I am not sure who "Danny" is that works there, but he embarrassed my sweet Grandma so unacceptably on multiple occasions, I would be surprised if she ever felt comfortable or safe using their services again. He tried to take advantage of her by quoting her over $800 for a $250 auto part. When she tried to question it and advocate for herself, he put her on blast and argued with her, causing a scene in front of multiple other customers. Now, I don't typically give negative reviews, I love supporting local businesses, but when I hear that an innocent person was taken advantage of by a supposedly "specialized professional", I find it severely disconcerting. We are supposed to be able to trust these individuals to take care of our loved ones by providing the best care possible for their automobiles and make them safe and reliable to drive. At the very least, I would have expected my Grandma to have been treated respectfully and professionally. I was shocked to hear otherwise. I won't encourage others to avoid this business just because my Grandma was victimized by a single employee, but I do hope that a certain level of accountability will be maintained within their staff moving forward.

Anyone who owns an older Range Rover knows: a single windshield wiper costs a kidney, and a dashboard light turning on is basically a threat. I've genuinely considered parking it in the sketchiest neighborhood I could find, keys in the ignition, doors wide open... but let's be honest, even then no one would steal it. This car has more red flags than a toxic ex. Anyways, I recently hit a deer (RIP to that poor creature - it didn't stand a chance), and the dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree. My usual mechanic tried his best for two months before admitting defeat. So back to Google I went... and that's when I found FXBG Euros. Every review was glowing. People swore these guys could resurrect imports from the dead. I called and spoke to Paris, the owner, who was immediately kind, calm, and confident. He told me to tow it in, and he'd take a look. My Rover ended up having an extended vacation at FXBG Euros, and honestly? It was worth every minute. One of the biggest issues was the starting module - a $9k part. I told him I didn't care if he used popsicle sticks and superglue - just make it run and don't make me need to sell an organ on the black market. Paris, being the mechanical MacGyver he is, engineered a workaround that saved me thousands. This is what makes Paris special: he works with you. He finds creative, cost saving solutions instead of insisting on the most expensive fix. He'll source parts for you, or he'll happily use the ones you bring in (with the reasonable disclaimer that if your bargain-bin part fails, that's on you). Mechanics like this are rare. He doesn't upsell and doesn't say "he can't do it." He invents solutions. He knows "set it on fire" isn't a real repair strategy. Most importantly, he treats you like a human being, not a walking invoice. And his whole team is just as wonderful. He even gave me a list of "things that will probably betray you next," including the alternator - which, of course, died a week later. My Rover is like my ex who broke down every time I thought things were finally good. If your car is the reason you have trust issues and a tow truck membership and makes you question your life choices...take it to Paris. He is the reason my Rover isn't at the bottom of the Potomac right now and I trust him completely. Oh, and one more thing: FXBG Euros has a bunch of adorable stray cats that hang around the shop. Bring a small bag of dry food when you go. It's good karma, and those little fluff goblins are part of the charm. FXBG Euros is the real deal. Paris is a miracle worker. I first made contact with Crown Auto when my vehicle developed an interior cabin leak. The owner suggested it may be due to a clogged sunroof drain tube which he cleared using an air pump at no charge. Granted, the process took less than 5 minutes. So when I took my vehicle to AAA car care in Fredericksburg for an inspection only to receive a quote for $1,970 in repairs, I returned to Crown Auto with the expectation that not only would it would cost less, but that I was dealing with a honest and trusted business. Boy! Was I in for a rude awakening!!! Crown Auto initially charged me $1,700 for LESS THAN HALF of the expensive repairs AAA was going to do. AAA was going to replace the two front headlights ($985), spark plugs, front and rear engine mount, a missing exhaust bolt, brake system service, and a 1 year alignment warranty. I only had Crown Auto work on the front and rear exhaust mount, exhaust bolt, and brake system service. Crown Auto kept my vehicle overnight even though the work took less than 2 hours (I took my vehicle in at 12PM, Crown Auto called me around 4PM with a quote. Crown Auto said nothing about keeping my vehicle overnight! When I did not hear from them at 5PM, I called and it went to voicemail, so I left a message. When I called again around 11AM then next day since no one bothered to return my call, I was told that my vehicle was ready). Crown Auto charged me $830 for 2 hours of labor and $100 in shop fees. AAA's shop fees were only $40 and labor cost was $1,150 even though AAA would have spent 2 hours or more replacing just the headlights. Added to all of this, Crown Auto is no AAA in terms of environment, amenities and location.

Meth kit - has no leaks works fine, wired to a fuse that has power even when car is off. Drains battery if not turned off with the car. Front splitter was missing bolts even with hardware provided only hanging on from canards. Splitter was flapping at 100+; destroyed my $1,100 splitter and $250 front grill. Was told my front accessory drive bolts were loose - they were not I torqued to spec. They proceeded to hit all the bolts with an impact, breaking my AC compressor bolt which the belt pulled the AC line towards my header. Cost $1,300 to take to another shop to get fixed. Crank seal was replaced with incorrect crank seal for the Innovators West Balancer. Which then leaked oil under boost / left a puddle of oil under the car when turned off. Do not take your performance car here. I have other friends in the car industry that have been screwed over by these guys.
