Decided to give this Culver's another try after an extremely long wait the first time. The second time, the wait is even longer.

Never had I heard of Culver's so I wanted to experience what everyone had been writing such great reviews over. I was a tad disappointed. The fried are flavorless, the burgers are extremely greasy and the cheese curds were dry. Honestly I felt like I could have gotten a better meal at flame broiled fast food chain that was better and cheaper. Not impressed and will leave this one for those who enjoy it. We happened to be in the area and were starving so I looked up fast food near me in goggle. Culver's came up at less than 2 miles away so we said let's try it. My wife and I just made it since they close at 10 PM.... The strawberry/chicken salad was surprisingly delicious. The spicy chicken sandwich and double burger was much better than I expected. Service was friendly and we were both pleasantly surprised. Much better than McDonald's and Wendy's..... We don't have one in Boynton. Wish we did. read more

Bugers are pretty good & the custard is decent, but thats about it. The fries are never fully cooked, they don't offer catchup at driver thought and I forget to ask because they are busy pushing you along. Bit today i hot a pint, well I thought it was a pint see picture, of cookie and cream for my daughter, didn't think to check it at the drive thru bit next time, if a next time, I will. Talk about short changing, paid full price and left with less tha 3/4 a pint. read more

Arrived at 7:00 pm and immediately greeted by employee. We both ordered a combo basket ( Butterburger, fries and soft drinks. Within 15 min of being seated, our meals were delivered to our table. The burgers were nicely grilled, fries hot and again, friendly servers. It is clean, quiet and pleasant eating there. I regret that I had no room for an ice cream dessert. we will return!! read more

