Today was my first time at Cucumber & Mint at West Lake Commons and they have a client for life. From the moment I stepped in, I was treated by staff like a cherished friend. The "lobby" is stunning- expertly curated, surpassing "boutique" and feeling more like a high end spa in Chicago or New York, and showcases the products used in the spa as well as other luxury gift items. Once you've checked in, you're welcomed into a true spa waiting area, a feature so often overlooked in off-resort spa venues, where you're given time to unwind before your booked experience. The lighting and ambiance is *chef's kiss* - you can sit or lounge, enjoy a snack, water, or cup of hot tea while you wait, or simply just immerse yourself in the multipoint soundscape. I forgot I was in Evans, GA. I had a lymphatic drainage massage and facial with Emily and if nothing else was as I previously described, I'd still come back just to be treated by her. She was such a doll, was thoughtful and thorough, and expertly skilled at what she does. I didn't feel rushed at any point, I felt comfortable throughout, and I didn't feel like a customer- I felt like a cherished client, which is hard to find today. Long story short: I've already booked another service with her in a few weeks. When I checked out I asked about the C&M Reserve membership, which I'd read about online. I asked several clarifying questions, all of which were answered in full by the attendant. Such an insanely good deal and I am so happy I am prioritizing myself at least once a month! One of my favorite spots in Augusta to get pampered! The staff here is wonderful and I am hooked on their great services. I have tried facials, which are divine. I have had numerous massages and all were wonderful. I also tried lash extensions which are life changing! They often do "deals" and I just can't resist myself. Jen is incredible. She gives the best facials and she is just so sweet. Ashley at the front desk is always so friendly and personable. The whole staff really is top notch. Located in the Surrey Center, it is very easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. The the decor and ambiance inside Cucumber & Mint is so cozy and charming. A must visit for the ladies of the CSRA! My only suggestion is longer weekday hours for us working women, who aren't able to sneak out before 3pm. read more

I came here because my friend recommended them. Kaylee did my balayage color and she was super nice! I showed her a picture of what I wanted (I have dark hair and I want to go ashy blonde) so she talked over the whole process with me and what all she was going to do (it takes more than one session which is what I was expecting). This is probably one of the best salon/spas I have ever been to. The staff is AMAZING. They are constantly courteous, attentive and take customer service to a whole new level. Kaylee did my hair and talk about perfection!! I'm still in awe at how she managed to blend the most perfect highlights! Been there twice and now for last time. First time, I had my worst haircut ever by Kiley--my hair was cut lopsided and she didn't get the shampoo rinsed out of my hair--had to take me back to the shampoo bowl. I now have another much better stylist elsewhere. Yesterday, I went there for a simple eyebrow and lip wax by Jessica. I wondered why that she didn't give me a mirror to see the results when she finished. Well, when I got home, I found out why-still had hair in the middle of my lip. This place is adorable but i believe the specialize in up dos only. If you are looking for hair color, i recommend not going here. It took girl like 4 hours+ to cover my gray hair and i still paid over 120$ Also, she did not even massage my scalp while shampooing my hair. I went here for a facial for my birthday and it was recommended by a friend of mine. I spoke with the esthetician about my problem areas. She recommended we do a peel to which I agreed although she didn't say how much it would cost. During the facial, it was only after I asked a question about a product, that she went into detail about what she was putting on my face and the purpose of each product. The final product placed on my face felt as if it had beads that did not dissolve. I was advised to get dressed and come out once ready. I walked through the entire salon, spoke with the esthetician, and receptionist, paid for my services and left. When I got to my car I looked in the mirror to see that none of the product was actually rubbed into my skin...I could see some beads and a white film on my face as well as my neck that was clearly visible and no one said a word.
