I went to get a facial done with Kathaly and it was nothing short of amazing! She really cared about my skin problems and skin goals. She was very detailed and amazing at her job. I left feeling so hydrated, healthy, and glowy. She was also kind enough to give me skin care advice and she even gave me a small cleanser sample to try. Not to mention she was also very thorough and detailed with her waxing as well (I loved this because it has been difficult for me to find quality waxing in the area). I've visited this spa before on two separate occasions, both being very pleasant experiences. However my visit on Saturday was not so pleasant so much so I will never return. The most shocking piece to this puzzle is to know that the rude/ unprofessional person that I experienced was the owner of this establishment ( the husband). His customer service skills really needs improvement, a couple of individuals in the group that I was with had to experience his unprofessionalism. I absolutely fell in love this place! The calm atmosphere and just the overall vibe from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. I personally have treated myself to the private zen room, double private sessions of the amethyst biomat, as well as double private sessions in the salt cave all alone and that was the most restful sleep I've ever had! Some of the best relaxation and sleep I've ever had. The dim lighting of the cave and coziness made it the perfect place for my husband and I to have our vow renewal there with an intimate ceremony with my closest family. The cute little gift shopping area is a bonus because when you leave you can take something home with yourself that reminds you of your experience there, so many health benefits from salt lamps to naturopathic healing and healing crystals. There is so much to see! I 100 percent recommend that everyone go and experience relaxation and time in the cave for the opportunity to feel like you are in a different world away from everyday life and stress. My girlfriends and I have been hearing so much about the Salt Cave/Spa, so we decided to check it out. They're always booked, but luckily there was a cancellation and we got in today. They have several packages to choose from and we tried the much talked about cave. It most definitely was a wonderful 45 min. experience. They provide recliner chairs or blankets to lay directly on salt. No shoes are allowed you can wear socks or the plastic disposable booties they provide. Lockers are available for personal items. You just lay back listen to the trickling sound of water and very light music. You will definitely be so relaxed and off to a nap The staff was very knowledgeable explaining the process. It's definitely worth trying at least once. Be sure to check out the beautiful salt lamps. read more

The dim lights, soft music, and the sound of water lulled me to sleep. I was disappointed after the 45 minutes were up and could have stayed there longer to extend my nap. In the cave you can either recline in an anti-gravity chair, reclining chair with ottoman or lay on the salt underneath a blanket and pillow. The staff was friendly. When you walk in there's a cute little gift shop to buy soaps, jewelry, and Himalayan salt gifts. They also offer a variety of services including massages. read more

Been probably a handful of times have been in the salt cave and the zen room. I haven't been routinely so can't say for sure I've seen all the benefits (respiratory, skin, etc) but it is a nice calm environment. You will want to get there before your time so you can lock away your phone, key fob, smart watch since the salt is corrosive. They have some lockers for you to put you stuff in and you hold the key while in the cave. I have only gone to the salt cave on ladies night....it's a good deal. Instead of 45 minutes you're there for 1 hr and the cost is $20. You can also add a 10 minute chair massage for $10 (it's definitely worth the addition). The cave is usually quiet and relaxing (except my first visits some of the others in the room came as pairs of friends that we're chatty and not on the whispering level). The deal with ladies night is you also get a discount on dessert at stay, tap, social and westabou. Staff are super friendly. I am looking forward to going for a massage or facial in the future. read more

