While my previous four visits were satisfactory, my most recent appointment fell significantly short of expectations, prompting this formal complaint. Upon arrival, I was immediately concerned by a strong odor of marijuana permeating the shop. This raised serious questions about the environment in which my dog was to be groomed. Following the grooming, several significant issues became apparent. My dog's nails were merely clipped, leaving sharp edges that subsequently scratched my children. His facial grooming was also incomplete, with uneven hair and unclean tear ducts. These are fundamental aspects of a professional grooming service that were clearly overlooked. A week later, I contacted your receptionist, Alex, to express my disappointment and concerns, including the strong smell of marijuana and its possible correlation with the subpar grooming service. I believe my intention was clearly constructive. However, my subsequent conversation with the owner proved deeply unsatisfactory. Rather than addressing my concerns with professionalism, the owner reacted defensively, dismissing or minimizing my feedback. Specifically, the owner failed to acknowledge that filing, not just clipping, a dog's nails is standard practice, and offered no explanation for the incomplete facial grooming l. Except to blame everything on the dog, mind you he has never had any issues before and service was correct. The owner's dismissive attitude and subsequent refusal of future service based on my concerns regarding the smell of marijuana and the quality of the grooming is both unprofessional and unacceptable. I do think it's funny though because after that day I had no plans on returning! Why would pay for a full service and get inadequate work done again? My primary concern remains the inadequate care my dog received. The overall experience, coupled with the owner's defensive and dismissive response, has left me extremely disappointed. I expect a higher standard of professionalism and pet care from a grooming establishment.

The week before my appointment I receive a text stating "you're not due yet so we will find a day and time and reschedule you" ummmm what?! I have already scheduled you when I'm available and it's been scheduled for 4 1/2 weeks. This person refused to keep my appointment stating "we apologize but we are moving to a latchkey system and we won't be in your area until the following week" Well I'm sorry, but I paid $130 for 1 hour of service which included an "out of county fee" I was never told about on a 13 lb dog that didn't even get a bath. So the fact that you are trying to change my appointment that's been scheduled for a month is unacceptable. They didn't ask me if it would be possible to change to the following week, they told me this is what we are doing and we will let you know a new day and time. They never did respond back to me and then yesterday I get a text to confirm my appointment for June 6!! Very VERY unprofessional as far as the business/scheduling goes. I brought my 6 year old German Shepherd there, and I was very transparent that she does not like…read morehaving her nails trimmed. I get a call at 11 that she is done and go and pick her up at 12. She brought her out with her feet completely soaked in blood. Quick stop was not stopping the bleeding from her nails and she told me 4 people held her down while she just cut as short as she could with no mind of quicking her. After trying to get the bleeding to stop and failing over and over again,I had to go to the vet next door and use silver nitrate sticks and hydrogen peroxide to stop the bleeding and clean her feet. Every single one of her nails were packed with quick-stop, meaning they cut every single nail too short. My almost brand new car with cloth seats looks like a murder scene. I got ahold of the manager and she told me she could not help me with my car or give me a refund. After being told I need to do better at desensitizing my dog and touch her feet (which I do, she is a rescue and I am able to cut them at home) she said that she is not responsible for my car. She refunded me the tip I gave (because you have to pay before) and the cost of the nail trim. My car will need professional detailing and my dog will never have a good experience with a nail trim ever again. I work in the vet field so I know a few things. Never would I ever hold a dog down and quick every single nail as short as she cut my dogs nails. Never would I send a client home in that state. I am very very angry with no solution made.

She had short hair so not as bad as a long haired dog. I was greeted with a huge smile and welcoming attitude. It was so lovely. They checked the schedule to see if they could possibly fit her in for a bath And Melanie said yeah I think I can fit her in. I'll have her done in an hour and a half. I couldn't believe it. The timing was perfect. Sure enough they called me in an hour and a half. The dog is ready. When I arrived to pick her up, she was happy And the staff member Melanie was again welcoming and full of smiles. It's such a nice way to be greeted. I find nowadays that isn't always the case. They did a great job on the dog. She was well brushed out and looked spotless. Smelled great. I asked Melanie if she Can do hair trimming like she saw on my golden doodle? I asked because it's a fancy cut long on the legs short on the body, a little bit of extra on the muzzle on the topknot. She assured me that she could do that no problem And anytime I needed help to give her a call. I will definitely be giving her a call. The location is great. The accessibility is great. They keep the doors locked and there's a ringer on the front door. It's a great idea because they don't have to have the overhead of a front desk person. Everyone in there is working. You ring the bell and you have to be patient. Wait a minute or two because they might be in the middle of bathing a dog.
