Blue Star Gas is a great company to work with. One thing I really like about this company is the…read morepeople. There are some really good, hardworking people here who take their jobs seriously and genuinely care about the customers they serve. Whether it's delivering propane, installing a tank, making a repair, or just answering a customer's questions, the goal is to make sure people are taken care of. Something else I appreciate is that Blue Star Gas is more than just a company that delivers propane. They also have people who can troubleshoot problems, repair equipment, install new systems, and help customers figure out what they need. Having people who actually know what they're doing makes a big difference, especially when you're dealing with propane and safety. I also like that this is a company where you can actually talk to someone when you need help. Nobody wants to call a business and get passed around or feel like they're just another account number. The people here try to get to know their customers and build relationships with them. There are going to be times when things don't go exactly as planned, just like with any other business, but what matters is making the effort to get things right. I think people sometimes forget how much work goes on behind the scenes to make sure customers have propane when they need it. Between the drivers, service technicians, office staff, and everyone else involved, it takes a lot of coordination. I've seen firsthand how much effort goes into keeping things running and taking care of customers. I'm proud of the people who work here and the service they provide to the community. It's a good company with good people who work hard every day. I am proud to be a member of this team.

I…read morewasn't completely sure how to accomplish my goals of keeping the exposed rafters while also adding insulation and not spending a fortune. Dale talked me through some options and helped me find the perfect solution. Plus, the price they quoted was very reasonable. Scheduling was a bit tricky...I think they might be pretty busy. But it was absolutely worth the trouble. Also, I just have to mention that the install crew was the most polite, personable crew I've ever had at my house. They made me feel completely comfortable from the very beginning. I'm not exactly sure what the difference was, but as a woman who has arranged a variety of home renovation projects, I usually feel a little on edge while each crew is around (especially if I have to tell them to fix mistakes). Not this time. It felt more like having trusted neighbors helping with a project. Again, I don't really know why this crew seemed so trustworthy and approachable, but sometimes your gut picks up on things your brain doesn't. In any case, I definitely recommend Insul 8. I'll be calling them again for sure when I renovate the rest of my detached building.
