I never write reviews but after my experience I felt compelled to write this one. I researched all the companies that offer custom stuffed animals of pets and although I found that Cuddle Clones were undoubtedly offering the best quality product (objective reviews online, photo gallery, etc.) I placed an order with a competitor (Petsies) due to them being $50 cheaper. Big mistake. The product from Petsies was not good. It was barely custom in any way. They did not respond promptly and didn't even offer a phone line for customers to call. When I asked Petsies if I could return the product they said they did not offer returns but would remake it if I paid them even more money! Just awful - especially since this was an emotional purchase with my pet passing away. I told them 'no thanks' and then immediately placed an order with Cuddle Clones (they happened to be running a promotion that gave me $50 off and effectively made it the same price as Petsies). I also noticed that Cuddle Clones offers a 100% money back guarantee. I'm not sure how I missed that the first time I visited their website. If I had saw that I would have went with them initially as none of the other companies offer a full money-back guarantee. When the Cuddle Clone arrived I could not believe how accurate and adorable it was. It was PERFECT! It's easy to see why they are the leader in this space. I'm so irritated with myself that I tried to go the cheap route initially but overall I don't care too much because the Cuddle Clones purchase made it all better. Cuddle Clones also dealt with my neurotic attention to detail very well and assured me all of the details of my pet would be captured in the products and they delivered on that promise! I was able to speak with them on the phone and they responded promptly to my emails. Great company that delivers great quality and even gives some of their revenue to animal charities. I can't overstate how great the company and products are! Don't go the cheap route like I did initially. Cuddle Clones plushies are either the same price or just a bit more expensive as the other companies and they are WAY better in quality and customer service! read more

We are mostly satisfied with our cuddle clone. It did take a lot of work and planning to get the the right photos to fill out the form online. I was very impressed with the customer service assistance as we had several questions about the process. I was able to talk to one of the owners serval times and they were patient and helped me very much. When I felt confident that I knew what I wanted to order, my Daughter and I spent several hours placing the order together. They are very thorough in the process and make every attempt to find out what you want. I suggest taking the time to organize your photos carefully, since this is what the artists will use to make your clone. Those who have had a bad experience, may not have enough quality photos to share. Once it was received, I had 2 issues. the packaging was not a box, as shown in there advertising videos. He was squished and all the fur was smashed down...it took a while for us to get him looking presentable for photos. Customer service was very clear about "the artists value their work" yet they sent it off to get all squished? insane. But, it's ok, an easy fix, forgiven. #2 issue - I was not satisfied with the forehead air brushing, and they gave us 30 days to return it to have it fixed, buy my Daughter wouldn't part with it, so it's going to stay the way it is. I was very surprised the mistake didn't get caught by the final quality control inspection they claim to have in place. I'll attempt to attach photos but I also have a YouTube video out there about it. https://youtu.be/KpiqCaHaWUw AGAIN, Forgiven...we don't know if that artist may have been new, or in a rush, or what, but I voted to send it back, but it was not may call. I may try to fix with a brown marker...I'm quite artistic myself and then we don't have to risk sending it back. It's not mine to send back, it's my Daughters and I honor her choice. all good. Over all, we are very happy with the quality and likeness to our fur baby. Grateful for the service they provide. I would do it again in a heartbeat, and may order one for myself one day. I encourage anyone thinking about it to go for it. read more

It has been over 4 months since I placed my order, & I STILL don't have my completed order. On January 20th I expressed my desire for a remake and sent multiple emails in an effort to provide the Cuddle Clones team with descriptions and photos of the ways in which the originally delivered product failed to capture my dog at the same level of quality and detail advertised on their website (even after I had provided an additional 14 images when I placed my order to ensure maximum accuracy). Thus, in actuality, this remake process has now taken a total of over 2 months, and will likely take another 1-2 months. I emailed on February 22, February 27, March 15th, and March 21st to confirm they received the plush for remake and to get status updates. Their team confirmed receipt of the plush and commencement of the remake process. However, I on March 23rd I was told that over the previous 5 weeks nothing has been done, no one reached out to me to notify me of any delays or issues which would cause a delay, and instead was told it could take another 5-6 weeks before I receive the remake back. Instead of recognizing the opportunity to uphold the high standards of quality and detail they advertise on their website, they tried to simply offer a refund and wash their hands of the failure. I refused the refund, as my service dog had recently passed away and it was important to me to commemorate our bond & 10+ year friendship by having the product I was advertised and already paid for. As you read this, you may also be wondering why there are less negative reviews than positive... That would be because the company uses the customer satisfaction survey email to filter negative reviews by directing those who indicate intent to leave a negative review through to an alternative submittal form. In order to leave an HONEST review, I have to indicate I intended to leave a positive review so that I would be directed to the sites where the reviews are actually visible. read more

