So I don't know about more common dogs but my mum really wanted a plush of her Sharpei that passed away. What they sent us was not what was promised, and spit all over the memory of my mother's furbaby. I understand it's a difficult breed, but if you can't do it well then don't take the money/ do the job. The heartless people even refused a return and refund after screwing with my mum via email, even when she sent it back. They eventually sent a fake remittance notice but not the actual money. Hell she would of been happy if they had actually tried again. I am so angry at them they made my poor mum cry when she just wanted to have a peice of her baby to hold. Shame on them, she did not deserve this treatment and 6 moths of hell. Also they are not cuddly, if you want something soft to hug then you are out. They are tough and the colour is spray painted on so they have a horrid texture. 421AUD was how much my mum paid for nothing but trouble.
UPDATE AFTER REPLY FROM CUDDLECLONES AUG 2022
Hey so I am not going to be nice about this because your reply was complete garbage. Just so I have all the facts straight here is my mums email to your follow up on the refund problem. TLDR FOR ANYONE READING THIS NO REFUND AS OF AUGUST 2022 HAS BE RECIEVED BY US OR AMEX, MEANING NO REFUND WAS ISSUED, IT WAS STOLEN BY SOMEONE INTERNALLY AT CUDDLE CLONES OR THE REFUND WAS CANCELLED ON THEIR END. My mum's reply is as follows...
I have spoken to AMEX again prior to launching a complaint to AFCA. No money have ever been refunded to my AMEX account from Cuddle Clones. AMEX needs to communicate with Cuddle Clones directly but AMEX have received no reply.
I don't understand why you cannot reply Directly to AMEX, if you have nothing to hide. Where did my money go? All your proof of refund documents are dated 8th of Oct 2021, however, I was never advised about the refund. On Thursday, 4 November 2021, Eliza asked me via email to post the plush back to Cuddle Clones, which I did on the 8th of November 2021.
On 2nd of December, I received the below email from Eliza confirming that my return was received and I should now receive a refund.

Hello
Yes we have received your return and your refund has been issued as of 11/29, please allow 5-8 days to see this reflected in your original method of payment.
-Eliza
Can you please explain what kind of game your company is playing with me and who received my refund.
END OF MY MUM'S EMAIL
So yeah you guys refusing to talk to AMEX and insisting my mum recieved a refund that was issued before talks of a real refund and return were finalised is dodgy as shit and is NOT in any way good customer service, or a real review of the situation. As I see it, 1. You did not issue a refund at all and are just scaming people and lying. 2. You cancelled the refund. 3. You have a person, maybe this Eliza or maybe someone else in the company, that is stealing and scamming you.
If you took one second to talk to AMEX, who are the ORIGINAL methond of payment, rather than refusing them when they reached out to you, you would see that no refund was recieved. By your email though it is clear my mum returning the faulty product WAS recieved by you. So now my mum has no product, no refund, and a company lying to her face and playing with her grief and emotions. I love my mum very much and I am heartbroken to see her being scammed like this and using her grief. I hope this helps out anyone looking into this company. Go to etsy instead, there they at least only ask for a deposit and will not charge full amount if you are not happy with the product. read more
