This is a 2 star review for multiple reasons. 1st, this is the most expensive stuffed animal you will ever purchase and the customers paying this extravagant amount of money do so because the pet they are "cloning" was very special. I was horrified when mine arrived smashed and looking used because it was shipped in a cheap plastic bag. There are numerous ways to ship using recyclable materials that would reflect CARE that this customer spent a ton of money and should be a joy to open. I would have been livid if this had been sent as a gift. For the almost $400 spent, I expected it to arrive packaged with care. The packaging was only my 1st disappointment, after I took the smashed clone out of the bag I was BEYOND disappointed that my beautiful tan and black Yorkie had been made the reddish color of an Irish Setter! Customer service offered to re-do her color with a delivery date of 4-5 weeks. I paid over $125 for rush and they got the color wrong. I expected a far more responsive customer service than an estimated 4-5 weeks to fix their error. Not acceptable. Cuddle Clones should step up the service and ship these in packaging that reflects a special purchase and if they simply sent a photo of each finished product PRIOR to shipping, or even offered a selection of colors of fur to be used they could save so much disappointment. read more

Cuddle Clones - Bella was my beloved tan and black Yorkie. The Cuddle Clone would be wonderful except it arrived the color of an Irish Setter! - Pet Stores Near Me - Akron, Ohio

The worst experience ever!!! Our precious Lily was attacked and "murdered" by a roaming pit bull while we vacationed in Florida in December, 2020. I was walking her and she was on her leash. I attempted to save her to no avail. A granddaughter ordered a Cuddle Clone for me, to memorialize her. It arrived on January 22, 2021. I was horrified when I saw what was in the package. The company received about 20 pictures of Lily to produce a lifelike replica. They were not even close as you can see in the pictures I've posted. The first picture is my baby girl, the second one is what they sent to me! Not only does it not look anything like Lily, it is beyond scary and doesn't even look similar to a Yorkie! Now for their 100% satisfaction guaranty.... you can get your money back BUT they deduct shipping and any rush fees you may have paid! Is that a 100% guarantee? Or they will redo it for you with return to you in 3 - 4 weeks! And..... if you are still not happy with the finished product .... too bad! It is yours!! Again I ask ... is that a 100% guarantee? This product is $249.00‼ Since this was a gift, I opted for the remake. After 6 weeks I questioned where my item was! After 7 weeks, 8 weeks and 9 weeks, with no answers from this horrible company I questioned again! I finally received the package at almost 10 weeks! That finished product is the third picture I've included. Now it is looking a little bit like a Yorkie but nothing like my Lily! I question the pictures they show in their ads that look just like the dog they are pictured with. You also can't speak to anyone... you get emails from what I believe is a computer and not a real person. My computer contact was "Elif". Interesting name. My advice is "BUYER BEWARE"! This company is horrible, their customer service is horrible, and their product leaves much to be desired! DON'T DO IT! read more

What a joke!!! I'm not sure where they get the pictures of their products that actually look like the pet but what I received is NOTHING like my dog. I sent in several high quality pictures only to find out they actually do not look at them during the quality inspection. This has been verified by Jessica. This beyond disappointing. The excessive wait times as well as top dollar demanded is terrible. I do not mind paying top dollar for high quality American made products however, I have seen better imports with a customer service team that actually cares about their clients. Cuddleclones will soon be out of business. read more

I had Recently lost my precious Lola (my dog) of 18 years. She meant everything to me. I searched online to find any info about dealing with the lost of your pet. I came across a suggestion about having a stuff animal made for you that resembles your pet. So after investigating the companies that do this I decided to go with "Cuddle Clones". After sending some pictures of my dog & letting them know that she had passed away they sent me an email that was very sweet & caring. Even during the process of them designing her they asked for more pictures so they can be more detailed. They always kept me up to date with the process of Lola. It took about 5-6 weeks i believe to get her & when I opened the package i was overcome with emotions. She looked almost exactly like her. I have had her for about a week now & what they did for me & my family has helped tremendously with the pain & grief we have felt without her. I highly recommend anyone that has lost a pet to get a stuff one that resembles your pet & get it from "Cuddle Clones". They are by far the best! Also part of your money goes to help feed & shelter animals. They will always be a special part of our family. Words are not enough to Thank you "Cuddle Clones" read more

We ordered a Cuddle Clone for are English Bulldog who recently passed. After sending in all the information and pictures we get and text message saying the designer has a few questions please check your account or email to answer them. We have nothing in the account and no email's. So over the next several days I keep getting the same text message . I have sent three e-mail's to customer service trying to get an answer and not one of them have responded back. I finally sent another one asking for a full refund and still have heard nothing. Going give it a couple more days before I file a report with the BBB. They took my money right away that is about all I can say they have done quickly. read more

