absolutely incredibly product!!!!!!! I understand that the pet products are custome made. I can envision everyone I know wanting to order something, because the end product is incredible. However, I would warn them of the lengthy process. Perhaps you need a few more hires in the custom design area plus another IT person who can make the order status page useful. That could eliminate the need for a couple of customer service people having to go through the inbox and sending people updates about their order status. if that's the lengthiest piece of the puzzle, transfer them to the design area to learn from the talented veterans. I ordered on Feb 2 and received my order on March 27. I checked the status probably every 2-3 days during those 8 weeks. Every single time I checked, the status said "processing". Imagine if Amazon only had a single status option. If 8 weeks is a standard average timing, let us know that on the site up front Before we complete our order! read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. I lost my dog January 6th and ordered one of these a couple days later so that I could hold him again. I sent in tons of pictures and even filled up all of the extra slots. It looked nothing like my pet and they didn't even use the eye color I chose. I was devastated when I opened the package. I had the option to return with a list of things to fix which idk how to even go about a list it needed completely redone or get a refund. I was going to get it repaired and I started reading reviews about how they sent for repairs and they sent back the same thing and now they have no more options. Basically sorry we are keeping your money. So I sadly decided that I will return it and try to find somewhere else that can make one even if I have to pay more. I paid 300 though and the worst part is I don't even get all my money back. They are going to take shipping fees plus I had to pay 50 to ship back. They should send me my full refund plus reimbursement for my shipping. I wanted this more than any memorial item I ordered. Why should I lose money because they carelessly made my clone look nothing like my dog. I wouldn't have wanted to return if you did a good job. I think they bank on making money off people somehow and don't even care about what kind of product they send out now. I waited 3 months to hold my pet again only to open the package to see a dog I didn't know. read more

My Cuddle Clone has made my heartbreak bearable. My Cuddle Clones experience was terrific from start to finish. Customer service was so helpful when I encountered a little difficulty at the outset, and my service rep then shepherded me through the whole process. The website updated me on the making of my cuddle baby every step of the way. Most significant was the final product! My cuddle baby was an exact duplicate of my precious dog! I gasped when I opened the package. I can't tell you how much having this clone has eased my grieving process. I take such comfort in it. I was hesitant, at first, but it was absolutely the right thing for me. I am so grateful to have this replica of my boy. It's important to note that, when I researched having a replica made, my AI app listed three companies and provided a chart comparing each. Although Cuddle Clones was the priciest, the AI app thought it would meet my needs the best, and AI was right! read more

Cuddle Clones Lied About My Order--Still No Shipment! I am extremely disappointed with Cuddle Clones--not just because of the shipping delays, but because of the outright misinformation I have received. On February 2, 2025, I placed an order with the four-week rush creation option to help comfort my grieving cat. On February 28, I was told my order was being sent to Akron for final checks and that I would receive tracking information in a few days. When that didn't happen, I reached out on March 7, and Manuela responded that my order was "on its way" with a USPS tracking number. However, that tracking number only shows that a shipping label was created in Jamaica, NY, and the package is still in Pre-Shipment status--which means it hasn't actually been shipped. Now, in response to my complaint, Cuddle Clones is claiming that everything is "proceeding as expected" and that their tracking system is functioning normally. This is false. If my order was "on its way" on March 7, why is it still stuck in Pre-Shipment with no movement in "Jamaica New Jersey" when it was supposed to be in Akron Ohio? The truth is, I have received conflicting information at every step, and instead of addressing the issue, they are doubling down with excuses and false assurances. I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order, because this entire experience has been misleading and frustrating. This wasn't just a random purchase--this was meant to bring comfort to a pet experiencing grief, and instead, I've been strung along with contradictory updates and no clear resolution. Cuddle Clones, if you actually value your customers, stop with the canned responses and start telling the truth. When will my order actually ship? Why was I told conflicting information? I expect answers, not empty reassurances. read more

The absolute worst. They charge extra for guaranteed delivery by Christmas. Then the product arrives late and they refuse to take a return. Unreal. Do not buy from them. They are dishonest and do not jk or their return policy. Avoid. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Placed $167 order #CC-693452 on 12/9 with rush processing and expedited shipping for pajamas, which was guaranteed by Christmas. It is now 12/28 and I have not heard from the company at all, despite multiple repeated attempts to contact via email. They are still active on Instagram though, but will not return any emails for shipping updates. Really scummy and deceptive sales and business practices with clear violations of consumer protection laws. Please spread the word! read more

