Well, when in Florida go to Culver's. Check. Unfortunately it was only drive through that is why I gave it 4 stars. Just ordered the classic burger with fries. So good. But my drink choice was a room beer float you have to get some ice cream when at Culver's. Our wait to order was not too bad...only 2 cars in front of us. But we had to wait for our food maybe about 10 minutes. It was worth the wait. Food was made fresh. When we left the line was out of gge parking lot. This was around 830 night. drive thru girl was dumber than rocks. i order a chicken basket with cheese sauce on the side. she didn't understand what "plain" meant.... didn't get my cheese sauce, and did not inform me that its new chicken sandwich day. so i wasn't aware of my price and didn't realize there was no cheese sauce. she left people at the window for food... that's why you have stickers with numbers!! we waited almost 10 mins for 2 items ( no cheese sauce) so had to pull around again, paid over $1 for half ass empty cheese sauce. NO BAG too btw,.. unsanitary and managers should have been on her ass for that OH and there was literal plastic or tape in my pretzel box... wtf. at least the food was decent. read more

Clean. Stickers on the floor for social distancing. Friendly greetings as we entered the restaurant from friendly staff. All were wearing masks, but we knew they were smiling. We could see it in their eyes. When we ordered, we forgot to ask for combo, but cashier made it a combo so he could save us money! Hand sanitizer was at the counter (pump) and cashier wore gloves. Our food was delivered hot, good and quickly by a friendly staff member wearing a mask and gloves. We sat in a booth, away from others. All condiments and napkins are delivered now. The soda machine is still self service. Drive through was busy. Watched cars lined up and saw drivers receiving their orders curbside. Good experience in every way. read more

Just picked up a chocolate concrete at the drive-through for my wife at home. Lots of confusion as to what I ordered. They wanted me to tell them if I wanted it mixed. Said I wanted no mix in the concrete. Just plain chocolate would be fine. I got home and looked at it and saw that it had some white stuff in it along with chocolate syrup. You need to get your act together and give the customer what they're asking for and make sure you were employees are Trained properly. read more

From the moment I hit the drive-through, the young lady taking my order was super professional, asking all the right questions. My order was spot-on when I got to the window, where she greeted me with a big smile and friendly vibe. I forgot to ask for an ice water earlier, but she was so kind and quick to help. Then, while I waited in my black compact SUV around 5:03 PM, another young lady brought my food--smiling, complimenting my shirt, and just as professional. I left so happy! Stopped for a quick lunch wife ordered a Culver's Deluxe Single. The flavor was there but the sandwich was at a proper temperature her issue was the cheese wasn't melted and was directly on top of the meat patty ! I enjoyed a double bacon deluxe which was fresh hot and delicious. Hot but not crispy Fries and a drink completed the order. The food is always good, the service at the drive thru, not so much! Almost every time in the afternoon/night, we get attitude at the window. This time we were ordering, the teenage girl at the window kept saying "yeah" after everything we ordered! They don't believe in normal decent customer service anymore, at their customer service job? I've never heard anyone say yeah repeatedly with an attitude at a restaurant before for absolutely no reason. Really hope they get it together soon. read more

Our custard was really good! But when we got it we got it wrong we ordered flavor of the day in a Wafle CONE and then they brought it to us in a dish! A DISH !! And we told them about it and they never changed it my husband was the one who ordered it and then said he really wanted it in a cone and he left it please next time listen to your customers!!! read more

Love food, especially their pot roast sandwiches. I went to Culver's on Locanto in Beverly Hills FL & I ordered a double butter burger with american cheese w/grilled onions & french fries. When I got home I looked at the sandwich & it was smashed like somebody had stepped on it, so I took it back & they prepared me another one right away & fries. You can count on Culver's At least we were able to count on Culver's as a good food stop along our path. Located off of I-75 at Kings Hwy, it was a convenient stop for dinner. My choice was their Culver's Bacon Deluxe, a delicious juicy double cheeseburger with bacon. Very tasty. The staff we encountered was all friendly and when needed, helpful. The place was busy but they had multiple registers open. They give you a number and track you down to bring you your food when it is ready, which didn't take long at all. I wish they had actual TV on their TVs and not just Culver ads, but we were just there to eat. I had to skip their dessert this visit, having to drive and all. read more

