Italiano in BA for sure? Small restaurant with very authentic Italian dishes. Fantastic starters polipettis my favorite (pulpo) (octopus) unfortunately It was frozen or canned.Main ossobuco to keep the Argentinian meat tradition. Súper. Good service busy place. Dessert Afigatto the best. A nice change from the typical parrilla that after a few days you need to come back to more healthy eating.

This is very very good Italian food. Small space full of locals. Love the pumpkin ravioli the most.

Definitely not the end of the world but I would love to have a bottle with me just in case

It's a warm, small Italian cantina. The staff is very kind and ready to explain the ingredients on each hand made pasta. I had an exquisite vegetarian meal, the Girandola, a mix of beetroot, spinach and goat cheese melted together. The description doesn't do justice to the experience. My husband and my son had more of traditional tomato sauce pasta. For desert we shared a dark chocolate and almond pie. Definitely a place to go if you like avoiding touristy places and would like to play as local Argentinian.

    $499 antipasto

Worth A night out! Definitely the priciest dinner I've had in BA. Great quality food, but don't be surprised when the bill comes. There was also a $60 service fee that the waiter made sure to point out was not part of the tip.

We were able to move to a table in the garden after initially settling for the inside dining area…read more The garden is nice and overlooks a small "guest only" pool. They were watering the plants on an upper level which lightly rained down on us but we laughed it off and waited for them to finish. We were under an umbrella after all. I ordered the huevos rancheros and the beau had the Caesar salad with chicken. We also added an order of the spinach croquettas which we both enjoyed. My eggs and beans were good. The fries weren't great so I left them. The beau seemed to enjoy his salad despite the chicken being a little dry. Service was a bit slow but it was a nice day and we didn't mind. We did have to eventually flag down the server for our check though. If it wasn't for the charm of the garden I'd say this place was pretty ordinary

Super cute atmosphere in the restaurant and especially if you go out to the patio seating area…read morewhich borders garden and pool areas (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/home-buenos-aires-2?select=pgUkUtx0R-w94LJeg53Lgg#Q3a2eLSRmD1hIqa93dDD6g). The g/f got the Pasta Del Dia with cherry tomatoes and rocket (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/home-buenos-aires-2?select=pgUkUtx0R-w94LJeg53Lgg#7Dr__wqp4cekJJcgwzjR5g) The pasta was cooked nicely al dents. The rest of the dish needed more seasoning. The Papas Bravas (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/home-buenos-aires-2?select=pgUkUtx0R-w94LJeg53Lgg#SPxFxAXDU1jYd2w1CNQo1Q) were also bland. The Ojo de Bife looked good coming to the table with fries and a fried egg (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/home-buenos-aires-2?select=Q3a2eLSRmD1hIqa93dDD6g#lYVHb94lbYjumxxVjW2eQQ) I ordered this Med-Rare and it came Well Done and dry (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/home-buenos-aires-2?select=Q3a2eLSRmD1hIqa93dDD6g#lRFt3iOuCNlgM_JXTGB7_w). I only ate a few bites and would have sent it back, but our server (also the bartender) never came back so I ate some fries and spaghetti. The sunnyside up egg also had a completely cooked yolk (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/home-buenos-aires-2?select=Q3a2eLSRmD1hIqa93dDD6g#AHCg0iK5zTlhn1D2AlqTng). Not sure if it's the standard way in Argentina, but it was disappointing when I was looking for something to moisten the steak.
