This place started out awesome. Stopped by today for a burger and was amazed by how quickly it has fallen apart. Waited 20mins until I finally went up and asked how much longer. The kid behind the counter was great and got right on it. Finally after 25mins I got my cold burger and cold fries. Service aside the place was dirty. The bathroom was falling apart, the floors were sticky, the condiment counter was filthy with trash and completely out of ketchup. Delicious food!!!! I pulled up to the restaurant with my 4 year old and saw the drive thru line was wrapping around the building. Not feeling like waiting forever it in knowing he needed to stretch his legs some I decided to go inside. Never again!!! Ordering my food was a breeze as it was only one person in front of me and only one person waiting for food. 30 mins later(32 to be exact) the guy finally brought my food out. It took forever but between my son and I playing and others complaining, I managed. The only issue with service, I ordered 2 small vanilla ice cream cups and a strawberry concrete. Well I got 3 vanilla ice creams. I went back to have it corrected and the guy told me that I must have ordered 3 vanilla ice creams(as though the cashier couldnt have made a mistake). His way of fixing it was to give me a cup of strawberries and let me know that all you have to do is mix them in. This was the point I had a quick conversation with God only to be reminded that my son was standing by my side looking up at my every action. 1st thought, snatch him from behind the counter. There are a few times in life when I stupidly return to a business several times hoping they will improve. This is one (the LAST one) of those times. I have never had a good experience at this location because of always having to wait excessive amounts of time for my food. It's been about 2 years now and I accept the fact that I am a fool. The drive through is mostly to blame because it's deceptive. If it looks too long then no one would get in line. Here is where the adventure in wastes time begins. They have it set up so that after you pay, you are given a sticky note for your side mirror with a number on it and told to drive around to the last trash can. Which for me not only means I'm waiting longer, but now I'm parked NEXT TO A TRASH CAN WITH ROTTING FOOD IN IT. Gross if you ask me. So now the waiting begins. I've had a 47 minute wait, a 32 minute wait, a 15 minute wait, and todays wait of 7 minutes in the sun was the last wait I will ever have here because I'm never going back. Don't get me wrong, the food is good and the frozen Custard is only outdone by Andy's on Rea Rd. It's the cluelessness of the staff and the wait that I can't tolerate. Today as I waited for 1 scoop of frozen custard (I figured it couldn't take more than 3 minutes- WRONG) the manager came out with a bag, didn't look at my sticky note number and asked what I had ordered. Are there no matching numbers on these bags? What is going on here Mr Manager? Why does it take 7 minutes to get 1 scoop of custard? Why do you make cars pull around the front of the store to sit by a trash can, spewing exhaust fumes for your patio customers to smell and breathe in? These customers are are presumably trying to eat! They probably are also not enjoying me watch them from my car either. No matter, I won't be back. But don't say I haven't warned you when you're stuck in line for 30 minutes, next to a trash can with flies, watching Jim and Alice eating their meal. read more

First of all, this place is way overpriced. We've been a few times now but will never go back. Ordered through the drive thru & was told they were out of bananas for a banana fudge malt. They were out of bananas last time too. I told them I had a great idea...since they share a parking lot with a grocery store, why don't you go buy bananas when you notice you're low? They kinda laughed but whatever, they weren't about to do that. At any rate, the order was wrong when we got it home & it was too much of a hassle to go back. I had heard good things about Culver's Butter Burger and found that there is a location near me in Indian Trail, NC. I drove over and arrived at about 11:30am to go in for lunch. The doors were locked. No signs about being drive thru only. I almost left since I didn't want to eat in my car. I finally decided to go thru the drive thru and ordered a CB DBL Bsk with FRY and COCA-COLA. I paid $10.98 received my Coke and drove around. I was assigned Guest #13, a bad sign. I sipped the Coke and it didn't taste right. I think it may have been a diet Coke. After I received my bag of food I drove to the parking area to eat and had no fries OR napkins. The burger was OK, but not what I expected. I think the receipt with the food says something about a free cone with my next purchase, but the print is so light I can't read how that happens. Very unimpressed with Culver's at this point. This was my first time and likely my last. read more

I just experienced the worst customer service ever and will not be back. I just went through the drive thru and ordered a burger with onion rings. When they brought my order out it had fries, and I stated that I ordered onion rings. The young lady apologized and said she would go get the onion rings. She returned and told me that I had to go back through the drive thru and pay for the onion rings. I gave the burger and fries back and asked for my money back. Why should I have to pay extra for the mistake that the employee made. What is crazy about this is they rather take the burger and fries back which they had to throw away and loose a customer than to give me what I ordered. My family had visited Culver's in Indian Trail, NC on Friday 07/16/2021. Ordered food on the mobile app & received confirmation by e-mail that the order was received and would be ready in 7 minutes. Confirmed that they were waiting at the restaurant through email/phone twice. Parked in the mobile order parking space and over 30 minutes later still no food. My daughter called in & they said "are you here"! She told the individual that she was talking to that she had confirmed twice that they were and the employee said what name is the order under. She gave them the name and the employee replied that "yes the order has been sitting here ready for a while now"! When they brought the order out my wife then checked the temperature of the food as it had been quite a while since it was ordered and it was all cold. The employee said do you want us to remake it and she said yes! Just a few seconds later the manager came out and claimed that the food had just been put on the "hot plate"! That was a lie because the employee had even told her it had been sitting there for a while. She told the manager to fell the food and fries and verify it was cold and he refused, He then told her he would remake the food and a couple of minutes the OWNER cam out and said "we're NOT remaking the food and if you want a refund you have to come inside"!!! The owner of this Culver's is a complete douche bag and we will never visit this location again! Other Culver's employees were understanding and had no problem other than the initial issue with the manager. called in and ordered carry out 2 meals and curds. the person on the phone needed help multiple times to take the order. fries great ordered extra lettuce on burger barely any lettuce but flavor was very good. there were no curds in the bag and when i called it seemed to take for ever to get the approval to come in to get them. before i hung up i was told that they'd have it ready when i got there. 10 minute drive back and when i got there they yelled in the back to make the curds. placed in a bag and handed to me with no apology for their mistake. all in all good tasting food but unimpressed to the staff read more
