I have to admit I get very excited when I heard that they opened up this place Margate. When I go to Wisconsin I always stop at culvers for a butter burger, their delicious custard, and at times cheese curds. Well getting cheese curds at culvers it's not recommended while in Wisconsin, it's definitely recommend in Florida. Cheese curds are great The Concrete mixers taste fine but we're far from concrete, after waiting 30 minutes in the drive through (I was only about 5 cards back) and it was no wonder why. They weren't getting any orders correct, including mine. Wrong sizes of curds, one mixer short, then they quickly made one that was the incorrect flavors. The other two were melted by the time we got them. Food is great when it's on time and correct, but service leaves much to be desired. read more

Culver's consistently excites me. I have introduced many friends to Culver's for their first time and they are always overwhelmed by the quality, cleanliness, variety and service, no to mention how wonderful it is to be able to go there with anyone and nobody is ever disappointed. Aside from the amazing delicious burgers, their homemade root beer, ice cream & custard and just about anything else you could imagine having for all hours of the day. It's like a fabulous hybrid of family restaurant and fast food establishment, somewhere right in between and never ever a disappointment. I only wish there was a much needed Culver's in Delray Beach, but honestly, it's worth the ride even though the closest Culver's is 14 miles from me there, but Delray I feel would benefit greatly from a location that's empty in Atlantic ave. Was craving ice cream, so I went to drive thru and ordered a scoop of Georgia Peach on a Waffle Cone. Aside from prompt, friendly service, the cone of ice cream was one of the best, tastiest cones I've had in a long time. Loaded with chunks of peach to the very last bite. Excellent! read more

Lately, we have been on a gourmet burger romp! And because it was the 4th of July, burgers were more than apropos for that day. So we researched places which had outstanding burger reviews. Culver's appeared on our radar. Once we saw the menu, we knew that was our destination for the day! We came at a great time, about an hour after open. The inside was nearly empty, as most people were probably at home cooking on their grills, and whatnot. Culver's has a wide variety of burgers, known as Butter Burgers [see the restaurant's website for the full story], and soups. We meant to get a soup that day, but forgot [next time]. But what they have is an even wider selection of custards. We never had custard before, and actually thought custard was a form of pie. hahaha!!! We ordered three burgers, a regular size custard [tall was available, but not listed on the menu], and fries. The team leader, Valentina was friendly and patient as we made our selections, as it was our first time there. We also asked for a custard recommendation, which she gladly provided. All in all, the total was a mere $24! Some gourmet burger spots would charge nearly that for one burger! Besides the phenomenally low prices, the other thing that fascinated us were the amusing phrases on the cup, and on each of the food wrappers. We had to take pictures and send them to people! We were compelled to do it! As good as the burgers were, the custard stole the show! Valentina stated there were like a Blizzard [Dairy Queen], but thicker. Not only that, Culver's custards have more customizable options to make them taste even better! Culver's is definitely a place we will be visiting again. We have to get a couple of those soups we missed. Not only will we be back, but for those who have never been, we strongly recommend you to pay Culver's a visit. WELCOME to Margate Culver's! Today was the ribbon cutting ceremony. The front of the store was loaded with media taking photos and people happy and smiling for them! I saw the building under construction but didnt realize they had opened 2 weeks ago. A little late but I made it here today for the double burger with cheese! What I read from reviews: The fries are tasteless...I avoided the fries...I did however get a delicious butter burger. When I first picked it up my hands got a little buttery but it wasnt overpowering oil so I was glad. The paper that comes around the burger helps to keep your hands clean while eating. My first bite got me hooked! The taste of the onions and the fresh meat and that buttery bun was like an waterfall of flavors! Overflowing with taste is how I would describe my burger! I wanted to try the cheese curds but didnt get them (trying to watch what I eat) and I love a good chocolate malted but didnt get that either. I live right down the street so I know I will be back to try those two items soon! I also read how the lines for the take out were around the building. That wasnt the case today. There were two vehicles in front of me and it didnt take long to order and get my food. The wait for this establishment was certainly worth it. I am happy they chose margate and that i live on the same street Culver's is located on. This is a refreshing addition to the other food options that have fallen short these past few months! I stopped in after filling my tank at the WaWa next door. I was curious. I had the bacon cheeseburger deluxe (yum) onion rings (really yum, thin sliced. Don't think they're frozen) and a drink. All for under $9. Could it have been better? Sure! But for the price I'll be back when I'm in the neighborhood! read more

