Hamburgers were great. Service was great. My root beer float was a disappointment. Next time I will stick to milk shakes.

So happy to see my midwest (WI/UT) stapel! Delicious organic fast food at it's finest. Some of my favorires are the Mushroom and Swiss and after today's visit, the Crispy Chicken sandwhich. Most items come with a basic set up that you can customize, so I had lettuce and red onion on my sandwhich. Per usual, it came out hot and delicious!!!...... And of course...I had to get the cheese curds, because well, fried cheese is always an option for me! The onion rings are a close favorite (beer battered are always my go to) and if you like crinkle cut fries, they have them too ;) Great option for fresh fast food! read more

Not even joking - every single time I've ordered here (I always order bacon because well because it's bacon.) I get my burger and the bacon is missing. I ate at Culver's locations up north so I was excited when they opened one here and the local owners didn't disappoint. The food is always delicious and correct. The times I've gone the restaurant is always clean and the staff is very prompt and nice. The cheese curds are awesome as are the butter burgers. Each time has been excellent! read more

Pretty good meal. Based on our experience I'd say it's kind of like Chick-fil-a, but burgers! We had very friendly service, got our food very quickly and enjoyed our meal. We aren't out In Grovetown very often, really ever.... but we agreed we'd go here again. We both had butter burgers and fries, and split a cookies and cream custard. I thought the burger was very good. Fries weren't spectacular, but solid. We were here kinda late on Friday, so it wasn't busy. I'd say if you are in the area it's worth a try! read more

The quality and quantity of food at Culver's is unmatched anywhere else in Grovetown. Amazingly, Culver's also provides such a variety of foods beyond their butterburgers, including fish and roast beef and chicken. I came here the 2nd day they opened but I wanted to be fair because I know when you open a food service place it's insane! So I wanted to wait at least a week. We went in Friday night around 7 p.m. and the drive thru was wrapped around the building and the parking lot was full. AS we walked inside the line was to the entrance door and people with number tags were standing for there waiting for their carryout orders.@ minutes went by and our order was taken. I ordered the pot roast sandwich combo with mashed potatoes as my side and a drink. M friend had the double mushroom burger with fries and drink. Total was almost 20 bucks . I met the owner and we talked for a few minutes and he said he was sorry for the slow service and it will improve and offered us some custard samples. The samples were good and asked if we were ordering any I replied no and told next time. No problems with the food kind of pricey for your portions but good meat and roast beef and the mashed potatoes were on point.Would be nice to do a Yelp tour when things get normal. A happy hour would be great like everyone else from 2-5 p,m, to get people to sample more items on the menu at a discounted price. read more

So today is he first day that Culver's is opened in Augusta. This place is known all over Wisconsin for their butter burgers and custard. The crowd is huge, and I think that they are doing a great job in trying to get everyone their order. Since it's shiny and new, everyone in Augusta is here trying to check out this Wisconsin transplant. They have. Multiple cashier front who re ready to take your order, I suggest that you study the menu beforehand since it is very extensive. They have something for everyone. I got the deluxe burger with fries. I also ordered cheese curds (native to Wisconsin) on the side, and got a butter pecan custard since it was the flavor of the day, and happens to be my favorite flavor ice cream. Once you order, they hand you a numbered placard and tell you to put it on the side of your table and that your food will be out to you. You then go grab your drink and find a seat. Since it is opening day seating during lunch was hard to find. The drive-thru was packed which made it hard to enter. Luckily folks were leaving so instead of hitting the drive-thru I just pulled into a spot. I'm so excited. So I just tried everything and I like it. Everything I got was fresh. The burger was nice and juicy. It was the first time I had cheese curds. Reminds me of mini mozzarella sticks. I also think that it's pretty awesome that the Tabor family who brought the chain down here to Augusta we're here to help out. Making sure today was a success. They even came around talking to the customers and one Tabor gave me the number to the establishment when I asked. Okay, back to eating my food!! Oh and they offer 10% military discount. The food here is average, but the frozen custard is delicious. There are so many flavors, and the restaurant provides a calender with each flavor of the flavor. When fall came, I loved the pumpkin gingerbread frozen custard I ate. read more

