I usually try to avoid giving the one star review, but situation calls for it. The website says their drivethrough is open until 10:30pm. We reach there at 10:10 and start ordering food. 1. The employee was extremely rude while taking the order 2. We got our food - DRY. No sauce, food tasted bad 3. No napkins were included 4. It's still 10:20 and we go back to to order the ketchup, no response from them. We can see them through the window but they're not helping us out I just wish they a lesson or two of customer service. Fresh and made to order food with overall expectations met . The only drawbacks I had ? It's not the most cost efficient if you're looking to save money or get best "bang for your buck deal" and the order was a tad bit wrong . They got us a Reuben sandwich ? Instead of a burger (We didn't even order it or say it to the cashier) and they got us the wrong type of burger on same order too . I will say this too, the person who brought our food to our table could have been more friendly by smiling it acting like she wanted to be there . Tasty burgers. They're known for their butterball burgers. I think it kind of tastes weird lol but a lot of people like it. The frozen custard is even better! You can mix a variety of toppings with your ice cream. The customer service was speedy and friendly. read more

I love the custard here, but if order a meal with any special requests prepare for it to be wrong. Also, their burgers are fine - nothing special. Definitely go for the Custard. Today was mine & my husband's first time eating at a Culver's. We were unsure what to expect but we were not disappointed! The girl who took our order was very nice! We both got the single butter burger combos with fries & we added some cheese curds to split. The fries were PERFECT! And perfectly salted, might I add. The burgers were hot & fresh & delivered to our table super fast! The cheese curds were delicious! Dining room was spotless & even more importantly, especially as a woman, the restroom was extremely clean too! My husband and I both really enjoyed our meals. We don't live in that area but someone should open a location in the Eastgate / Anderson area, closer to our house! We need new options in our area! Stopped here for a quick lunch on our way home last week. Everyone was okay with their orders. We tried gluten free burger as well as the normal Culver burger and a fish sandwich.. Service was prompt but we were taken care of by a young man who was brand new and did not have all the answers to our questions. Not sure what the fuss is about. We went here for dinner on a Thursday night and the place was PACKED. I don't do fast food often -- but there are plenty of other places I would have rather spent my money on. The food is fresh and brought to your table while you wait. Last Friday, we drove thru the drive-up and my wife ordered the Northland Walleye sandwich. It was superb...crispy, served with plenty of tartar sauce and lettuce on a big, fresh bun. Today, the following Thursday, we went to the drive-thru and both ordered the Walleye sandwich. It was dreadful. The bun was soft and wet and seemed more like a hotdog bun. The fish hanging outside the bun was soft and tasteless. The fish within the bun had shed any batter because of the wet bun. While we did find some stringy shreds of lettuce which suggested there may have been some tartar sauce, there was no flavor of tartar sauce or any sign that any had been applied. Both sandwiches had been ordered with tartar sauce and lettuce. We are very disappointed for we were both anticipating a repeat of last Friday. It seems there may be a quality control issue. But regardless, it will be a long time before we are willing to take our business to Culver's. It saddens me because they are close to our home and convenient. read more

Extremely inefficient 'fast food.' I counted no fewer than 12 people working, yet only one person was taking orders up front. One poor lady just needed ketchup and stepped up to the counter after standing in line for 10 minutes. Three people walked right by her and wouldn't even acknowledge her. This is the first time we have tried this place ....overpriced fast food... I had the cod sandwich it was on a cold roll with shredded cheese, lettuce and tarter sauce... it tasted like NOTHING.. completely bland... I got French fries with it which were just your basic crinkle French fries .. nothing special... husband got a sourdough melt and mashed potatoes... he said the mashed potatoes tasted like cardboard ... and we also got the Wisconsin cheese curd bites... which also nothing spectacular just fried cheese. We ate at Culvers in Monroe, OH on 3/20/22 at 3 pm. Had trouble getting any of the 9 young workers behind the counter to wait on us. They actually argued about who had to wait on us. A young worker named Adam had been cleaning tables and went behind the counter to take our order. The food was delicious. I returned to the front counter to order a hot fudge sundae. The worker gave me a number to place on my table so they could bring my sundae to me. About 20 minutes later I approached the counter and asked how much longer until my sundae was ready. The young girl who had taken my order turned to the freezer and took out my half melted HOT (no longer hot) fudge sundae and handed it to me! While standing there, I saw a young worker pouring ice into the drink machine, accidentally knock the lid off the sweet tea container. It landed on the floor right in front of the entrance. She picked it up and put it back on the tea container! I told her she probably should wash it. She ignored me so I repeated it, reminding her it was ON THE FLOOR. She rolled her eyes and took it to rinse it off. On a positive note: the worker named Adam never stopped working! I watched the other workers lounging around, but Adam worked constantly. read more

