I was informed to bring white socks in order to walk on the salt and to wear comfortable clothing. She gave me the address and was able to reschedule my appointment once I found out that the location was a bit of a distance from my home and my work. The actual Salt Room is located in the residence of the owner. While that did not make me uncomfortable, it may be a consideration for others. The owner is a warm, delightful and knowledgeable woman who created her breathing spa after personally benefiting from salt therapy. The location is clean and well maintained. The owner was able to give me information about salt therapy and it's benefits while making no guarantees. I was shown to a small area where I was able to take off my shoes and put on my white socks. I had to leave my electronics and personal items outside of the room. Inside the salt room, there are about 6 zero gravity chairs. I was given a warm, comfortable blanket and my chair was reclined so that I was laying back comfortably. My session was very relaxing, and I may have fallen asleep. At the end of the session, the owner came in and asked me about my experience. While I was putting my shoes on and gathering my personal items, she shared some session packages that will allow you to save money on visits. There is even a senior citizen price. I enjoyed this experience, although I don't think that I will return simply due to the distance, I would need to travel from my home or work.

You go into a relaxing dimly lit room where the floor is made up entirely of himalayan rock salt, then you will relax on a zero gravity recliner and a blanket (temperature in the room is around 66 F for best absorption of the salt. They then pipe in finely ground salt for inhalation while you relax and reap the benefits. They also sell salt inhalers (YAY) and salt lamps, so I'm going to be back to buy one of each once they have them back in stock (they are very popular, so they sell out quickly). The owner is very nice and explained how she started the spa after trouble with COPD and how the salt has helped her recover from that.

The gym was clean, fully equipped with a variety of equipments and had the most amazing staff. The day I arrived Derrick gave me a tour of the gym and explained the various Black-card amenities. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful I don't recall their names. They clean the equipments and the bathrooms what appeared like daily. I went to the gym Monday through Friday and it was clean and the women's restroom and locker room smelt great everyday. I even asked if they were under new management because the whole vibe was different from what I read online before visiting.

I booked a 60-minute massage and was required to pay 50% of the cost upfront to secure my appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45 PM, and I arrived at 3:40 PM -- FIVE MINUTES EARLY. I have proof of my arrival time. Despite arriving early, I stood at an empty front desk for approximately 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. When someone finally came out, I was actually asked if I had told them I was going to be late. I was there before my appointment time. My massage did not begin until approximately 4:10 PM, meaning the appointment started roughly 25 minutes late. The massage ended promptly at 4:45 PM, and I have proof of the time I left. Based on those times, I received only approximately 35 minutes of massage time for a service I booked and paid for as a full 60-minute massage. To be very clear: I was not late. I arrived early. I did not cause this delay. Yet I was the one who lost a significant portion of the service I paid for. And unfortunately, this wasn't even the first warning. One of my girlfriends had previously gone here and specifically told me to watch the clock because she booked a 90-minute massage and only received approximately 55 minutes. I now understand exactly what she was talking about. I booked this massage because I was already in pain, and after waiting for my appointment to begin, I received significantly less than the 60 minutes I paid for and walked out STILL HURTING. I find this completely unacceptable. If you're going to require customers to pay 50% upfront, then you should have enough respect for those customers to actually provide the service they paid for. Your scheduling issues should not become the customer's loss of time and money. And before anyone tries to dispute my timeline, I have documentation showing that I arrived at 3:40 PM and documentation showing that I left at 4:45 PM. I will be submitting that proof along with this review. I cannot prove the exact moment the massage began, but I can say that it did not begin until approximately 4:10 PM, and the massage ended promptly at 4:45 PM. This was not what I paid for. I left feeling ripped off, disregarded, and still in pain. Customers should not have to arrive early, wait for an establishment to get their appointment started, and then lose a substantial amount of the service they paid for. I would absolutely NOT recommend this establishment to anyone. If you decide to go anyway, watch the clock and document everything.

At the time of our visit, they were NOT affiliated with AANR, I verified this with AANR headquarters when I called them to file a complaint with them for allowing their name to be affiliated with such a deplorable, rundown, and unhealthy place claiming to be a a "relaxing getaway and member of AANR".

I was a member for six months, never had any issues, always felt respected and comfortable as a young lady. This is one of the cleanest gym I've ever worked out in. They clearly have towels and spray bottles and everyone does such a good job of keeping everything clean and wiping everything down. Everything you can think of is here.