I received my cuddle clone in the mail this week, and I have to say, she's PERFECT. Our beagle, Macy, is 14.5 years old right now. My wife has had her since she was six-weeks old. She's been an integral part of our lives together. On our first date, I arrived to my wife's house early. She was upstairs getting ready, while I waited with Macy in the living room. Macy sneezed. I told her "bless you!" My wife says that was the moment she "knew." :) When I treated Macy like a person. In the decade since then, Macy was the "flower girl" in our wedding, and she's been there through the birth of two children. She's deaf now, and her body is arthritic, but she's in good shape for the shape she's in. Still, at her age, who knows how much time is left? I stumbled on their website looking for a Valentine's Day gift for my wife. It was too late to get an order processed for Valentine's Day, so I placed it for Mother's Day. The process was easy, and I appreciated the opportunity to call out special unique details about our girl. They were also very helpful in getting her shipped in an unmarked box so my wife wouldn't have her surprise ruined. During the proof process I noticed a few things that weren't *quite* perfect, and they got those details addressed and made her just right Their customer service was awesome. She's here, and I can't wait to see the look on my wife's face when she opens that box. She's quite literally, perfect. The little details - the brown streaks of fur in her black fur patches. The black whiskers on one side of her face and the white on the other. The "tear stain" under her right eye. The proportions of her markings. They got her exactly right. Because of Cuddle Clones, our Macy girl will always be there with us. This will be a special gift that I know she's certain to treasure forever. These guys are awesome. read more

It is my sincere pleasure to recommend Cuddle Clones to you. I recently had to say goodbye to my beloved Brody who was just a few days from turning 18. In 2019 I had to say goodbye to my Coco who was 11 due to cancer. I had both pups from birth. We shared so many wonderful adventures together throughout the years. They will never ever be forgotten. I came across Cuddle Clones through a web search. I was impressed with their work and reviews from clearly satisfied customers. I decided to have clones made of my dear pups (the bobbleheads). I excitedly uploaded pictures and provided some detail on Coco and Brody. Eight weeks seemed like an eternity. Manuela contacted me a few weeks in requesting additional pictures to get the details perfect. I sent the pictures along with a note of excitement and to my pleasant surprise received a very heartwarming reply from Manuela. It made my day. A real human with heartfelt emotions. The day my clones arrived I was actually nervous, but excited to see them. I just bawled my eyes out when I took them out of their boxes. They looked exactly like my little loves! Every detail was perfect! Every marking, their eyes their noses, the colors in their fur, just everything! My pups may be over the Rainbow Bridge, but thanks to Cuddle Clones, I found happiness and a sense of peace with the clones of my furry little loves. Cuddle Clones is a professional organization, with people who take their work seriously and produce unbelievable results! Top notch hands down! I recommend Cuddle Clones to everyone who has a pet and can't thank them enough for giving me the opportunity to see my little loves every single day! read more

Cuddle Clones: A Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish We ordered a Cuddle Clone of our recently departed Bandit for the holidays, paying the rush fee to ensure it arrived in time. Following the detailed order instructions, we provided numerous photos and descriptions to help Cuddle Clones accurately capture Bandit's unique physical traits and likeness. Bandit was a sweet Shih Tzu, and we hoped for a heartwarming tribute. When the Cuddle Clone arrived, we were immediately disappointed. The plush toy resembled a generic "small dog" with only some fur color patterns similar to Bandit's. We contacted Cuddle Clones about alterations, and they provided return instructions, which we promptly followed. Fast forward to the end of May, over five months after we sent it back for modifications. During this period, we repeatedly reached out for updates and were consistently told that it was still in progress. This week, Cuddle Clones finally sent an image of the updated Cuddle Clone, asking for approval. Unfortunately, the likeness was still nowhere near the level of customization and resemblance promoted on their website. After expressing our continued disappointment, Cuddle Clones issued a full refund. While we appreciated the refund, the entire process was frustrating and disheartening. The examples showcased on their website seem to be exceptions rather than the rule. Overall, our experience with Cuddle Clones was a major letdown. It was not worth the time, effort, or money. We hope others have better luck, but based on our experience, we cannot recommend their service. read more

