The staff here at Pollo Campero are very nice especially Marisela. She was so very friendly and when my food order was ready she walked it over to us. This restaurant was neat and clean and they have a good amount of tables if you want to eat in. I placed my order for takeout only. A customer who had eaten here 19 times told me to order their Fried Chicken.Everything is made fresh. Based on his recommendation I did. I placed my order for 3- 3 Piece Meals that consisted of a Breast, Thigh, and Wing. It came with a choice of a side. I chose 2 of their Campero Rice side, and 1 of their Baked Beans side. I also ordered an order of Chicken Nuggets, a side of Coleslaw, Yuca, and Sweet Plantains. I thought the sides could've been bigger, I'm used to bigger sides, and you definitely need to get multiple sauces for dipping the chicken, and Yuca. The Yuca was very a bit plain and needed a dipping sauce. I'm used to a garlic dipping sauce. They also sell Roasted Chicken, Chicken Nuggets, Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Empanadas, and at some locations a Campero Bowl. If you order a 4 piece meal you can order 1/2 Fried Chicken,and 1/2 Roasted Chicken, or you can order just Fried or Roasted Chicken. The Fried Chicken was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a crispy exterior, and the inside was very juicy and good. Even the Chicken Nuggets I tasted were delicious. They were all White Meat and some of the best i've tried. ( I highly recommend along with the Fried Chicken.) FYI make sure you ask for dipping sauces, It wasn't offered and I didn't know to ask. One isn't enough.My bf got their Campero Sauce, and their Ranch Sauce, both were good. If you have kids order their Chicken Nuggets and Fries. For Drinks they sell Horchata, Mango, and Jamaican along with Soda and Bottled Water. Pollo Campero has plenty of free parking. There are a few Handicapped Parking spaces and this place is wheelchair accessible. I want to try their Roasted Chicken and their Chicken Empanadas, and of course their Fried Chicken Sandwich. I was greeted by a pleasant employee who took my order for a honey butter chicken sandwich meal, consisting of Mac and cheese, a drink, and a side of honey bbq sauce. After handing the employee the free meal offer and providing my name, I was instructed to wait a few minutes for my order to be ready. The dining area was spacious, offering plenty of seating and a relaxing atmosphere. Soon, I was handed my order. The chicken sandwich was hot, well-prepared, and truly enjoyable. The chicken was tender and lightly breaded, complemented by the honey butter, honey bbq sauce, pickles, and sweet brioche bun. The Mac and cheese was deliciously cheesy, and the drink was cold and refreshing. I am definitely looking forward to coming back. I am not a big fan of many chicken sandwiches, but PDQ has made me a fan of theirs.

I think the total bill was around $30 for two entrées, a tea, and tip. The bowl has beans, tomatoes, avocado, potatoes, eggs, and cheese. It comes with a Mexican sauce and sour cream. We used a little of the sauce, as we found the dish a bit bland. Both eggs and black beans needed a little salt to enhance their flavors. While it was good, it was very soupy. The beans were not drained well, which I'm guessing--combined with the tomatoes--caused it. The lox bagel was beautiful but very hard to eat. The owners might want to consider dicing the tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers, as there's no way to eat this without deconstructing it. The salmon was good quality. Next time, I'd get a seasoned bagel instead of plain--it would probably be epic on an everything bagel. There are many other options for breakfast or lunch, and we would probably come back to try something different.

Despite that, we decided to order food and planned to sit outside to avoid the odor. We paid for our meal and then waited... and waited. The employee behind the counter was calling out order numbers, but ours was never called -- even though many customers who ordered after us received their food before we did. After standing there for quite a while, he finally asked if we needed help. I explained that we were still waiting for our order. He checked with the kitchen staff, and they responded dismissively in Spanish. We continued waiting while more orders were being called, but no one seemed to care about us or follow up. Eventually, I went back to the cashier and asked to cancel the order. He responded with irritation and said our order was canceled in a rude tone. We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant, where we received great service and excellent food. Overall, this was a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Poor service, lack of communication, and an unwelcoming atmosphere -- I would not recommend this place.
