Basically they wanted me to pair a Share Of Cost of $3891 and that combined with my mortgage would almost take all my money that I have for the month. It was very hard for me to keep my house clean and I was kind of in denial about me having to do it all by myself. So I decided to go on yelp, and Donnie maids was the first company that came up. The owner of Valerie is very nice and very, very easy to work with She sent out a woman. I cannot remember her name, but she was also very good. She did a walk-through of my home and she asked if she could take pictures before she started taking pictures. I really appreciate that not that I have anything to hide lol. The next day two workers came and I instructed them what I needed done what was a priority and what I didn't need to have done just personal items that I'd rather take care of myself they did an amazing job. They were very quick and they were very thorough. I can tell when things are clean. When I rub my hand over surface. I can tell if it's been dusted and treated with Murphy's oil soap or if they've just been barely gone over they did a great job on my toilet and my shower And my kitchen which I thought was a disaster. I cannot recommend them enough please give Valerie a call and at least consider using them. He will not be sorry. I repeat again. You will be not be sorry for using Donnie maids. They are wonderful and I plan to use them again.

California Cleans jumped to get a quote the same day and were able to come out and clean the very next day, in order to expedite our new provider coming in safely. The brand new stove we had purchased in August of 2025 looked like it had never been cleaned - thanks to California Cleans, it looks new again! After inquiring with numerous cleaning businesses on Yelp, I noticed how responsive and professional Henry, from Maria's Cleaning, was and quickly received a quote from them of $280 for a whole house deep cleaning. For reference, the house is roughly 1,000 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Fast forward to the day of the house cleaning, Gala, our cleaner, was scheduled to arrive at 1:30PM. However, 1:30 came and went but no one showed up. We waited 5-10 minutes before I reached out and asked if anything was wrong. In fairness, Henry responded quickly and said there was an "unforeseen delay" and that she would be over in 5-10 minutes. Well, 10 minutes passed and still no one. Gala didn't arrive until shortly after 2:30PM, almost an hour after the scheduled time. Gala arrived and we helped her with her many cleaning supplies/equipment into the house, and she got right to work. She started with the bedrooms, and worked her way towards the front of the house. One slight problem was that Gala doesn't speak the best English and when my Mom asked her to focus on certain parts of the house, we weren't quite sure she understood us. However, she forged through and methodically went through the house. Gala probably didn't finish until close to 10PM, however, after she left we noticed a lot of missed areas, dusty corners/ceilings/walls, and some areas completely untouched. Honestly, we were surprised only one cleaner was sent as it felt more like a 2+ person job and as Maria's Cleaning wasn't the cheapest quote I received, I did have higher expectations for their services with a fee close to $300. It took me a while to write this because I genuinely hoped the company would make things right, but…read moreunfortunately they never did. I hired this cleaning company for my EMPTY rental property, which was already mostly clean. The job mainly involved wiping things down, cleaning two bathrooms, and handling a few additional tasks. I also told them ahead of time that I might add a few items to the list while the cleaner was there, and they assured me that was fine since the cleaner was paid hourly. For context, they charge $56 per hour, which is already a very high rate. After paying nearly $500 total, I expected a thorough and professional job. The cleaner did an okay job in some areas, and because I didn't want to micromanage her, I mostly left her alone to work. I also specifically told her that two bathrooms were being remodeled and did not need to be cleaned. Later, however, she reportedly told the company that she had cleaned one of those bathrooms anyway, which was simply not true. After she finished, we locked up the property and returned a few days later to paint and prepare it for move-in. That's when I started noticing multiple things that had not been cleaned at all. For example, I asked for the closet doors and shelves to be wiped down, and they clearly were not. Considering she spent 8 hours there, I honestly began wondering what was completed during that time. Wiping down empty closet doors and shelves takes very little time. At that point I was overwhelmed trying to finish painting and get the property move-in ready, so although I wanted to document everything immediately, I simply didn't have the time to stop and take photos of every issue as I found it. My aunt also noticed heavy dirt still left in the toilets, despite the extensive amount paid for cleaning services. Once the new tenants moved in, I contacted the company to explain the situation. Their response was essentially that too much time had passed and that their cleaner claimed I had approved the work. I requested either a partial refund or for another cleaner to come fix the issues. They asked me to send photos and said they would send someone out, so I did -- and then I never heard back. About a week later, after my tenants sent me additional photos showing more things that had been missed, I reached out again. I explained that if they would not offer a partial refund or resolve the issue, I would leave an honest review about my experience. Instead of addressing the concerns professionally, I was told that "the cleaner said everything was cleaned" and that the fact I mentioned leaving a review "said a lot" about me. That response was extremely frustrating. I'm simply sharing what happened. I don't lie, and I'm not trying to get free money from anyone. I paid for a professional cleaning service and did not receive the level of service I paid for. When I later sent additional photos from my tenants, the company focused only on one picture involving the washing machine, stating they do not clean washing machines, while completely ignoring the other issues shown in the photos. So I'm sharing my experience to let others know what happened. Maybe others have had better experiences, but mine was disappointing from start to finish. If you choose to hire this company, I strongly recommend thoroughly checking the work before the cleaner leaves and taking photos immediately, because in my experience the cleaner was not honest about what was completed. To make matters worse, this situation also made me look dishonest in front of my new tenants after I had assured them the property had been professionally cleaned. I'll be posting photos so others can judge the quality of the work for themselves. Mind you these are only the ones we took or the tenants sent. There was much more that we didn't document.