Extremely relaxing! My wife and I have made it a point to try at least one new place locally a month because #1 it's fun to try new things and #2 this is our community and we want to know it better and help support it. I was skeptical of this place, this kind of thing normally isn't my style, but with the Pandemic there isn't much to do for an anniversary. So when my wife said let's do this I was all aboard. So glad we tried it, I can definitely see us coming back. We reserved the salt cave for the two of us, but you can have a larger party if you want. I was happy that the experience wasn't crazy expensive either. The room if I recall has over 2,000 lbs of salt, to include the walls and even the "gravel" on the floor. The room is beautiful and has a very "authentic" cave feel to it, with awesome salt stone carvings. They have it set up almost as if you were in a beautiful salt mine turned into a relaxing luxury, and the salt has a soft glowing light behind specifically, well placed stones, to almost give off a natural feeling that the stones were letting a little sun to glow through. The soft and serene music helps you drift off to another place as the little water fall in the corner adds the calm of nature to the over all experience. You can use the reclining seats or lay on the floor with provided blankets as the temperature isn't warm but it isn't cold. I used mine as a pillow lol. The air is lightly filled with salt almost as if you were near the ocean. As a sailor it definitely reminds me of my days on out at sea thousand sof miles away from land in all directions. It was very nice to breath the air. It opens your lungs and sinuses. According to the introduction tour it is healthy and helps people who have breathing issues of all kinds as well as people who have PTSD/anxiety...etc. to relax and breath. I can attest to both of these to a certain degree as I have sinus issues as well as some level of anxiety/hyper awareness. Honestly for me the only reason I didn't just pass out was because it was my first time there and my wife and I wanted to use this rare occasion to be completely alone to chat and plan for the future. There is also kids room, we have not tried yet as we are not sure our 5 year old is mature enough to be able to enjoy it, but we will probably try it anyway just so she can try something new also! The next thing we will have to try is the massage room, its full of massage chairs, nice music and you can even get a good foot soak/massage, all while enjoying the same salty air as the salt cave. They have some VERY cool items in the front store to purchase so you can kind set up your own nice little "mood room"...they have probably the coolest table ever seen!...id buy it, but my wife said its not within my husband's allowance hahaha. We will definitely be back for some nice relaxation time! Yall need to check it out. Its so close to alot of nice things in the Evans Town Square area. You could stop at the playground, library, food...etc. eventually the new theater will be open and I 100% picture myself going to SOL to relax and talk about an awesome play we either just saw or will see. read more

I wish, WISH I could've taken pictures inside the salt cave but now your are definitely going to have to go to experience it!! The salt cave walls look like beautiful, natural rose quartz and the ceiling has stalactite effects with mesmerizing twinkle lights that gently shift colors. The floor is completely covered in little rose quartz pebbles giving it a beach effect. In the corner of the room, there's a gorgeous fire place with warm light illuminating the stones. If that wasn't enough, there's a serene waterfall and perfectly selected peaceful music. You have three choices as to how you'd like to experience the space: a comfy chair with an ottoman, a zero gravity chair that reclines or lay down on a towel and take a journey in your mind to the beach! They had plenty of bolsters and blankets too (which are washed in between guests). At first, I started in the zero gravity chair with a blanket, then quickly transitioned to the floor. If I could describe the most ideal sleeping climate, this would be it. The air was crisp, cool and soothing. They recommended that you breathe deeply through your nose to experience the benefits of halotherapy. What is that? Well friend, that's the whole reason for going! To borrow from the brochure, "...is a dry salt therapy that utilizes a halogenerator to grind and crush 99.99% pure grade sodium chloride into micronized particles that are dispersed into a salt room...via a dry salt aerosol that works to aid respiratory concerns and skin conditions." Another cool thing about the salt is that is grows...self-sustaining environment always a plus in my book. Upon breathing in the salt cave, I felt a little tickle in my throat and some sinus drainage (all of this is normal). I felt like I was breathing in really pure air that was breaking up the pollen and ick in my body. It was so relaxing and they recommend not bringing in your cell phone because not only does everyone deserve 45 minutes screen-free but the air is corrosive to electronics (hence no pictures from me). The owners would've let me come back and take pictures after the session but another group was scheduled. With coronavirus they have taken special precautions where you use the cave alone or with up to five other people you know ($25/person for a 45 minute session). I went alone, loved it...especially with very limited opportunities to be alone nowadays. They have a Serenity Room too that is a more intimate version of the salt cave. It has comfy, massaging chairs and it's available for three people. On top of all this, they have a Kid's Room too. An adult accompanies the child into the room for their experience and it's set up like a cute beach. My daughter absolutely loved it! I look forward to trying out the sauna too...and going back to that salt cave. It's such a beautiful space and the owners are lovely, friendly and proud of their work. Michelle, one of the owners, shared with me that she's experienced allergies for such a long time and although she had surgeries to help, it only provided relief in the short-term. Enter in halotherapy...she was enamored with her results and her passion grew and grew and became...you guessed it, Sól. I highly recommend coming here, they have so much to offer in the way of relaxation and reconnecting with ourselves through the power of nature and simplicity. Oh, almost forgot! You don't have to wear "special clothes" or shave your legs! You can literally come as you are and they just ask you to put booties on over your shoes or bare feet. Decided to try this place out for Date night and liked their social distance rules. They have 4 rooms to choose from; kids, sauna, zen and salt cave. We choose the salt cave since during covid we are able to use it privately without paying extra. The room is beautiful and relaxing. We tried out all three seat options, the zero gravity was our favorite. The salt pouring in did not irritate our skin or lungs. We will be back again to try out the zen room that has a massage chair and optional foot soak. Gift shop had unique and tempting items to buy, we left with a few skin care products. read more

