They are dog friendly, which is a plus. Outdoor seating is covered, but there is also a yard area with uncovered picnic tables and a doogy waste station. It's my understanding they recently got new owners, and the menu and prices have definitely changed. We used to love the cheap mimosas - and the variety of flavors offered. I saw online that their brunch was going to be available until 1 on the weekend, but apparently that has since been scratched off on the menu and their breakfast options are only available until 11. I did enjoy the adult iced coffee ($11) and basic mimosas/bloodys are currently $7, so not too bad. My bf was not a fan of the bloody Mary. The food items increased a bit to more FL standard prices (~$14-15) and the food was still just okay. As a note- They do Not have real syrup, just the log cabin stuff. Additionally, service seemed a bit confused and details from the menu did not match exact to the till so you may want to pay attention to the bill, these may just be growing pains that will resolve over time and we will try it again in the future. read more

This is our favorite go to restaurant after taking Freckles to the dog park. We sit on the patio with her and enjoy the beautiful weather. The first thing I noticed was that the menu was changed into a hodgepodge of different items. Before it was easy to order, pick your protein, cheese, bread, toppings and one side. The prices were reasonable and the staff were super friendly. I ordered the BLT with turkey and a side of their homemade chips. It was supposed to be on pretzel bread, which I'm pretty sure I didn't get. The sandwich was placed on a tray that was too small and one half of the sandwich was on top of the other. I asked if the management had changed and the answer was YES. Dave had more complaints than I! He ordered a hamburger medium with a side of onion rings. He also added on crispy bacon which wasn't crispy. The hamburger was inconsistent and rare. The onion rings weren't thoroughly cooked - never had this problem before. He asked to see the manager who asked us what we wanted to be comped on. Dave said nothing, just letting you know the quality of dinner was not what it used to be. She offered us cheesecake and we took whatever it was home with us, it was a bunch of cookies and some gooey concoction that wasn't cheesecake. Also let's talk about prices. They are definitely much more with this extensive menu. A hot dog is now $14 with a side and two toppings. Our check was $40 without tax and tip. This included one beer and an iced tea. I told them that I was hungry and they fed me. Dakota cooked me a burger and some fries and a drink. Amora, I'm not sure about her name but they were both kind and helped me out tremendously. You think it would be embarrassing for us 67 year-old man. But if you have lived and gone through and dealt with what I have it's about the easiest task you could ask for. Pride ? I don't have any! The Burg'r Bar was recommended by some coworkers so we went for lunch. We were seated quickly. The atmosphere is western style. Service was attentive. We started with an appetizer, the Pickle Fries. They were Spears in shape and a home made ranch dipping sauce we all like them. My burger choice is the Charlotte Patty Melt. The burger was cooked to a good temperature have to say really enjoyed the sourdough bread. $17 is a little expensive for a burger and one side. It's pretty expensive. Overall good atmosphere. A Classic Case of if it Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It. Our favorite restaurant (after Hurricane Charley's) for many years, Burg'r Bar is unfortunately under new ownership. Presumably Mother Goose, judging by the ridiculous menu titles and the stupid cow pix on the walls (this is a bar after all, not a Chuckie Cheese). But let's get to the important part - the food. Gone is the coconut French toast, a dish so good that we used to order extra to take home. A lot of other favorites were removed as well. I ordered a Corned and Confused from the Pasture Poached portion of the menu. Aptly named, as the kitchen is very confused about what corned beef hash is. I received two tiny English Muffins with little bits of hash browns on them and the toughest chunks of corned beef I've ever tried to eat. The Hollandaise sauce was good. This was $15. Not impressed. I'm so upset with the hatchet job that has been done to a once beloved restaurant I don't know what else to say. The good part is that we didn't have to wait in line, which at 1030 on a Friday morning in season is weird. Or not. Our server was excellent and we tipped her extra cause she's probably taking home a lot less these days. What a shame. read more

So we are looking for a friendly fun bar, and thought we'd try out Burg'r Bar. We came during happy hour so our draft domestics were cheaper. They came with a frosty mug and a smile. Our bartender was pleasant and helpful. The place was busy with lots of folks. Parking was the toughest part but doable. We had a few drafts before deciding to share a Build your own Burg'r. We selected a burger with cheese and egg - and a side of sweet potatoes fries. It came out on a small tin plate. The gave us another plate too. The burger was big and with the toppings- huge! The sweet potatoes fries were hot and seasoned just right. Good thing we decided to share. Still too much to eat for us but oooh so yummy! We finished it off and loved it! What a great place for cold drafts, friendly workers, and an amazing burg'r, Give it a try. It's on our list of places to return to for food and drinks. read more

