After a long 20 hour drive my family and I stopped at this Culver's to dine in and get some food before jumping back on the road. The staff here was friendly and welcoming! We ordered our food, got a table number and found a spot in the restaurant. The entire restaurant was clean and had someone sweeping and picking up as needed. The restaurant is large and has some great seating options for small or large groups. They also have high chairs for the littles. We had spicy crispy sandwiches, onion rings, and a side salad. All of our food was prepared fresh and accurate. I love that they put a lot of cheese on the salad and you get real ranch but they have other options too. The sandwich was so crispy and the tomatoes and pickles on it were not soggy at all! Loved this place. read more

My first visit to Culver's about a month ago wasn't the experience I had hoped for. So, being a believer in giving a business a second chance, I went back to try them out again. I will say I am convinced they have the best cheeseburgers and shakes in Marion. I'm not a fan of the Cheese Curds, and the crinkled fries are lacking in flavor. But, that will not deter me from going back for the other two food items. Their CURDside service is great, too. I've now upgraded Culver's to a 4-star rating. Recommended. read more

Got cheeseburger and it didn't have lettuce tomato's or onions I asked for it to go and they had it sitting on the counter like I was going to eat in???? All the while my food was out on the counter 5 people were standing around it talking and carrying on like it's a party when there was only one girl taking orders and it was her 3rd day on the job! She needed more training, because when she asked for help the other people were too busy joking and more interested in their conversation instead of helping her get my order right! My kids loved this place. We went through the drive through and ate in the large parking lot due to covid. The chicken strips are delicious-- you can tell they use real chicken breast. Culver's has never let my down until tonight. Placed order in drive thur, received drink and pulled forward to wait for food. 10 minutes goes by and no food. Backed up to the window to inquire about food. Had been sitting in the window for someone to bag it and deliver to me. Everyone was to busy cleaning to close. Please read before you take my rating as a poor experience! Here's the deal, this place has good food and great staff. However, they don't fully understand what it means to be vegetarian. They offer a vegetarian burger on their menu which is great. The problem is that they cook the vegetarian burger on the same grill as the beef burgers, so all that juicy bloody goodness that vegetarians avoid flows all over that clean veggie burger. I have talked with the manager, who was super nice, and was informed that I could request that the burger be cooked in the microwave. That's great, but it doesn't sound all that appealing to me. I really think they need to place an asterisk at the end of the vegetarian burger on the menu and explain that it may have come in contact with beef. I have never had a bad meal here.This is my favorite place to have a burger.I usually order the double butter burger basket with mayo,tomato and onion.Their fries are good along with the Wisconsin cheese sauce.I also would recommend the fish and chips,their grilled chicken sandwich,grilled chicken salad,and the Berry chicken salad. We eat at this Culver's often. The service is good, it's reasonably clean. The custard is good. Fries are great. Fish is excellent. Recently, though, the hamburgers have really declined in quality. Now, instead of a well cooked quarter inch thick burger, you get a crispy, totally charred puck that ranges in depth from 1/4 inch to 1/16th inch. The entire burger is overdone with most of it being so burnt, you are eating charcoal. We stopped eating at Freddie's because that is the way their burgers are cooked--flattened meat burned to charcoal. The change in Culver's hamburgers make me wonder if they hired a cook from Freddie's. Either that or the cook is getting in such a hurry to serve up the meals, he or she flattens them out and then overcooks them. Please bring back consistent and well cooked hamburgers. read more

I love the Culver's here so much! It is one of the only good burger places I've been to in my lifetime, and their food is phenomenal! Not only are their burgers satisfactory, but their frozen custard is delicious! Better than McDonald's hamburgers by a mile, and in my opinion, both better and cheaper than Dairy Queen. Salad on a bun. Greatly varying quality issues from day to day, employee to employee, location to location. In other words they quite frankly wing it at this joint. It's as if they wrangle homeless off the street and tell them to "go for it and be quick about it!" Don't go here unless you're fine with smashed and hard seared meat patty style. Will go again to see if I can get a rubin or melt as good as some of the internet images I've salivated to. read more

Four stars for custard and cheese curds, which are the only things I get here (I'm a very picky eater, this has nothing to do with other choices being bad). I would give five stars but as mentioned in another review, the parking situation is awful. Anytime I've been here, business is booming. So if you're lucky to find a parking spot, you'll almost certainly be blocked in by the drive through line. Otherwise my experience here has been great. read more

Great Custard! Many choices. I ordered the fish and it was delicious. The fries were cold. I don't eat much beef so not sure about the burgers. The salad was fresh and very good. I do wish the staff would use more gloves and hair nets if they are carrying food around the restaurant all the time. It does not see like a good idea due to germs. What a great ice cream experience we had with your champion associate Collin on September 4th. Chocolate E'claire was the flavor of the day. We had dinner already and needed a little cold ice cream to finish our night off while in town for a stay. First of all, Collin was a friendly smile when we arrived. He was humorous when my husband responded that he needed 42 scoops of the flavor of the day! Friendly, humorous, great product knowledge, hospitality spot on -- which we find is hard to come by in our travels! Thanks Collin! We both had dishes of custard -- mine was vanilla with chocolate syrup and reese cup. Always good food at Culvers! This shop was clean inside and out - all the way from the sidewalk through the parking lot, to the outdoor seating area, to the front counter space. Great shop!