Not sure why this has a poor rating but I was adequately impressed! The service was quick and friendly, I ordered a bacon deluxe with a strawberry shake and it came out within five minutes or so. The burger was delicious, cooked to perfection, and have a good size to it. I was a little wary about the crinkle cut fries however they were picked to perfection as well. Nice and crunchy. For my drink, I had a strawberry shake and wow! It was so good! This place does not deserve anything lower than a four-star. I would recommend checking this place out! read more

First off the man at the window was short, and a complete douche bag. Upon ordering $51.00 in food we had to pay an additional 1.31 for ranch. We ordered fries and cheese curds and a corn dog along with burgers. Are you telling me you serve them dry. I guess not every location is the same. Poor attitudes is poor service. read more

Fast food is a rarity for me. But this isn't fast food; it's good food quickly! Loved my culver deluxe burger but the true winners is the cheese curds and my custom mint oreo custard. Culver's in Port Charlotte Fl is a great establishment, there less than a half mile off the highway, clean restaurant and they get your order right the first time. E and I were on the way to visit family and we just can't drive past a Culver's without talking about stopping. We ordered 2 butter burgers, a fry and an order of cheese curds and let me tell you there isn't a bad thing I can say about any of the items we ordered. We love Culver's and enjoy having a piece of Illinois when we are in Florida. The food is always amazing. I enjoyed the fish cod for the first time today and paired it with cheese curds. It was fantastic. They serve custard instead of I e cream which is much richer. I highly reccomedn this and makes a great stop on our way to south Florida. read more

Had a quick bite to eat here a few nights ago. Friends had raved over the butter burger so that's what we both ordered with a side of chili. Burgers were good...nothing I'd rave about but I really did enjoy the chili. We ordered at the counter then found our own seats. Order was brought to us and twice we were asked if everything was ok. Culver's is one of the best fast food restaurants period. The butter burgers are much better than McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's. They are made to order. The chicken tenders are great too, I like the Buffalo. The frozen custards are fantastic and they have a great variety of flavors. The drive through has a great system with putting your order number on the side view mirror. read more

In 1984, Craig and Lea Culver, along with Craig's parents George and Ruth, opened the very first Culver's in the family's beloved hometown of Sauk City, Wisconsin, and began serving ButterBurgers¬¨Ü and Frozen Custard. He enjoyed the prime rib which was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the Mini Beef Wellington as an appetizer, since it's no longer offered on the main menu. I had it a few years ago. I also enjoyed a Filet Mignon Oscar style which again was cooked to perfection. The Strawberry Basil Martini was delicious and our server Lindsey was the best thus far! She's was super sweet and personable, very attentive and just fantastic all around! We've always been blessed with great servers and Lindsey was really a star! Brenda stated she would bring out warm Rolls with Cinnamon Butter and a bowl of Salad that she would mix for the both of us right at the table. Our Onion Rings were very good and very large. The Salad she mixed and served on cold plates it was so good. When our Steaks came out, they looked amazing. Both are steaks were done perfect and they were so good. We could practically cut them with a butter knife they were that tender. Our side of Mashed Potatoes and the Sweet Potato was also very good. All our food was hot and flavorful. Brenda kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect even a manager stopped by and asked us how the food was. Our food was some of the best we had in this area in fact the entire experience was one of the best yet. Special thanks out to Brenda for such excellent service and the good vibe of this place. They do run Specials everyday on food and drinks you just have to check. I must give this place 5 out of 5 stars because of the great experience we had there. I for one can't wait to go back! This place is spacious, standard booths and tables, staff members are pleasant and it has the potential of being a fine restaurant. I cannot recommend this spot and I don't understand why management doesn't police their reviews and make appropriate adjustments.