My wife's most loved first female Boxer we ever had past away about 18 months ago. I had cuddle clones make a stuffy of her for My wife's 20th anniversary. After our Sweet Baby Girl Nala passed away we were devastated. No one took it harder than my wife. Nala was her baby. My granddaughter told me that she had seen an amazing company on line that created life like images of animals. "Cuddle Clones". We reviewed the site together and decided to get a Cuddle Clone of Nala for my wife. The staff ensured that they understood exactly what we wanted. When we received our little Nala (Cuddle Clone) my wife loved her. While nothing can bring our baby back, we now have another great reminder of our Chorkie. My clone is remarkably close - in appearance - to Molly, our Maltese who left us last summer. Her size, color, nose, eyes, facial structure and physique are almost identical to the photos and specifications I provided. The "fur" isn't hair, so expect that it's what you would find on a plush toy, because that's what you're purchasing. In my case, her neck was a little larger than I'd indicated and Molly's collar barely fit, but other than that, she's very realistic. I still get taken aback when I walk into the room and see her lying in Molly's bed. I've actually caught myself ready to talk to her! read more

Looks just like my Cooper that passed away last year. The turnaround on ordering and providing pictures to shipment was reasonable. I only have two critiques. For the price that we pay, the eyes need to look more realistic and the fur needs to be softer. read more

I was asked to review Cuddle Clones and I do do with great thanks. We lost our oldest boy Murphy 7 months ago and we are still trying to keep it together for our other beloved kids. Murphy was a mutt from a local shelter we adopted when we moved upstate New York. We had just married in December 2005, and moved up here in 2006, the year we adopted Murphy at 3 months old. He was The Boss from the beginning lol. He was also our "son" for all our married life. He was near 18. Born on the 4th of July, per the shelter. We are still desolate even though we have our other beloved kids. I saw an add for Cuddle Clones & ordered one. I sent in so many photos of Murphy and the likeness is comforting and heartbreaking. I just ordered a pillow too with Murphy's face. read more

I always wanted to clone an A-hai, but after watching Pet Cemetery, I gave up on that idea. When I heard of custom made plush, I knew it's exact what I was looking for. But I was also worry I will be disappointed. After checking their photo gallery under the breed: Siberian Husky: http://www.cuddleclones.com/photo_gallery.html?breed=151 I know they are quite experienced with huskies and capture the cuteness of huskies. (but huskies are cute to start with though) The process to order your cuddle clone online: 1. Name of the pet and breed. 2. Weight: I wanted my A-Hai clone a little bigger so I added 10 lbs to his weight:P, my A-hai clone is 25" long from nose to tail and 17" tall from paw to ear. 3. Upload pictures: Main picture, face, tail, back, left side, right side, belly/chest 4. Choose position: Standing, sitting, lying 5. Choose Ear : right /left (up, half or floppy) 6. Eye color: Left/ right 7. Tail: Up, half, down and cropped/none 8, Mouth: Closed (no tongue); closed (w/ tongue); open (w/ tongue) add any distinguishing characteristics they also can do * Missing limbs/ Missing eyes * Tilted heads/inquisitive look * Scars * Toenails * Spotted tongues * Teeth Finally I placed my order online on Christmas Day, the estimated delivery date was set to March. During late January, I changed my mind from "open w/ tongue" to "closed w/ tongue".I sent them email and they replied me my order had been updated. I waited and waited and had to email them to ask when will I receive my Cuddle Clone end of March. The nicely told me A-Hai is on the schedule for completion around early to mid-April. Finally online status indicated: While we are not able to give you an exact date that you will receive your Cuddle Clone, we can tell you that there are 65 orders ahead of A-Hai. 65 turned to 46.... and finally my door bell ring...I opened the box with anxious... This was my A-hai clone, we named him A-hai Jr. They did an incredible job to capture the special mark on the forehead. The pointy ears, the almond shaped eyes the always looked at me, the furry white socks (paws) and his raccoon tail. His fur is so soft but in the perfect layer and length so looks like if he will shed. Just he has a more puppy look. Thank you Cuddle Clones, my baby A-Hai is now home and we will never apart. My precious baby...:) Tip: Sign up for their email, they sometimes have promotion. Clone 2 get $50 off. (Maybe I should get a twin!!!) read more