I had never been to a Culver's I wanted to go for the fish and chips. The servings were large. My 2 sides were chips and onion rings. Loved the onion rings. Very well done. Fries were good, the fish was really good except it was a bit greasy. However the fish was nice and flakey and very juicy. It's quick serve and the girly at the register was nice and friendly. Culver's is a low key, order at the counter, food brought to your table casual dining restaurant. Their butter burgers are both filling and delicious. Add fries or their signature cheese curds and you have a fantastic meal. They offer a self service drink machine. Mix and match like my friend did! Plenty of diet options. If you still have room after eating your meal, consider their scrumptious frozen custard in moderation. A true treat. When you are finished eating a worker will take your tray and trash. Not sure what all the hype is for this place. Maybe it was much better when they first opened. When we got there the drive they line was wrapped around the building w/ about 20 cars. We said that's a good sign that the food must be great. We decided to go inside and the line wasn't so bad in there. We placed our order with a nice young lady and it went rather quickly but we waited about 20 mins to get our food. I think they were giving the drive thru customers their food before dine in. I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars only because of the young lady who took our order was very nice and the other young lady that bought the food to the table was awesome. There was a very very rude person behind the counter w/ pink or reddish hair who kept yelling at the employees telling them they were too loud when in fact she was the only person being loud and rude. There was a employee named Vanessa that was so pleasant to everyone but the pink hair lady yelled at her so loud that a few patrons PLUS myself jumped. As we went to fill our cups up with drinks there was another employee that was leaving and said "let me get the "F" outta here before I "F" this "B" up and we all moved to one side just in case she decided to do something crazy. We assumed she was talking about the pink hair lady she was going to "F" up. The neighborhood seems pretty nice but the workers are like WHOA!!! Anyway after getting the food we ordered we were disappointed. We had the cheese curds that tasted like old/cold mozzarella balls that was missing the marinara sauce. My double bacon cheeseburger combo was ummmm not what I was expecting. My meat was soooo thin and burnt to a crisp and the 2 patties prob make a 1/8lb burger. The fries were good and hot and fresh. The RootBeer was very very tasty and he said the Pepsi was good. Then my fiancé had the spicy chicken sandwich that was so thin and crispy and tasteless. Always clean , always polite, great service. I always enjoy a trip to Culver's. There is just so much high quality fare and a variety of choices, and I have yet to be disappointed. I love the butter burgers, the outstanding crinkle cut , Pot roast sandwich Cod sandwich and pretty much anything I've had including the cheese curds. Ice cream and other frozen treats .what a nice quiet and comfortable clean well lit place. It's like a theme park for your mouth , so try all the rides, soon you'll be buying season tickets! This was my first time trying this place and they did not fail to impress. The food is excellent! I usually do not opt to eat inside fast food restaurants but glad my partner talked me into it. It was so clean including the bathroom, the staff was super nice, and the ambiance was perfect. The food was brought to our table, the burgers were sooo delicious and probably the best fast food burger I've ever had. The onion rings were fresh, crispy, and yummy. Finally, they are open! It's been a 2 year journey, but finally Eric Pierce has opened CULVER'S in Margate. We were excited to learn that a Culver's was going to be opening in our neighborhood! My first Culver's experience was in Kenosha, WI at the unit just outside the outlet mall over 10 years ago. I have been a fan and customer ever since my Deluxe Butter burger, onion rings, vanilla malted shake and vanilla cone. I look for a Culver's whenever I'm traveling and am known to make U-turns across six lanes of traffic just to make a STOP. No U-turns required here in Margate as easy access is afforded, no matter which direction you are coming from. Today's visit was post lunch for us so we had our dessert here; a Butterscotch sundae for my wife and a cake cone with Vanilla Custard, (my favorite tried and true). As we were finishing our delicious custards, Eric Pierce, the owner/operator, was kind enough to stop by and ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Eric shared his journey to opening up this unit (and hopefully others in our part if the state!), and the training involved. So I will preface and say this review is NOT solely based on my meal but also the experience and expectation. In South Florida there is only 1 Culver location for now till the Coope City one opens so its not a close drive but I'll drive and spend money on a good meal even if its fast food. I've been to Culver's a ton of times and it was one of my go to's for a good Butter burger with cheese, fries, and a Mountain Dew I say WAS because like several other fast food locations Culver's has joined the ranks of Arby's, and other locations who have taken the cheaper way out and moved to Coke because they are cheaper for the restaurants to use, and restaurants make more profit. Not because they did surveys or spoke to the clientel. This decision surprised me though because Culver's is not a cheap place to eat. I average 45 to 50 for a family of 4. I have higher expectations on the choice and the service. That being said I was in a bad mood already pulling up seeing the Coke picture, this location STILL hasn't turned on the order ahead online and pick up curbside option like several other busier Culver's like Orlando and Port St Lucie so the lines are still ridiculous. When I got my food I received 1 bag and the guy walked away and said thank you, but I had a bad feeling no way the4 of our meals could fit in there. Thank God I checked because the 8 piece tenders were missing. Had to wait for someone to come out again to the pick up line to get the food. If I would have driven home 25 minutes to find the most expensive item on the order was not in the bag I would have lost it. I love this place and I'll be back I'm sure, i can easily have a Mountain Dew with me from Wawa bext door, but the disappointment might keep me away for a bit. I have been looking forward to Culver's opening for some time. Their reputation is stellar and they are nationally ranked number 3 for quick service restaurants (fast food?) and number 1 among hamburger spots, although in and out is tops depending on the list. I don't often frequent chain places, but when they are special, they are special. I was hoping his would be for the hamburger what Chik Fil A is for the chicken sandwich. Seeing the lines around the building in the first few days only heightened my hopes. Alas, I am a victim of my expectations and hopes being too high. The hamburger was good for a fast food restaurant, but not as good as the boom of burger spots like Shake Shak, Burger 21, Burgerfi, 5 Guys and the like. When compared to local spots like Jack's Old Fashioned, Gilbert's, Charm City, Burger Stop, and Tucker Duke's we aren't even in the same conversation. This makes it hard to rate because I don't think they are intending to compete against those types of places. If it was a blind taste test compared to the burger spots mentioned above, probably a 3, but that is like apples and oranges. For convenience, customer service , price point, and being a true fast food chain I give it a 4, maybe a 5 if held up against McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, etc. I will probably catch heat for this, but I didn't order anything that was any better than Steak n Shake. In fact, the burgers I've had at Steak n Shake have been juicier and more flavorful. I went all out, added bacon to my deluxe double. The burger was definitely the best part of my lunch. I subbed cheese curds for fries for an extra $1.09 and subbed a shake for an extra $2.00. I definitely went all out, and the extras brought my lunch total to $13.79. The cheese curds didn't excite me like I hoped. The shake was good, but funny story, I was thinking it was the thickest shake I ever had. Instead, there were massive chunks of strawberry in it and I had one blocking my straw from before the first sip. I must have looked like a fish in my car trying to get to the shake. Some might find the strawberry chunks nice, but I definitely think they should have been blended in small enough to fit through the straw. The shake consistency was too thin for a spoon so it didn't make sense. It was kind of strange and I probably would order a concrete if I had it to do over. Overall, it's a better choice than McDonald's or Wendy's, but didn't knock my socks off. It reminds me of my giant hopes for Sonic when they would market me to death with commercials and we didn't have one in Broward. When it finally came, it was ho hum. read more

Super excited to have a Culver's near home! Their shakes and burgers are good. I love the made to order style. I wish they had more seafood options or veggie options but you cant expect too much from a burger joint. The wait was not too long even though they have only been open about a week at this location. I am sure they will move a little faster once they get into their groove. The staff at the window were pleasant and made me feel like they were happy to be there. I havent ever been to a Culver's and had bad customer service so that is DEFINITELY a plus. I wont come here too often (i have a figure to maintain), but I will most definitely BE BACK! read more

