still no coupons. They figure most people will forget about their promise and the manager is able to report to upper management that they don't have any complaints and therefore don't need to give out any coupons. Either that, or he's stealing them. read more

This place. Is amazing. If you've never been to Wisconsin, you have to stop at this place. We came in with a large group of about 25 people and it was nothing but awesome service from the moment we walked in. If I had to choose any fast food chain, it'd be Culver's. Their service was top notch - respected, cared for and welcomed to accommodate a group of our size. Service was hands down a 5. The food... wow. So fresh for a fast food chain. The chicken tenders were actually huge pieces of chicken breast that you could actually see and taste the meat. Crinkle cut fries were some of the best I've ever had. I was persuaded to try the custard.. great decision. I'd recommend just the kid size portion which is one scoop - anything bigger would've been too much food. I got the flavor of the day which was a chocolate and vanilla mix with chocolate chip cookie dough... again, awesome. Oh, and I tried someone's cheese curds... pretty good. I think the cheese base was cheddar cheese. All in all, I'll forever be a Culver's supporter. read more

I order a kids meal and it came with the token and the free scoop already ripped off by a worker named Loden. i went to ask why and if i could get my custard and she refused to give it to me. i waited for 10 minuets asking for it and she would not give it. eventually another worker came over and nicely gave me my free scoop but never my token from the kids meal. i was very dissapointed and angry with this culver's. read more

We've been to this Culver's many times over the last 10 years. Never once have we had a bad experience. But then, we don't cry when our food arrives 12 seconds after we think it should. This is my go-to culver's and the best in the area. The staff is always very kind and knows how to do their job very well. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars; they always forget something whether its ranch or they give me fries instead of cheese curds. Where to start... culvers is a remarkable place. Good customs are willing to pay 10 dollars for a single burger, and yet they still dont have good customer service. Me n the boys walked in with 1 expectation... to get a concrete mixer. We walk in and see the frustration on the customers faces. We ordered and waited, and waited and waited and waited. All I wanted was my strawberry concrete mixer. I watched as the person making my mixer put her hands with gloves on her head and itched her head. Nasty. I thought "ok I'll let that slide" which is a lot of grace and patience from me. Then I watch as my concrete mixer melted away, and the couple making them flirted. The guy next to me who ordered 10 minutes before me was done with it all by the look in his eyes. We had been waiting for 30 minutes and he at least 40. Everyone was kinda just shooting the breeze behind the counter like what the heck. And there was just us and the one other dude. The workers were not busy. Not tryna be a Karen or anything, I JUST WANT MY ICE CREAM. Then we got our food before the guy who was waiting longer than us! We got a "free value basket meal" card but I wasn't looking for that I just wanted icecream.
