I felt compelled to share how much care and courtesy their team member, Nelson, showed me during two separate car issues. My elderly parents live in Culpeper, and I visit them every weekend. The first time we met Nelson, our car needed air. My husband and I went to three different gas stations (including the nearby 7-Eleven) and none of the pumps worked. We pulled into Car Doctor, and Nelson kindly drove our car into the garage to fill the tires. He completely refused to take any money for it. Just a few weeks later on a Friday after 5:00 PM, I was driving into town when I heard a loud pop followed by a heavy humming noise. A plastic panel on the bottom of my Prius had broken off and was dragging on the road. Even though the technicians had already gone home for the weekend, Nelson was still there. He immediately identified the problem, pulled the car in, and cut off the broken piece to create a safe, short-term fix. Once again, he refused to take a single dime! Just when I was losing faith in humanity, an honest, kind, and caring person like Nelson reminded me that great people still exist. This is small-town community care at its absolute best. While I was there, I also noticed the shop area was completely immaculate. I will definitely be bringing both my car and my parents' car here for all future services. That being said the way this business was run didn't change for the first 6 years I went there and I doubt it has in the last 3. Tom and the other guys that work there are very helpful and honest. I always felt like they gave a good price and explained exactly what they were doing to my car. I really appreciate when my mechanic tells me: "A and B need to be fixed immediately, C should be fixed but will be fine for at least another 3 months and D will make your car run a little smoother but isn't hurting anything and may not be worth $$$." This was the straight forward approach I always got at Tom's and I highly recommend this place.

Weeks ago Northern VA got single digit artic temperatures and I had the oddest reoccurring malfunction. The passenger side window was rolling down by itself numerous times. A total of 4 times. First 2 times I pulled over and was able to get the windows up briefly. The 3rd time happened after I parked and went inside to do house chores and had a gut feeling to check my passenger window, which ended up rolling down by itself after I had parked and shut down my car. I then went to my local dealership and told them the problem. They initially told me to wait over the weekend because it was going to warm up above freezing and above 3°F. On my way home from the dealership the passenger window came down again and would not go back up. So I returned to dealership and they addressed it. The dealer noticed I had repairs done on my passenger side and was initially brainstorming that something might not have been repaired properly at the body shop. They where left speechless when I told them I used the bodyshop that they not only recommended but they used. I called up Liberty Collision and told them my problem and that during some respectful brainstorming at the dealership we where unable to come up with a total explanation for the malfunction, and was wondering if they would entertain looking at it as a part of warranty on the repairs. They said yes without hesitation. I also unrelated to this had someone knock my rear bumper on the passenger side knocked out of alignment. I asked Liberty Collision if they could take a look at it and give me a quote on straightening that out. So after having Liberty Collision look at it for a day. Liberty Collision said that they slightly adjusted the passenger window and stripping. Liberty Collision and I ultimately contributed it to unusual temperatures. Liberty Collision then showed me that they straightened out the bumper and they CHARGED ME NOTHING. This left me shocked and extremely appreciative. I will continue to use and trust Liberty Collision as long as I am able to do so. This was fantastic customer service. Recommended Highly.

They are ALWAYS courteous, , knowledgeable, and service times are as described during the estimate. From my understanding they are reasonably priced but like I said we've only ever been for insurance related fixes. I will say I personally know they are a preferred shop for two different insurance companies so that should say something. I wouldn't hesitate to come here for custom work if I needed it too.

Extremely disappointed with the repair experience at Crash Champions Stafford. I was notified that…read moremy vehicle was ready for pickup, but when I arrived the repairs were clearly incomplete and not up to acceptable standards. The front bumper was visibly misaligned, the front right fender was misaligned, a screw/fastener was missing under the hood, and the headlights were improperly aligned with the bumper. The front right headlight is also physically damaged/broken in the corner and still has not been replaced. To make matters worse, the newly replaced front bumper itself is cracked/defective, which is completely unacceptable for a vehicle that was supposedly ready for delivery. When I pointed these issues out, I was told that 'sometimes new parts come with defects.' That is not an acceptable response. Defective parts should be replaced before a customer is asked to pick up their vehicle. I refused delivery of the vehicle because it was not restored to pre-accident condition. There were also delays and poor communication regarding the repair timeline and paperwork, and I even received an automated email incorrectly stating that I had already picked up my vehicle when the shop still has possession of it. I expect Crash Champions to fully correct all alignment issues, replace the cracked bumper and damaged front right headlight, reinstall all missing hardware properly, and complete the repairs to professional standards before considering this repair complete.