Nice environment, great custards, and good cheese curds. My biggest problem is that every time I have gotten the cheese curds they have not had the marinara sauce. Maybe they have been out each time or maybe they just don't have it, but if you have ever been to one up north you ALWAYS get the marinara with the curds. The seafood options are ok and the burgers are good. Other than the custards, nothing I have had here has been something to convince me to return...maybe if they had the marinara. read more

I've been to Culver's in the past and I don't remember their burger being so skimp and thin on the beef. I was not happy with this experience on the burger, however, I did enjoy their cheese curds. I'll update my review again but I will only probably go back for their shakes and curds. read more

I love the cod fish dinners...always hot and made fresh to order but I have never been able to get a hot burger from there even when I special request one. They say they are made to order but I am never satisfied with the warm to lukewarm burgers. read more

We decided to try the new Culver's... Unbelievable! I ordered the bacon deluxe on my first and last trip here. There was no flavor other than mustard. I could see the cooked ground beef, the lettuce, the tomato, the cheese. But there was no flavor St all. It was pure sustinence, no enjoyment. My wife ordered her food, and had to send it back TWICE. It's a burger joint, for Pete's sake. The manager offered her a free custard for the inconvenience,and actually said that she could get it "On your way out"... I've been to Culver's many times in other states, and was excited to see them come to the Augusta area...unfortunately I've been there 3 times and have had bad experiences every time! First night, had to stalk tables since it was so busy and wound up splitting our group into two...one of my dinner companions found a long hair in her cheeseburger... next visit, the family next to me pulled a piece of a wire brush that's used for cleaning the grill out of their food... last time, my custard tasted like bleach!! I'm guessing they used a cleaning rag on the custard machine but didn't thoroughly wash away that bleach... won't be going back! read more

I've tried this place several times and it never disappoints. its a good burger joint, with all the trimmings, nice and clean. i love that you order your food and go find a seat. they come find you with the meal when its ready and people walk around and assist. its always busy. the frozen treat was good too. My girlfriend and I tried 3 different fried items and were surprised they were all hot and cooked perfectly. try the cheese curd's i think they are called, they are a tasty snack. This was my first time here. Not as impressed as I thought I would be after hearing from people. I went through the drive-thru and ordered. I said I didn't want mustard and pickles and she said you have to say what you want on the burger. So without thinking I said just ketchup. I didn't think to tell her that I also wanted lettuce and tomato and onion. That was my fault. I ordered cheese curds for my side, I have never had them before. They were actually pretty good. The coating is a bit thick so the smaller pieces just kind of get lost in the breading. But the larger pieces are really good. They were piping hot and had a chewy texture to them that was nice. They don't pull apart like mozzarella sticks , they are a bit more dense. The burger was not that great. It was dry and very thin. It seemed like fresh meat that was pressed down on the flat top as it cooked. It had a nice crust but was not juicy at all. I think that's why they put butter on the bun to try to make it juicier. I may come back to check out something else but I don't think I'll go for the burgers again. read more

My husband and I used to really enjoy eating at Culver's when we lived in MO. We intended to eat lunch there today but decided that the owner really couldn't care less about the customers. We went in and there was already a big line forming. We were deciding what we wanted, and my husband grabbed my hand and said, "Let's go". I trust his judgement and we think the same way when it comes to fast food service. I asked him what was up and he told me that in spite of the long line, he looked at the manager and the manager just kinda looked up and then went back to what he was doing. We agree, he could have either, gone to the counter to help, or called someone else up if he was busy. The food is ok, you can tell they use fresh meat but it wasn't anything I would write home about. The food takes longer to get because it is cooked when you order which is nice as long as you have time. I think the items on the menu are a bit overpriced for what it is though. read more