Cuddle Clones - Paid $40 for rush processing and expedited delivery - Pet Stores Near Me - Akron, Ohio

sadly our experience with this company was terrible. everything from shipping delays (i paid for rush shipping), inaccurate order processing and their refusal to make right on their mistake. we spent a lot of money with them and received the wrong pets on the wrong products and they are saying it wasn't their error when in fact it is totally their error. the check out card has a picture of a random pet and says "your order will have your pet" so there's no checks and balance at check. Alexis is the service rep that was emailing me and trying to be nice but still not making good on their errors. I should have known better but a friend recommended them. SMH!! read more

She's beautiful!! Thank you! I sent in LOTS of close-up face pics and the things that I was concerned might not turn out like they should, I sent extra pics (her tail and eyes) with comments about them. I told them she was a mixed breed and had features of both dogs. They NAILED it! This was ordered for me but I'm thinking my son may need it more than me. He can't stop comparing pictures with the Clone. The tag!!! My babies name is on the tag! What an awesome surprise!! I miss my baby but this is as close as I could possibly get. I have had her for a few days now and walking into the house and seeing her!!!!!  I seriously have to STOP myself from doing the normal greeting that her and I had. I wanted to take her to my friends to show her but had errands to run. I didn't take her because I really thought someone would bust the window to get her out of a hot car, live in South Carolina. She's that AMAZING!! Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart and my family's. (FYI - I copied and pasted this review from my original review on the Cuddle Clones website than added a few things since receiving her) read more

Do not use this company if you expect to receive your order within the timeframe they give you. I've had a horrible time with getting my order. It's been 4 weeks and it's still not here. Because this is an AI run e-commerce site, you can't actually speak to a person and responses take at least 2 days to receive. Choose another option for your pet gift needs because all you get from this one is a hassle and horrible customer service from an AI chat bot. read more

As reflected elsewhere throughout these reviews and complaints, I would not recommend ordering any product from this company. I placed an order for a hoodie with an image of our sweet golden retriever on December 1, 2025. This was intended to be a Christmas gift for my son. When checking out, I elected to pay an additional "rush" fee of $10.00 to ensure delivery by December 25th. This was in addition to the addition to the exorbitant $90.00 purchase price, plus $14.00 shipping fee, I paid an additional $10.00 "rush" fee to receive my order by Christmas. My total with tax was $122.24. On December 18, having still not received my order, I contacted customer service and was advised on the same day that the item had been produced and was with the fulfillment team and "we're doing everything we can to expedite shipments." On December 22, my order still had not shipped and I contacted customer service again and was advised that hoodies were experiencing a delay in production. This was contrary to the December 18th email that advised my order had been produced and was awaiting shipment. The order finally arrived on January 6, 2026 and I was disappointed with the result. The embroidered image is oddly shaped and the colors are very muted. I would also note that when ordering the item, the website did not offer the opportunity to review and approve the cropping of the photo uploaded. This is definitely not a $100 item. I then contacted Cuddle Clones reporting my disappointment in both the service and quality of product received and requested a refund. Cuddle Clones responded requesting a photograph of the product, which I quickly sent. I then received a second request for another better-quality photograph. Upon review, the photo I submitted was perfectly adequate and is attached here. Rather than continue to waste more time dealing with this company, I've elected to use my time to warn other customers not to do business with this company. I would strongly recommend seeking another vendor for production of this kind of personalized product. read more

Horrible customer service. The worst there is. I thought this would be a nice gift for my wife for Christmas and I paid extra to ensure delivery in time. I even was assured by one of their customer service reps that it would arrive by Christmas or they would refund me. But here we are a week after Christmas and my product hasn't even shipped yet! And now they are saying too bad and that their customer service rep had no right to offer anything. Don't trust a word they say, but do expect them to take all your money and refuse to refund it. read more

Stay away from Cuddle Clones. I canceled an order with Cuddle Clones on December 8, 2024, 4 minutes after placing the order by mistake. This cancellation was ignored. Now they have charged me for something I did not want. And I was charged for expedited shipping for an item that I did not want and has still not arrived. I wrote multiple times to their customer service canceling the order. It was ignored. This is an awful way to do business. I have posted my displeasure on Yelp and I plan to post my displeasure on any public website where this company is evaluated. Do not do business with this company. December 31, 2024: Now there is a response from Cuddle Clones posted below. They have my email address and my phone number. I have written to Cuddle Clones multiple times asking for this order to be canceled. Your response is window dressing for this website. You have ignored my multiple messages. Now, an item I did not want, arrived at my house on December 30th. Also, I was charged an additional $19.85 for expedited shipping for an order that was sent after Christmas. Everything about this transaction screams: Do not do business with this company. read more