Very good friends of ours had their dog cross the "rainbow bridge" back at the end of October 2021. The family was taking it hard as Kennedy (also known as "Rooney") was one of the best dogs you could ever meet, and the Christmas Holiday and New Years just weren't the same. We have a small Bible study group together and we teamed together to place our Cuddle Clone order after I saw an ad on social media. I told my wife "We should get them this!" She looked at me quizzically and asked "Why would [their family] want a stuffed Husky dog?" I had to tell her "No, not THAT specific dog, they make replicas of your OWN pet!" Well, I visited the website to see what all was needed to get it going. I was able to get lots of pictures from our friend's social media and I worked with the dad of the family to get some of the other specific poses and other details (she had a docked tail) and select the poses. We surprised the family with the Cuddle Clone once the order arrived near the end of January. Needless to say, there were lots of tears shed. The mom of the family has her Cuddle Clone sitting on chest in their bedroom and she says it occasionally startles her to see her Rooney in the house. So it's very realistic looking. My only reason for the 4 stars is the cost. It is expensive. But it's also very labor intensive to get the match to look exactly right. This is not for everyone, but if you have a pet in your life, current or not, and want a keepsake that looks just like them, then this is a good buy. People will do most anything for their pets. read more

Ordered a plush toy Clone from Cuddle Clones. They get five stars on the color and pattern of my dog's markings, very accurate job. Unfortunately I have to give them only TWO stars on the tail, they got the color correct but they made it bushy like a German Shepard's or Husky's tail - she's a Boxer/Pit mix and has a tail like a whip. However, since the stuffed animal is in the sitting position you don't really see it all that much, so I can live with it (I doubt I have any other choice at this point). I give them three stars on the overall shape of my dogs features. The snout is not correct, and the neck was way too thick...but perhaps I'm nitpicking because I've seen/read reviews from other customers stating the "likeness is unbelievable". That is not the case with my Clone. I mean, they came pretty close, but it's nowhere near "unbelievable" . However, given the fact they do this from photos is pretty impressive...and, at the end of the day, its a toy stuffed animal...a novelty. Albeit a bit pricey one. I would call what I have a resemblance, not a "clone". See photos and judge for yourself. I also give Cuddle Clones five stars on their communication (in fact, I'd give them SIX). I was updated frequently on the exact status of my order. That was a really nice touch in the customer service department. Overall I give my purchase four stars, and I'd probably take a chance on ordering another one again in the future if I could have more input before the final product is shipped out. read more

My boy, my baby boy blue Frenchie, "Rump" passed away April 29th suddenly & unexpectedly. It was devastating. I am grieving still. However, I came across this site for Cuddle Clones where you can order a replica of your pet. I wasn't so sure but found information and ordering so easy. The way they asked for specific views in photos, specific details about Rump and their customer service in follow up communications really put me at ease. But I had no idea what I was about to receive. Today, only a handful of weeks later, I got the most beautiful gift. He is so perfect I don't even want to call him a stuffed animal because he is so much more than that! Their artists really caught Rump's essence and I cannot express in mere words the great comfort this has given me. I ordered the zipper belly and have already put some special momentos inside. My cat is a li'l freaked out because the resemblance is so uncanny. The quality is off-the-charts and I just couldn't be happier. That's 5 stars! I'm so happy. Cuddle Clones, you've truly brought joy to this broken heart. And I wanna' tell anyone that is looking for a gift for someone struggling with deep grief over the loss of a beloved pet to consider doing this. Check it out my picture of my boy and his Cuddle Clone! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Linda Bates read more