Thank you to Roy and Julie F for posting about this place earlier today. We were already out and about and after reading Roy's review we decided to stop by. We didn't know today was the grand opening! The drive through line was impossibly long, wrapped around the parking lot and out to the street but we saw outside seating in the shade and decided to stay and eat instead. Neither of us have ever been to a Culver's so I sat outside at the table, my husband went in and ordered and I just said "surprise me". He ordered 2 of the butterburgers which are the signature item. He got the double with American cheese. Also 2 orders of fries and one onion rings. The burgers were delicious and I can't believe they were cranking out perfect burgers on Day 1. Kudos. No easy feat. Also the onion rings were terrific and crispy and just how we like them. Not the crumb style but more of a beer battered. I had no idea they also had cheese curds or I would have requested them. Next time. The place was heavily staffed and handling the crowds with amazing skill. The owner was there too, walking around chatting with everybody. They are off to a great start and the employees were super nice and patient considering how overwhelmed they must have been! We finished off with 2 concretes. Very thick ice cream shake type concoctions where you choose your mix ins. Really good. We were stuffed. I don't even want to look at food for a couple of days! Normally, after a visit to such a new place I'd have some hesitations and probably suggest you wait until they iron out the kinks. I really didn't see any kinks. Everything seems like they are really very together and organized. So don't wait! Go check it out! Also if you go in the afternoon the entire outside patio area will be totally shaded if you prefer to eat outdoors like we do. I had never heard of Culver's before until I saw it on the news. They were doing their grand opening here in South Florida. They explained that this fast food restaurant chain operates primarily in the Midwestern United States. It really got my attention their butter burgers, they seem really fresh, also their Wisconsin cheese curds. Anything that has cheese gets my attention. Well we decided to take the 37 mile drive to see what this place was about. When we got there the drive-thu lane was long and didn't move as fast, I didn't mind as I really wanted to try their food. I noticed that if you preferred dining in, you could. While waiting for the line to move, we looked at the menu on our phones, so when we got to place our order we already knew what we wanted to order. I have to say everything tasted really good, the burgers were fresh, cheese curds very good too, The only thing we didn't like was the Fresh Frozen Custard flavor of the day Chocolate, it was too sweet, we didn't eat it. I wouldn't mind driving again if I ever get any cravings for their food. We've been anxious for the Culvers in Margate to open. It was well worth the wait. The hamburgers tasted like steak burgers and were Delicious!. Fries hot and crispy, salted perfectly. The concrete mixer was yummy too. The drive thru lane wrapped around parking lot onto 441. We went inside and the wait wasnt bad at all. The staff was well trained and very friendly. Even the music piped in was wonderful, from the 70s/80s. Restaurant was clean and tables spaced for social distance. Staff wearing masks and gloves. We will definitely be back. Finally me and my husband stopped by to grab some food! Ever since we saw they were building this we couldn't wait to try it. And I think it lives up to the hype! I got the Buffalo chicken tenders and they were really good and flavorful! They had just the right amount of spice. I got them with cheese curds on the side my first thought was that they taste like mini mozzarella sticks. I think it's really cool how they bring your food to the table. Gonna give Culver's a 5 for the fast food experience.i had read about Culver's from other Yelpers and tried them out a while ago on Floridas west coast but this is the first east coast experience. They are new to our area and soooo good. The building is new, clean and bright. I went thru drive thru and ordered the mushroom Swiss burger. I wanted everything on the menu but the 780 calories got my attention so i stopped there LOL it was worth the calories. The two patties were grilled and crispy on the edges with the right amount of mushrooms and cheese. The bun was fresh and buttery flavored and the middle bread was thin and crispy. It satisfied my burger craving. I especially like the way they handle the pick up. After ordering they place a sticky note on your side mirror. You pull up and park. After a few minutes, they come out to your car with a cute brown paper bag and serve up your order fresh and hot! I will go back for the rest of the menu.. Super excited to have a Culver's near home! Their shakes and burgers are good. I love the made to order style. I wish they had more seafood options or veggie options but you cant expect too much from a burger joint. The wait was not too long even though they have only been open about a week at this location. I am sure they will move a little faster once they get into their groove. The staff at the window were pleasant and made me feel like they were happy to be there. I was so excited when I saw that a Culver's location opened in my area. Although, they've been open for a while, I thought it was early enough for me to give you guys a take on my experience. Going in, there was a good amount of seating outside and the dining area was pretty big inside too with people social distancing and wearing masks. I ordered 2 deluxe butter cheeseburger baskets with the works (lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, ketchup, mayo) and a single butter cheeseburger. These also came with one side and a drink each (we did one fry, one cheese curd, a soda, and substituted one of the sodas for a vanilla shake). All together, this came out to a hefty price of $25 and change. Moving forward with tonight's pros; I enjoyed that this place cooked the burgers to your own personal liking, the cheese curds I found were tasty and reminded me of mini mozzarella steaks, the condiments tasted fresh, and the butter burgers came out buttery but slightly greasy. As with my cons for tonight, I found that the fries ordered were kind of bland, was disappointed with my shake as it had tasted like it came from Wendy's (not a authentic burger ice cream shop milkshake), and felt the burgers were good, but didn't stand out among other burger joints. Overall, Culver's is a good American burger chain with many typical classic items. I'd recommend y'all at least give it a try once and comment on what you think. *** If there is one thing I can suggest, I think my burger would've been better if my buns were more toasted. read more

