Stopped in to treat myself to some custard after a long day at work. Placed my order within five minutes in the drive thru, but then a 25 minute wait for a single dish of custard tonight. Ridiculous! Had to eventually go inside to get my order. Staff couldn't explain the issue. Got home and found they made it wrong after all that! Was supposed to be the flavor of the day (Espresso Toffee Bar). The custard is described as "Rich espresso flavored Fresh Frozen Custard swirled with old fashioned salted caramel, crunchy bits of Heath Bar and gooey butter cake pieces". Starving After the Bucks Game, Served Frustration at Culver's We left starving after the Bucks game, and Culver's seemed like the perfect solution at 9:50 pm. **Big mistake.** We ordered (vegetarian option included!), waited patiently in the drive-thru for our food...and waited...and waited. Finally, at 10:12 pm, our incomplete order arrived. Missing? The cod sandwich and a fry. We politely informed the young man, but to our shock, he claimed we never paid for them (despite no order confirmation or receipt review). **Here's where things went downhill fast.** By 10:12 pm, with a supposedly complete order already delayed, they refused to acknowledge the missing food because the kitchen was closed. A refund for the missing fry (which we paid for) was also denied because, according to them, the register was closed. How were we supposed to know our order would be wrong, and that the restaurant was practically shutting down?** Their solution? Expired custard. Yes, you read that right. The offered "apology" was melted, spilled ice cream past its prime. Needless to say, it went straight in the trash. To top it all off, a staff member displayed a terrible attitude throughout the ordeal. Considering their mistake and our lack of knowledge about the missing items, empathy would have been nice. Service inside wasn't great - the kid working the counter seemed to be depressed about working on a Sunday afternoon. Understandable, but not excusable. Butter Burger Cheese - no bun I asked for lettuce, mayo, mustard, raw onions, and tomato. I got mine missing mustard and tomatoes. note to self - their lettuce is shredded. Atlantic Cod Sandwich Fish is delicious, moist, and crispy. Hubby enjoyed it. On previous occasions, I've had their cheese curds and fries. Fries are the crinkle cut version, which I'm not particular about. The curds were great. Hubby is particular about the buns on a sandwich or burger, and Culver's buns aren't his favorite. read more

I have been going here for years. It's always clean on the inside, they serve the food within no more than 45 minutes on a typical day, I eat their single cheeseburgers well-done, and they have always gotten mines well-done and their cheese curds are very good there too. I went though the drive through on a busy Friday night. The menu placement in the second lane is poorly placed. The wait was reasonable for the amount of customers. I bought a gift card there and when the people I gave it to tried to use it it was empty. When I next saw them they told me what happened and I asked if they still had the card sure enough after checking with the Culvers people they told me it had been used an hour after I bought it. I asked if I could get a refund and they had the nerve to say are you sure you didn't use it. The service was awesome at this place even when they were clearly busy the workers apologized for the wait times. Honestly, fast food workers are most likely mistreated all the time compared to other food workers. I've given this place multiple times before leaving a review. Everytime I come here my order gets messed up. Fine ok I get it but today I'm mad. I place a very small order. Pulled into a spot to wait. After watching 10-15 cars roll thru and a half hour of waiting I decide to go inside. Oh sorry sir we don't have your ticket I don't know what to tell you. Excuse me I paid I better not have to go get my phone, receipt and ticket. Treated rudely I got my order and left. Bottom line is there is too many kids and not enough adults with situational awareness to make this place run smooth. You would think after walking past a car for a half hour in a wait spot with a ticket on the car you would check on that. Nope. No clear understanding or awareness by staff. Just rude kids. I love Culver's but after today even free food wouldn't get me to come back to this one. This Culver's on Howell and Drexel is PHENOMENAL. I moved to the area and started going to this Culver's all year in 2023. And a couple times this month. Not once have I ever asked for a change or customization that they couldn't accommodate. They make me feel like I deserve their amazing kindness and service in their tone and service! Wow! Service like this at a fast food restaurant has not existed since the 50s lol. It seems like the work atmosphere is clean and considerate. Everyone that works there seems happy... I mean that is a feat to get every to pretend to be happy?... No, these folks are truly satisfied with their working environment and also seem to enjoy the culture that has been established by management. Our Culver's is in Oak Creek on Howell and Drexel. The manager dude has been there for years. He is a nice man and really takes pride in his team there and the service given. He is many times in the dining room asking how everything was. The food here is always good. The mushroom Swiss burger is my personal favorite and cheese curds. We frequent here when we can and a coupon for $1 off a basket gives us extra incentive and smile. It's a little pricey, but worth it for a decent burger, side and soda. The drive thru usually has a back up. We go inside. read more

The last two visits the service has been horrible! Last week I started my order at the drive thru and paused to get my son's order. I hit up this place on my first stop of the Weight Watchers adventure. I joined Weight Watchers, which has an incredible app that gives you point totals for dozens of restaurants so you can eat healthy almost anywhere. Culver's is included! I got the cranberry bacon bleu salad with chicken and the raspberry vinaigrette for a total of 9 points. Tawanda! Very clean large and busy place. Love it. The kids at the counter were friendly and my salad and a glass of water set me back $6.99. Who said eating healthy was expensive? Not here! My salad came and it was a dieter' s dream. Huge healthy and rich tasting. No rabbit food here. So satisfying! The cranberries were just enough of a punch and were plentiful. I also saw a gentleman get a kids meal which is another idea for eating a more portion friendly meal. I'll come back. Got 2 3 piece cod dinners and they were not good. Both had large filets that we found were mostly breading, undercooked raw in the middle breading. I eat at Culver's frequently, it's always a clean place with good food. This particular location is the worst. They are across the street from my home so I land up here frequently, forgetting the last annoying experience. The staff is rude and snippy over the intercom, they will pretend they can't hear you in the drive thru and then they're all laughing about it when you come up to pay. They are, many of them, disconcertingly young. My order is almost always incorrect, but the way they deliver the food you don't have a chance to check it before they go sprinting off. On several occasions I've stopped for custard and it's been either crunchy with ice crystals, or almost straight liquid. read more

