Disclaimer: I don't like MOST restaurant style Mac n Cheese so this is a very unusual order for me - and it makes me slightly biased in a slightly bad way... but for what it's worth, the flavor was great! It had a wonderful spicy kick! But you have to eat it quickly... maybe that's my issue- I don't like to eat fast. Anyways, it was good "adult" Mac and Cheese but given another option I would have taken it for sure. Hubs had the Regular Cheeseburger with a pretzel bun since they were out of the regular buns and toast options. He didn't mind as pretzel buns are his absolute favorite. He noted that the cheeseburger was excellent. Cooked well. Not overly greasy. Not too big, not too small. All the condiments were included. He had no complaints. His side: tater tots, which were cooked to golden perfection. For our appetizer we opted for the spicy cheese curds. They were super tasty! The menu has tons of options as far as burgers, Mac n cheese, sandwiches, and appetizers. There are some salad options and chicken strips too. There is also a kid menu. The service was very quick! Overall the burger was good and pretty big. I believe each patties are 1/3 lbs. Not sure why anybody would goto a fast food joint when you have such a wonderful burger spot for cheaper than a mcdonald's meal. She failed to provide basic necessities, including water, silverware, napkins, coffee creamer, and straws for our children's drinks. Despite multiple attempts to get her attention, she repeatedly ignored us. We had to flag down other servers several times just to request coffee, retrieve our own silverware, and ultimately involve a manager in order to get water for the table. Even after speaking with the manager, many of these issues remained unresolved. What was particularly concerning was that our server began bringing water, napkins, and coffee creamer to surrounding tables while continuing to ignore ours. Whether intentional or not, it appeared unprofessional and felt retaliatory after we raised our concerns. To make matters worse, we waited approximately an hour for our food and still had not received it. We eventually had to go to the to-go counter and request that our order be packaged so we could leave. After all of these issues, the only compensation offered was $5 off our bill. We also did not receive the Father's Day coupon that was being distributed to other tables. The manager's response did little to address the situation. Rather than resolving the service issues, we were simply told that we would not have the same server if we returned in the future. We understand that holidays are busy and that mistakes happen. However, being ignored for the duration of our meal, having to repeatedly seek assistance from other staff members, and ultimately leaving without receiving proper service made for an extremely frustrating Father's Day experience. As long-time customers, we expected much better. What left us most upset was not the missing items or even the long wait for food--it was the feeling that our table was being deliberately ignored. After we involved the manager, our server suddenly began providing attentive service to every surrounding table while continuing to overlook ours. As customers who have supported Jimmy's Egg for years, this felt insulting. We should not have had to repeatedly ask other employees for basic necessities while watching nearby tables receive prompt service. The lack of any meaningful effort to correct the situation only added to that feeling. Rather than feeling valued as long-time customers, we left feeling dismissed, disrespected, and as though our concerns were not taken seriously.
