Nice restaurant to eat some american dish. They have burgers, cod fish, chicken tenders. Been here many times and always love to eat new item in their menu. Nice and clean place.

Receipt

Food was absolutely horrendous... but I was extremely impressed with their receipt paper, wonderfully high quality and great texture!!!

Super disappointed with this place, half of my order was missing. I ordered medium fried. Literally they gave me like six french fries.

Just a note that if you are dying for a turtle sundae or a butter burger you can now get one in Elmhurst on York road by Thornton's. Today at 10 am they are having their grand opening. The ribbon cutting ceremony is at 9:30 am . The end of the day found me thinking, why not stop for dinner at Culver's . It's only 2 doors down from me. A word of warning the parking lot can be a hazard to your sanity. There is only one way in and one way out and you share that with the drive through people. As I approached, on foot by the way, traffic was snarled in all directions. This will always be a problem during peak periods. The service inside is really moving, nice to see in a new establishment. In fact it almost seemed like there were as many workers as patrons. I ordered the classic double cheeseburger, pretzel bites, cheese curds and a soft drink. The burger is made up of two thin patties, they are crisp and covered with a nice piece of lettuce, cheese, tomato and a slice of pickle for some reason crowning the bun. I was impressed by the slice of red onion. The bun was soft yet did not fall apart as many do these days. Think about the Big Mac, it looks so nice in the advertisements, yet when you open the box it's a mess. When you try to pick it up it slides apart in all directions. All in all, a very nice burger for a fast food chain. I have heard a lot about the cheese curds and I was wishing there was a microwave available to blast them. The outsides were crisp but the centers were cold. The pretzel bites were surprisingly good, not great. When I left I picked up two sundaes to go. They were a step up from Dairy Queen's. My whole bill was $26, not bad for two people. Rainbow Cafe is 4 blocks away and I could have had a sit down meal of my choice with soup or salad, entree and desert for that price. Culver's has its place, food on the run! As my brother always says "a guys gotta eat".

Much improved since my last review when they opened. Great fish fry and mushroom burger. It's kind of pricy for takeout.

Terrible. Inconsistent. You are better off going a few doors down to Arby's. They can't even get a two ingredient "mixer" right.

Horrible. Fries were still raw and cold. Service is incredibly slow. Save your money and go to the one in Lombard instead.

What a delectable little ice cream shop! (I shouldn't say little, it's definitely medium-sized, but…read moreyou catch my drift) Kimmer's is such a cute pink ice cream shop, with classic black and white tile flooring for that old timey feel. It doesn't get more local than them. With a plethora of unique ice cream flavors to pints to bring home to, they really have got all an ice cream shop needs. I especially love their Parent Trap flavor which is cookies 'n cream with peanut butter. I love that you can add toppings too like sprinkles, m&ms, chocolate chips, and much more. It's all super customizable. They also have some gluten free and dairy options which is nice. The staff has always been super friendly; it's usually a younger crowd of workers who are very personable and sweet. I always feel welcomed walking in. I've been to their Wheaton location which is a hit, too, and I do really love this Elmhurst location nestled in downtown Elmhurst. They also have unique daily specials which I saw in-store like their sparkly Wednesdays where you receive a free sparkle cone upgrade if you wear sparkly clothing. On Mondays you get double punched on your loyalty punch cards for scoops only. Super fun! You already know I'll be back. What a great ice cream shop!

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams - Three scoops

As soon as you step into Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, you're hit--no, hugged--by the intoxicating…read morearoma of freshly made waffle cones and sugary goodness. It's like walking into a dessert dream. The air is thick with nostalgia, the kind that instantly transports you to carefree summer days and childhood joy. I ordered the waffle cone bowl with two scoops: Darkest Chocolate and Salty Caramel and let me tell you, this duo is nothing short of divine. The Darkest Chocolate is no ordinary chocolate. It's rich, bold, and almost sinful in its depth, think melted chocolate bars and midnight cocoa stirred into velvet. The texture? Silky and dense, like a frozen truffle that melts on your tongue with a whisper of bitterness that balances the sweet. Now the Salty Caramel, this was the real surprise. Buttery, golden, and complex, it hits your palate in waves: first sweet and creamy, then a punch of sea salt that makes your taste buds sit up and pay attention. The caramel is clearly slow-cooked, giving it that deep, toasty flavor with hints of vanilla and brown sugar. The waffle cone bowl was warm, crisp, and laced with cinnamon, adding just the right crunch to contrast the creaminess. The combination of hot and cold, sweet and salty, smooth and crisp was perfect. Every bite was a revelation, and I found myself closing my eyes just to savor the moment. My personal takeaway? If you're looking for more than dessert, if you want an experience this is the place. Do yourself a favor and get the waffle cone bowl. And don't be afraid to mix bold flavors. Trust me, your inner child (and your adult self) will thank you.

I love how they're lightly breaded, but you can still taste how well cooked the chicken is. Additionally, there's an assortment of sauces to choose from. We also got the dirty sodas, and we love how much customization there is; there's also a soda fountain to top of any more soda or drinks you want. Lastly, we got the Nashville wrap, and it was pretty tasty but small for the price. The service was top notch since you get to order at the kiosk or cashier; additionally, they serve you free ice cream at the end. I also went to the bathroom, and the crew member was cleaning it and was very kind and apologetic for making me wait only a minute. The ambiance was very bright and welcoming. There was a lot of seating, and I liked how there's a parking lot as well. I would definitely come back again for the dirty soda combinations and the chicken!

They were crunchy on the outside and potatoey on the inside. The chicken was moist and crunchy, too. We both had fountain drinks. My only complaint is that I got iced tea and there's no sweet and low in the store. Bummer. Oh one more. It's so cold in here. I ate with my coat on and still had freezing hands. But I still got a soft serve cone. Yummy!!
