DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BREEDER!!! Unfortunately, I had a very dishonest and disappointing experience with Whited K-9 services. I was very impressed with the male Doberman who's litter that was due and wanted to purchase a female puppy from that litter. I was asked to put down a deposit down which I did and we agreed on a set price. I then get a call from Bill telling me that he was thinking about keeping the female that I had already put the deposit down. He told me that if I gave an additional $1,500 on top of the already agreed price then he would sell her to me. I originally told him no and would like my deposit back. He then told me that I would lose the deposit, which is basically criminal because he changed the terms that were agreed on and felt he was basically stealing my deposit. I went ahead with the purchase and paid an additional $1500 on top of the original price that we agreed on. At this point I felt I had no choice, he was basically shaking me down for an additional $1500. What makes the whole matter even worse is that the female puppy that I purchased was from an entirely different litter and not from the Male stud that was behind my whole motivation for my purchase. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a breeder. This is 100% a true testimony of what happened. What he did was so disgusting, dishonest, down right criminal and he should be ashamed of himself. I do not take any satisfaction in writing this review, but I feel that I have a duty to let people know of my experience with Bill and Whited K-9 services. Anyone that is thinking of dealing with Bill & Whited K-9 services DO NOT, walk away and find a more reputable and responsible breeder. This post is the absolute truth of what happened and like I stated before I take no satisfaction in writing this review but I feel I have a duty to warn people NOT TO USE THIS BREEDER! We got a great dog from Bill but wish I had been better informed about the breed from someone with first hand knowledge, fingers crossed that I can manage him as he gets older and more powerful. Also get things in writing and demand a professional interaction. After spending $2500.00 on a puppy we were told that "You don't need papers" maybe not but after spending that much on a puppy would love to have them. read more

Taika is the absolute BEST dog ever. Whenever I take him out, I always get complements on how well behaved he is. He has had ZERO accidents. From day one he has peed and pooped outside. None of this would have been possible without Bill and his team at Whited K-9. I can NOT recommend them enough! The entire experience was incredible. Whited K-9 is the best German Shepherd breeder around! If you are looking for a German Shepherd believe me, he is the one to go to! My baby is my dream come true. 2/4/19 - I recently purchased a Rottweiler puppy from Bill. The puppy was to be a surprise for my wife and asked if I could return the puppy if I decided not to keep her and be refunded. He said yes and shook my hand. He said that he would not refund the $500 deposit, but would refund the remaining $2000 if she didn't want the dog. Bill gave the puppy an antibiotic and then handed him over to me and I naively took a sick puppy home. She was lethargic and motionless for that first day and I was very concerned. I took her to our vet and she was diagnosed with a bladder infection as well as a parasite. She continued to have health issues even after 5 days. We decided because of health concerns and other reasons to return the puppy. Bill responded by telling me that he didn't have the money to pay me back and that he had no intentions of ever doing so, citing numerous times that "he spent the money on dog food for his kennel". After much back and forth, he agreed to take the sick puppy back. Since Bill continued to insist that he didn't have the money to pay me back, I offered and installment plan and asked him to pay me the $2000 over the course of the year.. He said "NO", became hostile and told me to leave. He grabbed the puppy and tried to open my car door and put the puppy in my car but fortunately, the doors were locked. I trusted Bill but his contract that I signed was binding so I didn't pursue further actions. Warning: read every detail of that contract. read more

Bill Whited is just about the most amazing person I've ever met! I've had large dogs most of my life, including 6 Dobermans. I got my latest Dober-girl as a puppy, and she has been a challenge to say the least. Bill helped my dog and me get a whole new (read: enjoyable) relationship with ONE session. We had a fantastic experience with Bill at Whited! Our puppy is the most well mannered puppy we've ever owned, and you can see the time and love that Bill puts into all of his dogs. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and just all around pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to any questions, and even helped us on a Sunday evening by taping up our 13 week old's Doberman's ears. He walked us through step by step and gave us advice on how to keep our pup going strong. I can not say enough about Bill and Sam Whited.....I purchased a dog from them nearly a year ago. As a first time dog owner I was very careful about who I chose to purchase a dog from. To say that I asked around would be a massive understatement. After speaking with numerous people and having Bill Whited's name come back over and over I decided to go with them! Best decision I could have made. As a first time dog owner, I was annoying Bill constantly with every question under the sun for those first six months. I would start every conversation with "I'm so sorry to bother you but....." Bill and Sam's responses were always the same, they always reassured me that they were happy to help and they did. They stand behind their dogs 100% and they aren't "breeders" they are animal lovers. I have stopped at their business at least 15 times over the last year (most of the time unannounced) the kennels are ALWAYS meticulously clean and their dogs are not just beautiful but loved. My children are the most important part of my life (as with nearly all parents) purchasing a large dog with small children is a risky endeavor, if a dog has been poorly socialized, cared for, neglected or abused there is a huge potential for the dog to be aggressive. Watching the Whited's little girl love up on all the dogs, as they followed her around like the Pied Piper was so reassuring. They are so knowledgeable about dogs and are so loving towards their animals. I am overjoyed with my dog and have referred so many people to them. They bend over backwards to help and support their clients. I can't say enough about them but I am so grateful that I chose them and when I get another dog I wouldn't consider anywhere else. The only negative thing I can say is that I HATE going to their business because I want to leave with another dog every time. I however can only handle one puppy at a time. I have purchased 3 Dogs, 2 Dobermans and a Rottweiler From Bill Whited since 2004. They have been the best dogs I ever owned. Recently Bill took care of me and worked a miracle for me for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. He helped make her the happiest little girl in the world, and helped me give her the best Christmas gift I could have possibly given her!!! Our new female Dobie pup has already shown how high quality his animals are and instantly became a member of our family pack!!! Purchased a puppy for $1500.00 who was sick, malnourished, weak and in the 1 week we had the puppy it went to the vets 4 times for fluids. Bill convinced us to return her for an even exchange from an outside breeding he had done - we exchanged then found out that that puppy was selling for $800 - we asked for a price difference refund was originally told Yes then 1 day later we were told no because he had bought all of the puppies from the outside breeding and was asking $2000-$2500 for them so he wasn't going to refund us the difference. very disappointing as we were planning on going to training with him. read more