Sadly, I live at least 3 states away from the closest Culver's location but enjoy stopping off at one whenever my travels take me into their territory. Today I had lunch at their restaurant in Margate, FL. Dare I say that Culver's is the epitome of classy fast food: courteous and respectful employees; tasty burgers made with good ingredients; onion rings that started their journey in the fat, middle section of an onion; soda that has the correct amount of carbonation; and delicious frozen custard. You can tell that Culver's and its franchisees are proud of their establishment as the name of the owner/operator, Eric Pierce, is displayed on a placard on the side of the building by the drive-through (and also on the web page for this location). Mr. Pierce and his management team must make good business and hiring decisions because, as far as I can tell, it must be difficult to find younger workers that are happy or thankful to be serving customers, at least in the northeast where I call home. My Concrete Mixer (vanilla custard with brownie chunks and whole pecans) was primo but started to melt too soon. I should have ordered it after I had finished my lunch (with the windows down in 82-degree weather)--that was my mistake, not theirs, but no one will fault you for giving this place a try! read more

This is the second time I went inside to order, and I will never order inside again. There was total pandemonium at the counter and in the kitchen. We placed out orders and were given plastic signs with numbers. After 15 minutes waiting at a table, I went back to the counter where a dozen other people were getting very frustrated. I asked if they had forgotten about me, but they assured me they hadn't. After another 10 minutes of waiting for my 'fast food', I asked again. Someone asked the kitchen about my order, but the kitchen said they didn't have it. So they had to print the ticket again! People were getting very upset. Some counter people were trying to figure out how to use the register. Other counter people were socializing with customer friends. Most employees seemed to be wandering around doing who-know-what. They kept offering frozen custard while we waited, but we kept saying we were waiting for food. The walleye fish dinner was awful - super thick batter dripping with oil, and the fish was very fishy. And then I made the mistake of going back in to order our cones. Another fifteen minutes, even with me asking every few minutes. A close friend suggested that we visit this place when leaving Parkland, Fl. for ice cream. He explained how good Culver's was. Guess what? He was spot on right. They offer butter burgers that seem to be the real crowd pleaser. I had their ice cream and left wanting to repeat the experience. Their motto is "discover delicious" and I have to admit it's extremely accurate. I have been looking forward to the opening for a long long time. They did not disappoint (even though there are some kinks). However, I didn't take off any stars because they are brand new. The drive up line wasn't too bad and went by quick. We parked in the lot to eat and to my surprise the chicken sandwich had no top bun. It was a hilarious situation. I went inside and it immediately got corrected. There also were no napkins or sauces in the bag. I'm sure after a few more weeks these issues will no longer exist. I'm going to start by saying that my family has been waiting for Culver's to be open! The menu is huge so you're going to need some time to read over everything and really pick out what you want to try. Also, I highly recommend to come with others so everyone gets something different to try all their options. Let's start with the Butter Bun Burger, so delicious and tasted fresh. The Onion Rings, has the best crunch and not greasy. The Cheese Curds, I have no idea what cheese they are using but these curbs weren't greasy at all like Luther curbs I've had. The only thing I wish came with them was some kind of dipping sauce because these curbs deserve a sauce side kick. Want to try something with a little kick? Highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Sandwich because the minute you take your first bite, the spice kicks you right in the cheeks. But let's be honest, the only reason I really came here was for their custard! They have a different "Custard of the Day" and I got lucky to come on their cookie dough day. It was so creamy and fudgy that I wish I would have gotten two scoops just to enjoy it longer. Since being here once, my boyfriend just wants it everyday and that says a lot because he isn't a "fast food" individual. The pot roast is tender flavorful and is outstanding. The cod fish is tasty. They were served as dinners too in the beginning. The chili was horrible, dry thickened, there were no discernible onions, bell peppers or celery. I would have taken the chili back, however due to the distance from my residence and not feeling well, I was not up to calling. I tried to make the large size I purchased more palatable but ended up throwing the chili in the trash.. What I received looked nothing like the advertised picture. I was truly disappointed. Burger seemed like it was cooked and sat for a while. Definitely not made to order. At that point, I should have gone to Wendy's. Because their burgers taste like they have sat for a while. The fry's were not so bad but not like they were the last time I was there. Maybe just a bad show or I am TOO picky. The soft drink machine is not calibrated correctly. Meaning the cola syrup is not properly mixed with the carbonated water. I tried 2 flavors. Both have more carbonated water and less syrup. The taste IS unbalanced. I tried to order a double with toppings. The person taking the order changed the order to a deluxe minus tomato. It became a circus to get the order correct. Why not just take the customers order and be done. Why the person couldn't listen and wanted to order for themselves is in the realm of bizarre.