This was our goto burger joint but never again. Turns out the a new owner bought this place in August. WOW what a difference. After bragging about the great burgers we took our son a 2 children here. We were seated and the waitress was very attentive. We ordered our drinks and the ordered our food. Then we waited 1hour and 20 minutes. When the food came out the 3 burgers ordered medium rare and one medium were cook to hockey pucks. The potato chips were undercooked and soggy. When I complained and asked to speak to the manager no-one showed up. They couldn't defend the lousy food but wanted me to pay full price with no concessions. I paid and left NEVER TO RETURN. I ordered the Burger of the day candied jalapeños, bacon burger on buttered toast with upgraded side onion rings $13.50 + $2 for onion rings. I wouldn't go with the onion rings, they were not worth it. My wife had the bacon blue burger, bacon burger with blue cheese. She liked it. Food came out fast. Sever was on point. There is also a alcohol bar inside so if you like a drink with your meal they have a good setup. We just stopped for a quick lunch so no drinks for us this time. Was clean inside. With the exception of the burger of the day their burgers are a little more on the higher side for a burger if you are trying to stay cheaper, but you do get what you pay for. They had a special Reuben the night we were there which was enormous and delicious. Dinner salad was just OK but I'm not sure this is really meant to be a dinner salad kind of place. We have been wanting to try this place, and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend has been craving it ever since we went. Our service was great, and very quick as we arrived right after they opened. The inside is small, and it does fill up fast at times, and I see why! We tried to go one time before and the wait was too long for us at that time. I was so excited to go here after my spouse raving about hunkering for their burgers. What a complete and absolute utter disappointment. A dive bar does a better job with food than this place. They used to have at least one pescatarian option fish and chips. They eliminated it even though it was still on the website ‍. When I asked about it the bartender growled at me they'd gotten rid of that over a year ago. Again, My guy always loves their burgers so we went. The place was packed for lunch not a spare seat and while they could handle the crowd we were fortunate to get the last two seats at the bar. The bar had a mediocre draft beer selection and a pretty extensive and exotic booze menu. I don't mind dive bars, the old wood low ceilings and history are appealing and tell a story of weathered time. I do mind a rude obnoxious bad day bar tender who seems to hate his job. We might as well have been at Dicks last revenge. The one and only thing for me to eat was a grilled cheese sandwich. One could ask themselves how bad could a grilled cheese be? Answer pretty fricking bad. A four year old could have done better. Even worse they have salad on the menu, yet one would have thought asking for a side salad and extra cheese on the sandwich and mayo on the side would be simple. He was so rattled and pissed the grilled cheese was on bread not a grilled cheese bread we are talking like wafer thin bread he just went to Walmart and bought an off brand of wonder bread again NOT grilled. Then slapped two pieces of generic cheese on it was that was worse then kraft or velveta NOT melted (see photo) ! I really shook him up asking for mayonnaise or the side. They had zero sides that were not fried so the side salad I asked for...it must have come from the accoutrements to burgers. Horrible experience never going back. It took 40 minites to arrive, way too long. The salad was good, sandwich was terrible. Very little turkey and mostly salami and onion. The worst part of this sandwich was the totally stale sub roll. It came with a side, I tried the onion rings. Literally, there were three medium sized rings. Should have gotten the fries. This sandwich cost 19.00 bucks. It was way over priced and bad tasting too. I have only eaten here once. I do the pub run on Wednesday and ordered a bison burger to take home. It was amazing. It's so good that I think about it all the time. I'd like to visit outside the pub run event when I would actually be considered a customer. They are very specific about this on those evenings. Very disappointed in the Burg'r bar. We had been going to it since it opened however they sold this past year and we just went tonite and what a disappointment. They now put their meals on trays that are not much bigger than the trays they bring your bill on. The ice tea is in a smaller glass. I tried the blt&t and onion rings which all the coating fell off and the bacon was dry and tasted old. The bison burger is unflavorable. Don't think we will be going back sorry to say. read more

Not only was this place really trendy and friendly - the food was delicious! We shared the tots - which are huge! Super flavorful and just the right amount of crispy while still soft inside. Yum. I had the Ruben with a veggie patty and I gotta say - this was the best Ruben I've ever had. Even from back when I ate meat, this one would win. The bread was amazing, thick and toasty, sauerkraut was just feisty enough that you knew it was there without being overpowering. And the veggie patty was wonderful with a great mix of veggies, crispy but soft inside. The fries were also great! Their menu isn't huge but it doesn't need to be with a great build your own burger section, some fun burgers to try and a few really great sounding apps. This is a review for breakfast as I had read such positive things about it. It was very good for a solid basic breakfast which is what you want when letting someone else do the cooking. The sausage was tasty and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Biscuit was fluffy and they refilled my husband's coffee without prompting. I personally like a little onion or peppers in my breakfast potatoes but that is a personal preference. It was all very tasty. We did get charged for tasteless tomatoes on the plate which we did not order but what is a couple of bucks? We are not complaining. I personally don't like to go out for breakfast because I think I do it better, but my husband likes to give me a break from my home line cook job. He liked it and for that I am happy!
