Amazing service! My husband worked with pretty much everyone at Cuffs & Collars over the course of a couple of months looking for just the right look for our wedding. They were extremely helpful, patient, and most of all honest. No up-selling. They simply want you to look and feel good. Quality is top notch on the handmade suites and shirts and they are there to make you walk out looking like a million bucks! Looking forward to the next purchase! read more

Had a couple days in HK and went into Cuffs to get some custom shirts. Just got mine in the mail back in the States. Fit great and the colors/comfort is exactly as I'd expected and hoped. Now they have my size I can get them without flying back to HK! read more

Had my tuxedo for my wedding custom made here, and it looks great and fits perfectly! I'm a taller guy with long arms so it's difficult to find that perfect fit, but the nailed it. I'm very pleased with my experience and would highly recommend Cuffs and Collars. read more

This is definitely my favorite place for higher end professional apparel in Boston. The shop itself is a really well maintained boutique that's small and inviting, the owner and manager, Antoin and Alysa, respectively, are both super personable and will work with you until you find exactly what your looking for. Best of all, if you happen to have broad shoulders and a tiny waiste, the Italian dress shirts fit superbly! read more

I used a Groupon and a Living Social deal here this past Saturday afternoon. The owner and Saleswoman, Alyssa, were both extremely knowledgable and helpful. They managed to help over 6 customers at once, which is amazing considering the level of personal attention each customer was paid. The quality of the suits, shirts and ties are great. 150s abound, and they have slim as well as regular fits. Overall, a great experience! read more

These guys are GREAT!! Between Antonio and Alyssa it doesn't get any better. I ordered 6 suits for my upcoming wedding and not only did they accommodate my crazy schedule with fittings and such but they also dealt with shipping the suits all over the place AND were totally fine with getting some back and exchanging them out. Not to mention, the communication was better than expected. Very happy and the suits look AMAZING! read more

Great store with a great selection of fine items from Italy. Abbey was very helpful, polite and accommodating in my search for a scali cap, which they did not have available in my size, but she offered to take my info and let me know when my size would be available. In any case, i found another cap that i loved and purchased it at a great price. I will go back again, mainly for the great service. Thanks! read more

Very impressive suit quality and service. My Cuffs and Collars suit is currently the only suit in my rotation that consistently garners positive feedback. Maybe I should go back for another! Great place in Boston to bolster your suit game. read more

I bought a groupon to cuffs and collars to buy a suit for a wedding. The store is small but stocked well and is very nice inside. The service however leaves a lot to be desired. The first time I came in I looked through some suits with a staff member and was provided a little bit of help and opinion but decided on one that I liked. I was then told to return to see the tailor or owner for my measurements in a few days. I returned a few days later at my appointment time and there was a no tailor just the same staff member. I was perplexed but trusting in what the store supposes to deliver. Measurements were taken. And I was again told I'd be called when it was ready. I got the call it was ready. Picked it up. And left. I should have tried it on. But parking in the area is horrible and I again trusted the store. The next day I put the suit on for the wedding. And it fit terrible. TERRIBLE. The pants were 2 inches to short. The sleeves were too long and covered my palms. And the jacket was so large I could put a basketball between my chest and the jacket. As such the jacket had to come off as soon as the wedding was over and the pants had to be sagged or ud see my ankles when I walked around. I found another tailor soon after and paid a reasonable price of another hundred bucks to have the suit fixed. She was horrified by the work that had been done. As someone else said perhaps they care more about regular customers then they do their groupon customers. But the service was really bad for what they advertise. More over a simple google search reveals that the suit I bought could be found for 300 dollars rather than 1200 they say it is worth in the groupon. read more

Cuffs & Collars is the store you go to, when you want a dress shirt that is actually WORTH paying $120.00 for. I'm not talking about the overpriced Armani, Express, or any of the other D-bag brands. Cuffs & Collars has a very specific selection of timeless clothing that any guy can buy and look good in. When you're out and about, people ask you, "hey nice shirt". Nobody has every told me that about a shirt I bought at a department store. To this date I have purchased 5 different dress shirts, and a very unique sport coat with custom white stitching. Their clothes are very sturdy, and stand the test of time easily. I have also purchased a classic navy blue dress shirt for my father here, and he was extremely happy. To bottom line this, there are usually only 1-2 customers here at a time, which is perfect; they take all your measurements and work WITH YOU to come up with clothes that make you look good. read more