My order was a replica plush of my blue heeler (Australian cattle dog). I was impressed with the amount of detail that they asked for before building my plush. My order was a memorial for my deceased dog, a blue heeler, and I was very impressed with the colouration on the body, the body marking placement, and the texture of the fur. However, there's a few key details they got wrong, mostly on the face. My dog had distinctive black eye markings that made her expressions very pronounced, and they were entirely absent on the finished product. Also, the inner ears were not accurate, as they were tan and not pink. However, I am an animal artist myself, and so perhaps these are details that leap out to me but might not be apparent to the average person. Being an artist, I picked up some pigment pens from my local art store and corrected the face markings, and only then was I happy with the finished product. Having more than 17 pictures would definitely have been helpful I believe, as well as having the living pet to derive further reference from. But, that's the point of a memorial after all. Tl;Dr, crucial details were missed, but they were easy to fix with a paint pen. Definitely reccomend that you order something based on a pet that's still living! read more

From how caring the staff was, to how easy it was to place an order all the way to receiving the finished product everything was above par. The staff was very helpful and caring. I love my cuddle clone of my baby Ernst who passed away before I knew about this product so I had to send them photos that I had already taken and didn't really match with what they wanted. But I think they did an amazing job. His cuddle clone has been mistaken for a real pet on a couple of occasions, even the friends he left behind have taken turns hanging out with the clone. I personally feel it is a much better way to spend money on a memorialization than just having his ashes in a jar. While nothing will take his place, his stuffed animal clone has helped heal our hearts. Worth every dime. Of course it doesn't look exactly like him and the colors aren't a perfect match, no one is as good as mother nature, but their artists did a very good job and we're quite thankful. By the way, don't wash it with soap and water, the air brush/ink is delicate. The clones are dry clean only. I also think it's amusing they have a "cuddle clone hospital" in case of damage. Also it was supposed to take 8 weeks, and it only took 4. I did not pay the extra rush charge. read more

I would not recommend purchasing from this company due to the lack of effective customer support when issues arise. I have been emailing back and forth for over two weeks, and the only responses I receive are generic apologies and requests for a "case number" - which cannot be submitted through this platform. Via email, they simply copy and paste standard replies that do not resolve the problem. It's also concerning that their website shows very few one-star reviews. My negative review has not been published, which suggests that unfavorable feedback is being filtered out. They have also deleted all and any complaints from their social media, mine included. This has been an extremely frustrating customer experience. Today is the date my product would have arrived had I selected standard production timing. Instead, I paid extra for expedited production that clearly was not honored. The company admits they have no visibility into when their partner will actually process or ship the order, which makes charging an expedited fee misleading at best. My order number is CC-806756, Manuela. I am requesting a clear resolution--not another apology. What is the actual delivery date? And will the expedited production fee be refunded? read more

My mother lost her fur baby unexpectedly and too soon in January of this year (2025) and since then has wanted only one thing: to hold her precious Miyo again. I decided to get her a Cuddle Clones and I don't regret it one bit! The second I presented this gift to her she instantly cried tears of joy and held the plush, carrying him around the house wherever she went and even putting the real Miyo's collar on the clone--thus adding to the life-likeness. Cuddle Clones really nailed it, especially the eyes and the fur coloring. The communication was excellent but above all, the greatest thing that Cuddle Clones has done is help me fill the Miyo shaped hole that has been in my mother's heart since she lost him. This clone could never replace the real "Mr. Handsome", but he does give my mother the comfort that she has desperately needed for the better part of this difficult year. She even slept with clone and told me the next morning that she hasn't slept this well in a long time. We will definitely be using Cuddle Clones again for another plush of a dearly loved and missed fur baby we lost years back. Thank you Cuddle Clones and God bless this company for giving my mother the "best gift she's ever received" (per my mother). read more

