Walked in and saw the please wait to be seated sign, everyone (workers) stared and no one even said hello or gave a greeting as I patiently waited as if I came in for something else. Come to find out the kids were one of the workers kids...running around and screaming in the restaurant. Finally got my food and horrible, the mash potatoes were watery as if it had been boxed. The salad had frozen vegetables (tomatoes and cucumbers) based on the water in the salad. My drink came after I ate and the waitress apologized for it. Mannnnnn!!! I visited here for lunch with a friend and to my surprise they automatically add 18% gratuity to my bill. It doesn't matter how many people are with you. The food was pretty good. I learned a valuable lesson because my receipt was not shown to me. I received a text with the total on it after I paid. I actually double tipped her because I did not get a hard copy or know that the gratuity was included. Moving forward I don't care if I go to the gas station I want a receipt from the pump and the cashier!! . Really this has taught me to stay my behind home and cook, then I won't be blindsided out my money! Or as soon as I walk in the door ask what is gratuity and if gratuity is automatically included no matter the party size. Oh oh oh, let me not forget that if they have a band or some kind of entertainment there will be an additional cover to your bill!!! Well I hope this helps. It appears nice from the outside but there was food on the sidewalk which was gross. Inside seemed nice until we got this RBF hostess to seat us and said Yay would be serving us this evening. Yay then came back with plastic utensils in a bag. Wow so y'all don't have real silverware??!! What ever maybe they are on a budget. Our stuffing was supposed to come with gravy and it didn't. I had to ask for it. I also asked for Tabasco she brings back Louisiana. Yay said this what folks called Tabasco. I tried to explain that Tabasco was Tabasco she's like the kind you get at Chipotle. I'm saying to myself lady I don't eat at places like that I don't know what they serve over there. I told her forget it. It took us a good 10 mins to get the gravy to go with the stuffing and that came cold. Everything was tasty the cornbread muffin was hard as a rock. We may come back just for the food as a takeout but the not a good ambiance for the price they charge and tasty food they serve. Staff is very important as well in this business. Me and my son decided to stop my Culturistic Kitchen for dinner today, 10/01/2024 and it was a complete waste on our time. The "only" service we encountered was from the hostess at the front door. We were seated and that was absolutely all was done. We waited 45 minutes and NOBODY came to the table to speak, take a drink or food order. We just sat there waiting until I decided I REFUSE to give my money to a restaurant that DO NOT attempt to take it. Damn, just close your business if you don't want to serve. This is my third time coming to this restaurant and the food is amazing, but damn do better with your employees or hire more. If you don't have enough people to work, close! Many items were not available because "they didn't go shopping." "Mac and cheese" was Kraft, baked with a layer of cheese on top and microwaved. Wings were not fresh. Salmon was dry. Pork chop inedible. Beers were unavailable. Salad was literally brown and rotting on the plate. It's a Sunday night and they are blasting music with a DJ....we came to celebrate a christening. I didn't like that they include a tip automatically but then your waitress explains that they have to split that with everyone we felt obligated to tip more because she was sweet. I personally don't like feeling obligated to give more just because I really liked one person. Especially when I liked the waitress more than the food.