Update. Took multiple attempts to reach C&C to discuss shirts that didn't fit. Finally spoke with the owner who went into a long, angry diatribe, accusing me of altering the shirts before he had even seen them. When I brought the shirts back, they insisted that their process was correct, but I had "changed my body shape". Took the owner and the shirts to a 3rd party tailor who said the shirts were made wrong and could not be altered. I was then told that I was responsible for the shirts since I agreed to the measurements they took. I asked for my money back to find another source, and was refused. After much back and forth, and nearly 11 hours of my time, I was given the offer of a partial refund and store credit, or the shirts could be re-made, but only if I agreed to take the shirts no matter how they fit. Ended up taking option 1, since I didn't trust them to make good shirts or stand behind the product. Owner also read the previous review and did honor a free shirt. In the end, I got something, but not what I wanted and it took way too much time and effort. Mind you, I got this treatment paying full price. I can only imagine how they treat deal customers...... read more

I don't know what the previous reviewers are talking about. I travel to Boston frequently on business and shop at this location because I can't find anything close to this quality in my home state. The quality of the cut and materials on both shirts and suits is outstanding. And the customer service is as high touch as they come. Earlier this year I called the store late one night after landing in Logan because I needed a specific style shirt that I forgot to pack. The store already knew my measurements so they had it tailored after hours and the owner hand delivered it to me at my hotel. You can't beat service like that! read more

Great shop with a surprising amount of selection for a small storefront. Bought a winter coat here and came back later in the year to get a new suit for a wedding. Antoine was helpful throughout the process, and I'm very satisfied with my purchases. read more

on our Freedom trail tour, i saw this shop and - being a bit of a dress shirt snob - i figured i'd better check it out. i thought it would be boston-hand-made shirts which would be really cool. not so unfortunately, it's an italian shirt store. but the shirts were pretty darned good and being the saturday after thanksgiving, they had a sale.... so i still bought 2 shirts and a pair of cufflinks. good quality stuff all the way around and not as pricey as, say Thomas Pink. cufflinks were cool too. read more

I purchased a suit at C&C a few months ago. They only had the jacket in my size so they custom ordered matching pants. I came back to get measured for the pants after they came in (it seemed strange they were so big... more on that later) and then returned again to get the suit a few weeks after that. I tried them on in the store, but it was clear there was a mistake: The pants were still enormous and seemed like they hadn't even been altered. The salesperson insisted they had been. They were incredibly oversized but, hey, they're the experts so I didn't perseverate over it since they said they'd have it redone. I came back a third time to pick it up. When I tried it on at home I was aghast: Only the inseam and waist were better and the pants were like clown pants. My girlfriend couldn't believe it either; she said "It looks like you are wearing a diaper". The rise was about a foot long. I looked in the inseam and it was a 48. I wear a 38. I returned to the store and spoke to the owner -- fully expecting him to be embarrassed. Instead, he tried to convince me it was the "classic cut" and was correct! I couldn't believe it. Classic cut? You don't have to be an expert to know something looks ridiculous. There was no way I would be seen anywhere in these grotesquely ill-fitting pants. Finally he relented and said he had a tailor that would fix it for about $20 - $25 or I could take it to a tailor of my own. At this point I had lost all confidence in him since he had told me a laughably oversized pair of paints was correct and he already had two chances to get it right. I took it to another tailor in Downtown Crossing. It took THREE TRIPS at the tailor to finally get the jacket and pants corrected. Final cost? $250 to fix a brand new suit. The tailor explained in detail the hack job that had been done and all the work needed to essentially take apart and reassemble the pants and alter the jacket again (further complicated because they were so far off from my size). Now it looks great... but way too much time and money than should have been required to get there. I haven't decided if I will return to C&C and ask to "be made whole". I still can't get over the fact that the owner could look me in the eye and tell me the pants were done correctly. I am chalking this up as a very expensive lesson on where to NOT shop in Downtown Crossing. read more

I came to Cuffs & Collars two weeks before my wedding needing 13 ties and 13 pocket squares. Not only were Antoine and Giovanni able to help me find the ties and squares to match the bridesmaids dresses, but they made some calls and got everything I needed within a week! The ties and squares are high quality and look sharp, and I know I'll be using them again after the wedding. Good guys, quality products, I highly recommend. read more

C & C did not disappoint when I went there about a week ago looking for a suit. The service was excellent and the store itself was unlike any other place I have been to. If you are looking for a high end suit, C&C is the place to go. read more

I stopped in looking for a suit coat, shirt and tie. What I got was an easy, comfortable, enjoyable experience...and a great deal. As someone who is fashion illiterate, Antoine and his staff made me feel at ease. They offered suggestions, and explanations as to what would look good and work well together from fabrics and colors, to style and fit. They have earned my future business. Great place. read more

