Great service, atmosphere, and, most importantly, food.
The wait is very long, as it seems to be a local favorite. Based on Google reviews, we expected to wait at least 1-1.5 hours. We put in our names and walked/shopped around for about an hour. We came back and waited for another 30 minutes. The wait is well worth it!
The outside is unassuming, except for the tons of people waiting outside to get in. When we walked in, it felt like we were going inside an arboretum or botanical garden. Relaxing and calm colors and decor. Lots of foliage.
Service is excellent! Food came out relatively quick. The Tres Leches French Toast is sublime. Not too sweet, with many interesting textures: crunchy, creamy, chewy. Ice cream was perfect flavor and texture to balance the sweetness of the toast itself.
The Chilaquiles Poblano was a great take on chilaquiles. So good but also deserve its own chilaquiles category on its own. Not your typical chilaquiles for sure, yet we finished every bite of the dish and spoon of the sauce. Loved the experience!
We enjoyed both dishes so much! read more