my mother was missing her Belgian shepherd Dog Yarren for a few years now, she feels she's too old to have another dog but really misses him. So I ordered a cuddle clone. It took a few weeks to do which actually made me feel more comfortable because I knew that they were taking their time in producing it correctly.they were very efficient in making sure that they received every photograph angle of Jan to make sure that it was correct. Losing a beloved pet is one of the most heartbreaking experiences, and when my pup passed away recently, I felt an immense void in my life. In my search for comfort, I discovered Cuddle Clones, and I can honestly say it has been one of the most meaningful things in my grieving process. From the moment I received my Cuddle Clone, I was overwhelmed with emotion. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were incredible--it truly looked just like my pup. Every marking, every little feature, and even the softness of the fur brought back memories that I hold so dearly. It was as if a small part of her had returned to me, giving me something tangible to hold onto when I miss her most. Having this Cuddle Clone has given me a sense of closeness to my pup that I didn't think was possible after her passing. It has helped ease the pain, providing comfort on difficult days and allowing me to keep her memory alive in a way that feels personal and special. For anyone grieving the loss of a beloved pet, I highly recommend Cuddle Clones. It's more than just a stuffed replica--it's a heartfelt tribute, a reminder of the love we shared, and a source of comfort when I need it most. read more

Losing one's pet is the same as losing a cherished family member and, at times, can be even more devastating. An organization; a company that memorializes a beloved pet, living or deceased, needs to have the right ingredients to produce a product that will capture the very essence of the pet which will ultimately bring comfort and joy to its recipient. Equally, the company must be understanding and caring to the needs; desires of its customers. I have experienced first hand, the professionalism of Cuddle Clones and their team. I felt valued as a customer and am impressed with the personal touch the team gave throughout the process after the order had been placed. They kept me informed once they started cloning Ellie to near completion and finally being shipped. The Cuddle Clone of my little girl Ellie has helped in healing a large wound in my heart. This plush likeness of Ellie shows her at her happiness, which brings back all those beautiful memories. I highly recommend this supplier because they show through their service and products how much they value their customers. read more

I recently ordered a custom Golf Club Headcover of my Weimaraner from Cuddle Clones, but unfortunately, the product I received didn't even remotely resemble my dog or any Weimaraner, is just a random dog. Considering I paid $247.63, I had high expectations for both the quality and accuracy, but the result was extremely disappointing. When I contacted customer service, they offered alterations to the plush, which seemed like a reasonable solution. However, they didn't inform me in their email that agreeing to alterations would void the return policy. I only discovered this hidden detail by searching through their website, which I found misleading and frustrating. To make matters worse, I now have to cover the cost of returning the item, even though it was their mistake in the first place. I've already spent a significant amount, and having to pay for shipping adds to a bad experience. I would strongly recommend NOT buying from Cuddle Clones. They failed to deliver a product that met even basic expectations, and their policies seem designed to protect themselves rather than ensure customer satisfaction. read more

Ordered Dec 5th with Rushed production and expedited guaranteed delivery by Christmas. I messaged multiple times only response prior to Christmas Day was an automated update stating purchases prior to Dec 11th with rushed and expedited would still arrive on time. After finally getting a person responding on Christmas Day to let me know they didn't get my product done on time. I asked if those of us who purchased the rushed production and expedited shipping would be refunded. Response was "We can't refund the whole order due to our products being custom but we'd humbly refund the rushed but can't on the shipping due to it still being processed as expedited". Issues I have with this is Cuddle Clones specifically put on their website that Rushed and expedited shipping need to be purchased together for guaranteed Christmas arrival. As of today still no tracking number. I also don't know if my custom product has even been started. How to improve, don't put "guaranteed" because when you don't follow through on your "guarantee" it looks really bad that you continue to push that cost on the consumer. read more

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Cuddle Clones. I ordered pajamas on November 8th, expecting them to arrive in time for Christmas. Unfortunately, they did not arrive by Christmas, which was the main reason for my purchase. When I reached out to customer service, they informed me that I had not selected Rush Creation or Expedited Shipping during checkout, which is necessary to guarantee delivery by specific dates like Christmas. I understand the need for expedited options for urgent orders, but to expect customers to pay extra for a delivery window that should be reasonable for any order placed 6 and a half weeks in advance is unreasonable. Their response felt dismissive and seemed to place the blame on me for not selecting the additional services. If a company cannot fulfill an order placed more than a month and a half in advance for a major holiday, it's a significant shortfall in their service. I hope Cuddle Clones will reconsider their shipping policies and improve their communication with customers to avoid similar disappointments in the future. read more