Went into to look for my wedding suit. Was impressed with the customer service and knowledge. I was told the suit was Italian made. Come to find out all the tags on the suit said made in china. I then had 2 issues with the alterations and ended up taking it to another tailor. Not having an experienced tailor on site is a major issue for people that are spending more than $700 for a suit. Honestly, I would have been better off going to a department store or MW buying a brand name suit for 1/2 the cost that included alterations. I guess I will know for next time. read more

I stopped in yesterday to check out this little store tucked away on Water St. in Downtown Crossing. I found the salesperson very attentive and he took considerable time to find something that would fit -- not easy given my 37" arms. Later the owner came into the store and both of them were attending to me. The owner is definitely "hands on" and cares that you find something that is right for you. As far as price: The prices seemed high to me at first but, after being educated by my girlfriend on what a quality dress shirt is, and comparing to prices at Barney's, I think they are very reasonably priced for fine Italian men's wear. You can tell the difference in quality. Finally, the salesperson honored an online coupon I didn't even have. Overall this was a very good customer experience; it also feels good to support an independent business that is not a chain store. read more

Antoine is great. He is both friendly and extremely knowledgeable about men's dress wear. I purchased my first Italian suit from him and the experience was top-notch. He was able to provide me with exactly what I wanted, as well as make suggestions when I asked for them that were always spot on. Also, the alterations were timely and came out perfectly. Will definitely return when I need another suit. read more

Have purchased three pairs of shoes that are of top quality, need no break in and are extremely comfortable and stylish, and reasonable in price for the quality. Recently purchased a special package deal (suit, dress shirt, 2 ties and pair of cuff links). Clothes look beautiful, although suit at tailor for minor alterations so haven't yet actually worn it. read more

I went to Cuff's and Collars for a new french cuff shirt, tie, and cufflinks for my wedding. Cuff's and Collars had a deal for a set of all these for a good price so I went and tried them out. It's a small space and only one or two staff on at a time, so if you're in a rush it might not be the best match for you. They didn't have the shirt I wanted, so I had to order it. Two weeks later I picked it up and it fit perfectly. I went back for a suit when I needed a new one and had another great experience. It's now my favorite suit, very high quality, and it was not prohibitively expensive. The owner has an eye for style and can usually pick out the right size with just a look at your frame. Highly recommended for quality menswear. Not sure about other people's experience reading the reviews, but they do get their clothes from Italy, so it may take a while at times. My items showed up right when they said they would. read more

I had bought a Gilt City deal that included a custom made suit, a shirt, two ties and a pair of cufflinks for my husband to wear at his daughter's wedding. My husband and I happened to be downtown, and spotted the shop. We went in just to check it out and perhaps make an appointment for a later date. The shop itself is beautiful, and looks like something right our of Italy. Every inch of the small space is utilized in an efficient and visuably pleasing manner. It was around 5:30 on a Saturday, and the shop was relatively quiet, with a few customers in and out. We looked around a bit first as they were helping another customer, and when looking in my husbands size, I went right to a beautiful grey on grey stripped suit that was made from a gorgeous light weight wool/silk blend. My husband liked this one very much as well. When the owner, Antoine Rubini, finished with his customer, we explained that we were just looking, as we knew the terms of the Gilt City deal indicated that we had to make an appointment in advance. He told us no problem, we could pick out something now, but if we wanted the fabric that we liked on the suit that was there for the custom made, that this fabric was no longer available. My husband tried on the suit, and except for one minor adjustment, and hemming the pants, the suit fit him nicely, and he loved it and the fabric. We then looked at shirts to match, ties and cufflinks. Both he and the young man that works with him spent a great deal of time on finding the right tie to match the shirt that we picked. They both had excellent suggestions, and couldn't help us enough. Antoine picked out a beautiful Prada tie, but indicated that there would be an upcharge if we wanted that tie. However, he let us take the Prada tie as part of the Guilt City deal instead of two ties from his other collection (which were also very nice as well). When we left the shop, I glanced down at my watch and it was 7:15PM, and the shop closed at 7:00 PM. However, they never indicated that they were closing and we needed to make a decision on the tie, just let me continue trying all different ties with the shirt. This is a high end shop, with beautiful quality mens wear and offering custom made suits which is reflected in the prices of the merchandise. However, you will not find suits like these in Macy's or Lord and Taylor. The quality is more like Barney' or Louis or Boston with much more personalized service at lower prices then either of these places. If you are looking for something special, this is the place to go. read more