Being a Wisconsin native, I know what Culvers is all about. I have been at this location many times. I would give 5 stars, however, sometimes it's really difficult to understand what is being said through the drive thru. Also, fix your soda machines. Half the time I get a drink, it's either flat or nasty tasting. Lastly, please take the time to put the burgers together correctly. On several occasions, the cheese on a burger had had the slice on the burger and the other half melted to the paper. Very sloppy. read more

Food is always good here. I don't normally leave reviews, but considering how long the line was in the drive-thru I figured going inside would be quicker. I noticed all the staff working hard, being polite, and making sure all customers accommodations were taken care off. Even the dude who took my order was respectful and asked questions to make sure he put down the correct order. Just did drive thru and order Double Butter Burger that was so well done the paper wrapper would have tasted better! Order North Atlantic Cod dinner, Cod was great but no vinegar or ketchup as I requested and fork had only two teeth on it! Easy in and out, open until 10PM allowed for a quick drive from Fort Lauderdale after our dinner was settled. Promptly met at the ordering counter and placed my order. Prices are comparable to the competition and foods delivered were freshly made and good taste. We ordered two concretes and one regular crinkle fry. The fries delivered were hot and had great taste. Not greasy and properly salted. The concrete was thick and blended almost all the way to the cup's bottom. we both decided on Oreo and M&M blended in. I had a single cheese burger. It was close to what I ordered. It had mustard. On a burger. I didn't ask for mustard. New place, working out the kinks. Here's why it got a four star rating. The burger, the fries and my sons shake were good. Son had a chicken sandwich, said it was quite good. Fries requested well done, were. Decent burger, give it a shot. We did. I was lucky enough to make a stop here for some food on our drive home and was so impressed. I didn't get to try everything I wanted and just went with a basic cheese burger with fries, got the swiss and mushroom for the hubby with some onion rings, and the kids chicken tenders for my baby girl (she devoured it). Came in at 8:55 ,no ice tea, no big deal,chicken sandwich for my granddaughter took 3 times to come out hot,and still had to come back to counter and get the extra pickles at this point I ask Eva/manager, I think her name was for corporate number ,flat out told me don't know what it is ,told me to look it up ,then came back to get both my granddaughters ice cream for kids meal asked gentlemen behind counter, what flavor of the day and told me look at the board ,then I asked my granddaughters in front of him one said peach ,then asked him for one chocolate one peach ,then told us we are out of that it's 5 minutes to close ,what do you expect,then proceed to tell two female cashiers to take us ,the Eva/Manger stepped in and got ice cream for my granddaughters ,told they young man to have it us ,and said I'm not doing that ,the worst part of the whole dining experience,is when that same young man proceeded to come outside when we where leaving,threatening myself and putting me in position that would result in me protecting my grandkids ,and your company should look at the videos also ,the is no reason at all for him to follow us out,we never even talked to this kid at all read more

I was supposed to wait until this weekend to visit but I just couldn't resist. I dropped by today and ordered via the drive-thru. I entered the line at 4:47 and got my food at 5:04. The intercom system was not working very well & it was hard to hear the cashier. Nevertheless, it was worth the wait! I ordered the Mushroom & Swiss combo & it was wonderful & fresh. I can't explain the level of happiness I had when I found out a Culver's was coming to South Florida! I live in the Pembroke Pines area and fully commit to the almost hour drive there and back. Culver's is a Wisconsin based fast food company that always delivers top notch butter burgers and fast food. The employees are always extremely friendly and the quality never disappoints. I always get the Culver's bacon deluxe and I always make it a triple with onion rings on the side (the rings are crispy, flavorful, and perfectly round). They also make a root beer of their own and it's fantastic! For dessert you really can't go wrong with the custard, they have a flavor of the day each day (today was cookies and cream). If quality comfort is is what you seek look no further! P.S. next one to open is Cooper City! read more

i have a love hate relationship with regional restaurants spreading wildly.. on the one hand, it's nice that i can get FRIED CHEESE CURDS again.. on the other hand, nothing is special anymore.. this country/continent is homogenizing in a way that i consider ungood.. i know, you don't actually care about that.. you care about BUTTERBURGERS and FROZEN CUSTARD and, as aforementioned, FRIED CHEESE CURDS!! all of which are delicious!! and they make their own root beer if you're into that kind of thing.. yummers!! takes me an hour (with no traffic) to get here, but that's better than driving to wisconsin!! read more

This is one of the better fast food places in the area. We've only been to the drive thru, but each time, the service has been good. It's a little on the slow side, but nothing too bad. The food is much better quality than the other burger joints. I do like their burgers, but the fries are just OK. There's nothing really special about the fries in my opinion. What sets this place apart is the wide range of options on the menu, especially the entrees. You do have a lot more selection here especially if you don't want just a burger and fries. read more