This is my favorite burger joint in the area. I think their burgers are better than any other place around. They have a variety of food from burgers to chicken sandwiches to ice cream. Workers seem like they actually care about the food they are making. It is in an excellent location. However, I have never been through the drive-thru. My only complaint is it is a tad bit pricy. I'm usually a really big fan of Culver's. I grew up with their pork tenderloin and the concretes. that's the only reason this place is getting two stars. The service at this location was terrible. We had to correct the person taking our order several times. They didn't put anything on my tenderloin (or offer during check out). They completely messed up my husband's order. He ordered a bacon deluxe and all he got was a double patty burger with cheese (when he had asked for no cheese).. and they were rude when he went back up to get corrected. my concrete had almost no mixing in it. From the other reviews, we're not the only ones to have this experience. They need some new staff or retraining at this location as it doesn't hold up to service standard I expect from this restuarant. read more

My wife and kids think their concrete mixers are better than Dairy Queen's Blizzards, so if we're in the neighborhood and the parking lot isn't stupid full (for some reason it always seems to be), than we'll stop. I've had food here twice, and I'm not exactly sure why. Some of the items are good (their chili is good - thankfully not Cincinnati style), but their hamburgers are ordinary and their pork tenderloin sandwich is downright awful. And I hate having to tell you what I want on them - to me it's easier to tell them what I don't want on it. I have always liked Culvers...My wife on the other hand is not a fan although she used to put up with going to the one in Troy Ohio as we could take our Dog and sit outside and share. The place we were going to was closed so since we were going to the outlet mall and there sat Culver's I stopped. I have no complaints about the Fish Sandwich I got but my wife got a Burger that was cold, hard, and basically burnt, not at all juicy...She made me try it and it was terrible. I'm giving one star mainly because of the horrific customer service. This Culver's was great when it first opened but now it's one of the many bad restaurants out there these days. They hire the rudest most arrogant nasty little girls that treat the customer like crap. I've lost count on how many times I've had to deal with some snotty, nasty little girl in the drive thru to the point she makes me so sick that I'm sick eating my food. Eating out is supposed to be a pleasurable experience and the nasty immature girls they hire make it a stressful pain in the ass. There is always a problem form getting overcharged to having to argue over a coupon with the simple minded little girl not making any sense at all yet continues to argue. The food is not worth the stress to get it. Culver's is no better than any other crappy hamburger joint and has become yet another hit or miss restaurant. Just about every time I've ordered the custard it has been melted before they even hand it to me and for a place that you have to get a number and pull over for your food I still have received cold burgers. I used to eat there every weekend and stopped about a year ago because of all this and today I went back to try again because I had a coupon just to get the same old stressful crap. The hateful little girl in the drive thru argued with me over the coupon and it was obvious she knew better and just wanted to be a snobby child who was get her kicks off giving us a hard time. Then she slammed the window shut after taking our money and turned her back on us so we couldn't get any ketchup. So, we sat there and sat there and she finally put her finger up telling us to wait and then sent someone else to the window. We were the only ones in the drive thru. Gee, wonder why! You better check your receipt and check your prices when you go because they famously like to charge you for toppings that come with the sundaes anyway. Too many times in the past I ordered a sundae which comes with two toppings just to look at my receipt and see they charged me for one the toppings that was supposed to be free. We don't need the stress of this place. They aren't worth it even if you have a coupon. FYI, Mason location is a little better as far as treatment but I've been ripped off there too. First bad experience was in the drive through I waited for 10 minutes then delivered my chicken sandwich without a bun! How do you forget the bun? Last experience decided to eat inside. Waited over 15 minutes for them to bring my cold chewy fish and about 5 french fries. My chocolate shake was literally like drinking a bottle of Hershey's syrup. Never again!! read more

EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! Saturday February 16, 2019. After the store closed, one of the employees came out to our car door, opened it without knocking and said "you guys need to leave," then slammed the door shut and walked back to her fellow employees. It was uncalled for and freaked us out. Yes, we were in the parking lot when the store closed, but we were finishing our meals before we had to hit the road again. We understand if we need to leave and find somewhere else to finish eating, but to come up to a car unannounced and open the door, THAT IS SO WRONG! The manager was standing by and did nothing, while the rest of the employees were just laughing about it. I hope for other customers that this does not happen again. This was some of my friend's first time checking out Culver's. We then called the store two days later to let the managers know what had happened and both the manager and general manager did not want to hear what we had to say and were not concerned about the conduct of their employees on Saturday. The food was really good, it is a little more pricey than typical fast food but the quality and quantity is much better. I got a cheddar butter burger and shared a fry and cheese curd with someone and was stuffed. the restaurant was very clean and it is nice that they just give you a number for your table and bring your food to you. The frozen custard is great too (i got the flavor of that day- cookie dough). the only down side is i didn't realize the burgers come plain- only a slice of cheese and if you want the normal burger toppings like lettuce, pickles etc you have to pay extra, they do have ketchup,mayo and mustard out for free so that is great. and if you do a very short serve off of you receipt you get a free item.
