I'm giving it because the employees that work at this location just don't give a shit. This is probably a location that's been here for a number of years so it is a little ran down. The service was very good and it was a typical checkers hamburger, a little saltier than I like but it was nice and tasty. You can tell that there is damage from Ian That has not been repaired yet. With all the times I come here or order late nights food. Theres probably 3 items that we ordered that never came the way we asked for it.

I.e. checkers and embarrassing amount literally maybe 28 days out of a month it's ridiculous. I'm embarrassed, but it's true. I love checkers me and my husband I never ever complained about the food. Why would you complain about something you love but the first time I ordered something different. I got the chicken bite box. It was horrible. I wanted to exchange it for just more fries and the lady gave me the hardest time in the universe. Was crying she was really mad. She kept trying to ask me if I want the chicken that I spit out remade no, why would I want that? I don't want that. I just wanted more fries. The manager was so kind he didn't even need to speak to me. He just gave me an extra and then she's chasing him around and telling him no because that would be a $.60 up charge and she's just like flipping and then gives me a smaller fry and I just felt like she was very unprofessional very ridiculous. It honestly made me never wanna get checkers to my money again she was the most weirdest person I think I ever encountered in my life checkers do better. Your food is great. Your employee is she even gave me a fake ranch like the rancher they used for the sandwiches she put in a clear cup me the normal ranch everything that could be wrong with a person is wrong with her. Typical fast food eats and pace. Drive-thru was kind of spooky, they have an AI taking your order. However, I will say she was quite polite and my order was accurate. These drive-thrus used to have two-sided lanes, but now the left lane is dedicated to app and delivery orders. Staff was pleasant, however got the "no one wants to work" spiel from the teenager working the window register. My provided food was accurate, I gor just what I ordered. Tried the "Monsterella" sticks--don't bother. They were fine, but 1) NOT monster-sized or taste and 2) lower quality than ither fast food chains like Arby's. I preorder everything on my phone to save some time and I purposely avoid the lunchtime rush since this location is at a major intersection for retail. I never have a problem and the people serving me never have an attitude and are friendly most of the time but never rude. I went here with my mom and my sister and we have waited 25 minutes in line and waited 20 minutes at the window. Half of the order was correct but the other half wasn't. My sisters order was correct. My mom's order was not correct. And I ordered a cheeseburger with ONLY ketchup and cheese. And they gave me a regular burger with onions, lettuce, tomato, and mustard. Fast delicious and reasonable! Friendly staff and I've yet to have an error. The fried fish really should NOT be something to get excited about but it is!! ONLY issue: I ordered extra tartar sauce and was charged $.25 for each sandwich and they weren't SLATHERED! I'm not a fan of paying for condiments so it would be nice if that changed. Checkers is a huge scam and ripoff! You don't talk to an actual person to order it's all automated.. we ordered 2 chicken tender combos and they offered ONLY medium or large.. so I chose medium.. the price on the menu was 7 and change.. but they charged me almost 10.. then charged extra for for the dipping sauce! In every other restaurant in the US the dippin sauce COMES with the chicken tenders.. nope not here charged me 1.50 for 2 sauces.. I'd rather go to burger king from now on.. over 35 bucks for 2 cheese burgers and 2 - 3pc chicken tender combos! Rip off .. I will NEVER eat at Checkers again.. Sunday 7/14/2019 4pm Never been to checkers, Moved down from the cold North to Port Charlotte a year ago. Heard the burgers were good. Ordered two Baconzilla burgers, fries and 2 of their steak sub-type sandwiches they are currently advertising for 2 for $7. Was told after ordering I would have to wait, while they cook new meat. We ended up waiting 25min, the girl came out and apologized for the wait, which is nice, but 25min come on? When we arrived home all the meats had enough salt for a small village, which made it barley enjoyable. This place should get less than a star. Perhaps a quarter of a star for the Diet Coke I had. The wife and I visiting Florida were driving to our destination late. Went to the drive through at 12:20 p.m. on 12-7 -20. Order two meals on waited to get to the window. Once we got to the window we paid and then waited and waited with many cars behind us. The cashier finally asked what our order was and we told her a second time. Sometime later she handed us a bag of food that was nothing like what we ordered. We handed it back and now this line hasn't moved but we watched about a dozen cars get their order in the other line.