I am new to the area and was looking for a spa day for my birthday celebration. I have also been looking for a place to get a facial using natural ingredients (not an easy thing to find). This place was absolutely perfect. So, not to be a snob, but I moved from the DC area and spas there can be rather posh. So I have to admit, I wasn't overly impressed with the part of the facility I saw (I am used to quiet waiting rooms with bathrobes, soft music, wellness tea, cucumber water, etc.). It is nice and clean with nice little trinkets, just not what I expected. HOWEVER, I soon forgot about the claustrophobic treatment room the minute I started getting my services. I got a 30 minute stretch (should have booked an hour), a 60 minute facial and a 60 minute massage (should have booked 90 minutes). Each and every service was exceptional. I can not say enough about the quality of the services and the staff. I've had 100s of massages from all over the world and this experience ranked right up there with the best of the best. Catrina is some sort of massage Goddess! I am not exaggerating in the least. There really aren't any words that can describe her skill level. Whatever they are paying her is not nearly enough. The owners/managers were very nice and accommodating as I booked different technicians, so I stayed in the room and the technicians came to me (rather than me going from room to room). Also when they found out it was my birthday, they gave me a lovely little gift. Absolutely loved the services and I didn't even get to the salt cave yet (next time... it stays booked). I will certainly be going back lots even though it's an hour drive for me... it is more than worth it! read more

I have only tried the salt cave, so I can't speak for the spa, but it was an amazing, relaxing experience! The cave was spacious and beautiful. I loved the lights on the ceiling and the running water in the background. It does get a little cold, but there are blankets available and you can chose to lie on the floor or sit in on of the chairs. The salt on the floor goes down pretty deep, and I loved the feeling of being able to sink in and temporarily forget about my problems. Have only been once so far but am looking forward to going again and possibly trying some of the spa services. read more

I went with a friend and booked the zen room. It was a HUGE disappointment! I have better spa days at home. The massage chair was the WORST I've ever seen (the ones at malls and airports are better). It only massage a small area on lower back. The halo therapy was just a bunch of cold air being blown into the room. My friend got the foot soak (which was extra) and it didn't even have any jet or massage features. The worst part is they sell masks (COVID) but don't even wear them while interacting with customers or each other. It was a complete rip off and definitely would NOT recommend. read more

Booked what I thought was a same-day yoga session and was surprised when I got there that I had paid $50 to sit in a cold room filled with salt lamps in silence. When I told the front desk worker that it was not what I thought I had signed up for she insisted that because the owners were out of town my options were simple: sit in the salt room I was not interested in or let my money go to waste. No refunds or negotiations. I love supporting small businesses but not ones that will not support me. Less than impressed. read more

Not because the actual Salt Session itself but the customer service. The moment we walked in, we were not welcomed and felt that we were inconveniencing the staff. I was so excited when Sol Himalayan Salt Cave opened in early 2020 and couldn't wait to go. I went with my mom and sister and it was such a relaxing, amazing experience. There isn't many times when all the noise is shut off in my life and the fact that you cannot take any electronics with you makes it so easy to relax. After they reopened from being shutdown, my friend and I went. We had the room to ourselves and the experience was amazing. I have done Yoga Nidra a few times and even though I am not supposed to fall asleep I always do. I always find I breathe better after a visit to the salt spa. I am so happy we have something so cool in our neck of the woods. read more
