    Beef on a Wreck and

Our first visit here. I have heard so many raves about this restaurant, we had to go. Went on a Saturday about 4:45pm. We were seated right away. When we left an hour later, line was out the door! Looks like a tavern. Tends to sound pretty noisy. Having said that, the food was excellent. My husband got the Blazin Shrimp Tacos and I ordered the Beef on a Wreck and fries. Both dishes were absolutely delicious!!! No complaints at all about the food. They could use a few more servers. The ones they have were working hard! We will definitely be going back!

yum! place was packed on this chilly monday evening in feb. we were lucky enough to snag a seat at the bar and avoid the 1.5 hr wait! just a late snack, I had a french onion soup which was great!! the cheese was perfect.. I also had a salad with white balsamic dressing, the house salad. my friend had the jalapeño muffin which was also outstanding. the bar, as packed as it was had lovely baristas, sweet as pie- wish I knew her name so I could give her the credit!! can't wait to return.

Great service and tasty food, the food could be more exciting but it does taste good and the service is quick and friendly, great atmosphere around the bar.

man ole man what a fantastic place. I've now eaten breakfast and supper there and I gotta give them credit. the food was excellent. service as well. you'll pull in the parking lot and think you'll be waiting days for a table. not the case. both times we went the parking lot was full, but we're seated within a couple minutes. it's a lil more upscale in pricing but worth it for sure. you won't leave hungry. check them out. yummy pics to follow..

We tried a few new items on the menu. I had the lobster bisque and it was heavy on the sherry and not as creamy as I typically like. I also had the potato balls and they were a bit spicy. My youngest son had the pistachio crusted fish "Empress cod" and ate all of it. My oldest son had the nachos and he wasn't a fan but they were devoured by everyone else at the table. I had the tuna nachos and loved them! We'll definitely be back.

The menu has just about some thing for everyone and they have specials which we chose.. the service was the best. The place is loud, and the bar was packed. The portions are huge so for the same bet go for the lighter side. Even the lighter portions are huge. Full bar, friendly staff.

My parents live in the area and this is their fav. They do not take reservations, so my suggestion is to call ahead and join the wait list before you head that way. Once you arrive, be prepared to wait... but it's worth it. The service and food are excellent. They move people through fairly quickly. We had the TamTav potato balls for a starter. It was interesting, but good flavor. Entrees at our table included the filet, fish and chips, crab cakes, and Thai tuna. Everything was large portions and delicious! Highly recommend when you are in the area to give them a try!

Food was good. Service was not. Wait was 1.2 hrs. Front hostess needs work on seating very disorganized. Whole process was not enjoyable.

Service was okay, the lady was friendly and didn't disappear. Good selection of foods but deep-fry heavy. The salad came with all ingredients separately laying on the plate, so I had to try mixing it without letting items fall off the plate (didn't work). The add on fish was severely overfried and tasted more like a jerky. Mahi tacos weee good. Wine comes in plastic "glasses". Views - 5, seats comfort - 3.5, service - 4, food - 3.5, cleanliness - 3.5. Pina colada is 10/10, creamy, delicious robust drink.... My husband ordered a grouper sandwich and when it arrived he was shocked at the overall size of the fish. For 25$ I would highly recommend not ordering this. Both size and taste were underwhelming. I had the bang fish tacos and they shrimp was delicious... but again we wanted more! You get two large tacos filled with shredded lettuce and tomato's and 3 tiny shrimp. Both of us got the coleslaw for a side and it literally tasted like slaw with mayo... and nothing else. Would I come back? Definitely for the Pina colada!

Ok! I got dressed up and walked over there. My table was ready on time; it was in the lounge area of the restaurant. They offered me the table or said I could sit at the bar. I opted to sit at the bar. The bar was almost full but people were leaving. Apparently people eat early there. The bartender was swamped but smiled and got me a glass of water. Soon I had menus. I like that they have a regular menu as well as a specials menu, including the usual cocktails and some special cocktails. I ordered the conquest, which seemed like a twist on an old fashioned. They offered bread or focaccia bread, I declined. And heads up- bread service is not included. It's an up charge. Normally I don't care but I was having dessert, not bread. I had the halibut special. It was phenomenal. One of the guys from the kitchen dropped it off and asked if I needed anything'- I replied salt. I find that I need salt often at restaurants. They brought the salt out real fast! I had a bite and determined it didn't need any more salt- it was perfectly salted! Woohoo! Fantastic. I ate my whole dish and then I savored my cocktail. The bartender wasn't much for conversation , as she was very busy, alone, covering the entire bar and drinks for the whole restaurant. She did invite me to try dessert, and mentioned a coconut cream cake that was not on the menu. I agreed to it and it was heavenly. Seemed like cheesecake icing with fluffy layers of cake and subtle coconut flakes throughout. The chocolate ice cream was weird at first but then I realized it's like almond joy/ mounds - coconut and chocolate are often paired. The espresso crumble gave it a nice crunch and there was caramel all over the plate. Wow! I took the majority of the cake home. It was a large portion and indulgent. I paid my tab and finished my drink. I was not rushed. I would go back again. It's a bit pricey. The fish special was $58. The cocktail was $17 and the dessert was $16. So one person, who did not add on the bread service, was $91. It's expensive. I would emphasize you can probably get a seat at the bar if you can't get a reservation. Also- the entrance is hard to find. It's in the parking lot and not facing the main road. I got a little lost walking there. The signage is poor. I can't imagine going there the first time in the dark. So give yourself a couple extra minutes if it's your first time going there.