After a friend of mine showed me her cute cuddle clone of her cat and of her dad's dog, I ended up deciding to try Cuddle Clone to make a clone of Cocker Spaniel & Papillion Terrier Mix dogs. I originally started the process back in the end of February. I created an account and uploaded the specific photos that was asked for me to provide (photos of the belly, tail, etc). I received a message from a representative that my cuddle clone should be ready in April. By a month later, I was really surprised to see a photo of my dogs (you need to approve the cuddle clone prior to it being shipped out to you). They looked nothing like my dogs and felt like this company just put whatever kind of dog together for me. I was not thinking positive of this company initially from that. But after a very long process with back and forth communication with the representative (plenty of modification requests and had to provide more photos), eventually my cuddle clones were ready to be mailed to me (the whole process took a little more than 5 months but I greatly appreciate the company willing to graciously work with me and change things to try to get each cuddle clone to look like my dogs). When I came home from work one day, I had a large cuddle clone package waiting for me. I was surprised that the 2 cuddle clones were larger than I was expecting (I honestly thought they would be smaller and find it funny that one of the cuddle clones is bigger than my girl dog, lol). To be honest, these cuddle clones don't look exactly like my dogs, but does have a good resemblance. And being that my Cocker Spaniel had just recently passed away just days after I started the process (Feb 28 was his last day on earth), my cuddle clone of him means even more to me now. And like a little child, I do hug that cuddle clone and smile when I see it and am reminded of my little guy. Although these cuddle clones are not cheap ($250 prior to tax and shipping, but often times they do run specials to get one made at $199, prior to tax and shipping), I don't regret having them being made. My husband tries to scare our other dog with her cuddle clone equivalent though, lol. By the way, to help you save 10%, try using the code "welcome10" (hope it still works if you choose to use it). read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I placed my order on December 1 with plenty of time to make it for Christmas, their deadline for Christmas was later in the month. Not only was it not delivered by Christmas, it wasn't shipped until January 3. we ordered it to the location we would be for Christmas and are no longer there so we are not able to get the pajamas. I am currently dealing with customer service and they keep referring me to the Postal Service. However, the shipping label was not created until January 3 and it is not the fault of the post office. Thanks for the missing gift and no refund for the extreme delay. I will never order from this company again. read more

Our heart broke when our Ginger had to cross the rainbow bridge. My 3 year old was having a really difficult time with it so we ordered from Cuddle Clones to help with the loss in our hearts. We received the clone and my daughter was so happy. She wanted me to "tell Ginger to walk" but I had to explain that she isn't magic. I do feel that the clone is very similar in appearance and they did pay attention to my little notes of details. However, the eyes are a little lopsided and the head is a little more square than Gingers was (golden retriever). She also doesn't sit up very well as if the wires are already giving out. I didn't receive any email that my order was cancelled or a refund from the company. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. First, you can call a phone number, but it just tells you to email or chat with someone online... My friend lost her animal suddenly, and I ordered a canvas for her on AUGUST 24th. I still haven't received the order (It's Oct 13th). I've reached out multiple times to see what is happening with my order. They canceled my shipment because we moved, and then didn't tell us that they canceled the shipment. I updated the address before they shipped the original one. I had to reach out to them via CHAT, and they had to remake the canvas (2 weeks to make). I still haven't received it yet! I reached out again today. to check on my order, and they told me they had to remake my canvas again. I'm requesting a refund ASAP, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

Updating my review here. They did finally get back to me and followed up to provide a tracking number for my order that has seemingly now shipped. I cannot say enough bad things about this company. I ordered a personalized face mask with my dog's photo on it. It took forever to arrive, and when I finally received it, it had the Cuddle Clones logo in the lower left corner. I did not pay $20 to wear this awful company's logo on my face, and I will never wear this mask. The item on the Cuddle Clones website shows the masks without a logo, and nowhere on the site does it state that a logo will be added. I emailed the company and asked for a replacement mask without the logo or a refund. This is the response I received back from them, verbatim: "We have started adding our Cuddle Clones logo to our face masks. After reviewing your case, we are sorry to inform you that we are unable to issue a refund or replacement." I'm sorry, WHAT?!? You better believe I will dispute this charge on my credit card. My heart dog, Roxy, passed away unexpectedly; needless to say, I was devastated. My son saw Cuddle Clones and told me about it. The process was so simple. I sent in a bunch of photos of Roxy (more than was requested as I wanted them to capture her spirit/essence/soul). The process did take about 48 days from order to delivery which felt like forever to me as I was grieving, but when I got Roxy-2, it was like Roxy was still there. My cuddle clone looks just like Roxy down to her smile, her head tilt, her ears, her tail.....everything was just like Roxy. I love Roxy-2 and while clearly a cuddle clone is not a replacement, I feel like Roxy's spirit is with me. I would recommend a cuddle clone to everyone as what they created is both precious & so well loved by me.