I find the prices to be reasonable, for the quality. I generally stick to the snack pack meals which are about $5.00. I'm ready to say it-WORST CULVER'S LOCATION IN THE MILWAUKEE AREA! I'm really beginning to think these guys have it out for me. They see the big guy in the little Toyota and they mess with me. I drive miles and go to all different custard places just for this flavor, and since I have not had it since last summer I've been surfing the online custard schedules to find out who and when will someone have this flavor. I found out this location had it next, which was perfect since I had a shopping trip planned in the area. I'm wishing I hadn't stopped. And that's nothing against the customer service. The girls who took care of me were very nice, they had me checked out quick and I had my custard quickly. I took off and parked in the grocery store parking lot to enjoy my custard. It was almost too good to be true, then only a couple spoonfuls in, I bite into something hard. My mind starts racing. Strawberries? Usually not hard, at least in custard. Shortcake? Probably not. Custard? When has frozen custard ever been hard? I panic and shuffle a small, sharp white piece of something out of my mouth. I really want to say it was a piece of plastic, but my mind keeps going back to the fact that I noticed the girl at the drive thru had long nails. Ewww. The only good thing I can take out of this is that I didn't have my baby with me, she usually shares a dish with me and this sharp piece of whatever would have most certainly have messed up her throat. Good Lord!!! I have been wanting to try Culver's for years! I wish I could get a good hamburger in North Carolina. I was so looking forward to eating here. I walked up to the counter with my mouth watering... Dang! My co-worker called and I needed to go pick her up at the airport. Well she's a vegetarian... You can read that post next. So after suffering through that, I made her go to Culver's and watch me eat. I got the double cheese burger with bacon, krinkle fries, root beer and a large chocolate with Heath bar. Delicious. Bacon burger was excellent and food was great until I was eating fries and spotted a three inch piece of what I think was a french fry that was burnt and completely hard and black! I set it aside and pointed it out to Angela, the manager who had a disgusted look on her face but was nice however service got much worse. I had a young man named Chad, ask me all sorts of questions, told me you only have ice cream and no chocolate, could not tell me the flavors and what was the smallest size, walked to get Angela who was not so pleasant this time, rather brisk and rude and Chad had an I told you so insipid smile on his face, ruined what had been a decent experience and really was upsetting! Great until I tried to get to my table, older server was in my way, chatting with customer, said excuse me and nicely asked her to move, she ignored me, looked at me and moved one step! I am disabled and walk with a cane so one inconsiderate step was not enough and forced me to squeeze by! I should have taken that as a warning as service proceeded to get much worse, see below. I received a call from Steve at this number, 414 571 5000. He was brusque, rude, insisted everyone was nice and that no one did anything wrong. It is no wonder to me how everyone is there with this type of owner or manager. Steve could have cared less, did not offer a new french fry order and even forgot about the two other issues until I brought them up. It was quite obvious to me that no one there will admit to any wrong doing. I have decided to give bad reviews online, file with the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs. I also want a letter of apology not just a brusque rude phone call. I have been a manager and this is absolutely the wrong way to treat customers. I went to this one a few years back. On the night I went, this one was surprisingly disappointing, since I was appalled how dirty the dining area of this location was. It was uncharacteristic of how the majority of Culver's locations I've been to have been like, in terms of the cleanliness of the tables. Still, at least the food here was as good as any other Culver's I've been to. Who really knows if this location has improved since? It was just unfortunate that this was the closest location that came up to a motel I was staying at then, since I think we may as well had used the drive-thru that night, and eaten back at our motel. I'm a big fan of Culver's, but this location is not bringing it's A game. They are usually very busy, and usually not well equipped to handle it. The drive thru line is often so long that you can't get into the parking lot. Once inside, there's usually too many people waiting to order without enough space to wait in line. Today, the girl who took my order read it back to me, and when it came out of the kitchen, it wasn't correct. When I took it up to the counter to get it corrected, I had to wait a bit because even though they had a lot of people behind the counter, no one seemed to notice that I was waiting with a problem with my food. Also, my side of mashed potatoes wasn't evenly heated up, so half of it was cold. I love Culver's food, but this location could use some improvement to its service. read more

I finally get inside only to find out the restarant was not honoring the St. Patricks day promotion I was notified of via an eclub email. Food tastes consistent with other Culver's, but I think ever time like 4 or 5 my order was put together wrong. Orders are never complicated at most just substituting cheese curds for fries. Then when I called to correct the order, the manager was angry at me because I wanted cheese curds on my next visit, which I technically paid for already and didn't receive. Maybe my fault for not taking a detailed inventory of my order before driving home. Although service at Ryan Rd Culvers good so must just be bad management at this one location. read more

When we got in Milwaukee late after a full day of travel from California, not much was open so we decided to try Culver's. When we walked in the door, our somewhat low expectations were instantly put to rest with Megan W's warm greeting and friendly smile. Fast food restaurants will forever pale in comparison to this wonderous experience. Megan even delivered our food to the table- reaffirming her position in our hearts forevermore as the single greatest Culver's employee to grace the great state of Wisconsin. Megan W singlehandedly made traveling from California to Wisconsin in November an almost rational decision. She deserves a raise and possibly stock in the company.