I came across cuddle clones and I thought it was great idea. It sounded so wonderful. I took pictures of every part of him. And he was a purebred golden retriever. Unfortunately the golden retriever they had as their base model was/ is very odd looking, but I thought it just needed his features added in and it would be fine. But no. The package I received has a stiff "golden retriever "and it didn't stand and without falling over. It did not does it. It did not The only bendable part was its feet. IT LOOKED NOTHING LIKE A GOLDEN RETRIEVER! AND IT LOOKED ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE MY DOG. And the return and or adjust policy absolutely baloney. You can do one of two things first you can send it back and have them adjust it, but you can only do that once on their time.( even though it says happiness guaranteed). Secondly, you can just send it back and say no refund your money. They sent me back the exact same dog after I sent it back with changes. They don't know what they're doing. Don't get your hopes up unfortunately unless your dog is the exact model of the dog. Good luck. read more

They portray themselves as a US company but all of their products are produced in China. The promises they make for delivery are at best misguided more likely deceptive. Two orders that were made in early December, with extra fees for Rush Production and Rush Delivery are still not at either of the shipping addresses I provided (today is December 26th). When dealing with their "customer service" the answers I get back are always at midnight or 1:00 in the morning meaning they're not on this side of the planet, which also tells me that this company is basically a marketing company they have nothing to do with production or delivery. So I had disappointed people including myself for the holidays and now orders are still saying they're in production! I would never recommend them and obviously will never make the same mistake. read more

I paid a rush fee that specifically said it would arrive by Christmas AND I was charged shipping when it clearly had a banner for free shipping- I chatted with them and they assured me I'd be refunded the $19 shipping. So this business has really impressed me, they made some wonderful clones of my pets and even offer to alter them if you don't love how they turn out. I got a cuddle clone for my boss after they lost their pet and even though the team at cuddle cloens did a beautiful job on it, my boss just felt like it wasn't for them. They personally felt a little too sad to have their clone around the house and wanted to return it. cuddle clones return policy seems too good to be true for a custom product but it was just that easy. I emailed them within 30 days of receiving the clone and they returned the full profit to my original payment method. They said they felt bad we weren't satisfied and even let us keep the cuddle clone after giving us out money back. They just really care about people and the pet you've lost. would definitely recommend them and have loved my personal cuddle clones even though it wasn't right for my boss. I placed an order weeks before Christmas and I still do not have my product. I ask for tracking and I get invalid DHL numbers and a redirect link stating USPS might have it. I have not gotten my expensive order and I do not even care that it didn't make it for Christmas like promised! I just want to know where my order is! It's been a month! I will not order again. So this is a local company, I also live in Akron. No phone number to reach them at, the 800 number simply tells you to email them or use the chat, which by the way does not exist. They bombard you with endless emails to purchase add ons and additional stuff but are lacking when it comes to the actual order. I got a "receipt" stating my order could be tracked on the 16th of Dec, as of the 22nd of Dec it still says waiting for label to be generated. This is the worst company to deal with. It was a christmas gift - i spent close to $500 to get expedited help and shipping and the product was not near the likeness of my dog. i sent in the adjustments, still waiting on a revised photo and after 2 weeks they send the same exact photo back. They don't have a customer service number to call- you have to wait for them to respond to emails which takes days if not a week. Right now i am asking for a full refund! don't waste your money read more

I recently received my order and they did an awesome job. I can't get over how it is definitely a twin of my cat that passed away a year ago. They even got his colors right and the shape of his eyes which were diamond shaped. The fur on my cuddle clone was just as soft as his fur. It felt just like the way he was! Everyone I showed it to thought I taxidermy it! It freaked my husband out and my dogs thought it was him. They were jumping up and down trying to get his tail like they used to do. Wish i could put zero stars. I don't think I will make another purchase. The carelessness on my $350 clone was a mess. My cuddle clone was shoved into a bag then shoved into another. I picked it up to bring to him and said "you might have meant well, but Simon is gone and some stiff stuffed fake animal is MOROSE -- GET RID OF IT!! Firstly, this product costs a lot of money. I ordered one after my cat passed away. I was away for travel due to work for over a month. The cuddle clone was delivered during the time I was away. Once I returned home I opened the package and the product was bad. It looked nothing like my cat. I'm sorry to say it but it was very much a deformed and kind of creepy stuffed animal. Customer service would not do anything about this because they have a 30-day return policy which is a bit insane for a stuffed animal that costs hundreds of dollars. I would save my money and time on this company and avoid it at all costs. I wanted something to remind me of my best buddy and I got a monster back and lost a few hundred dollars in the process.
