They are running a bait and switch scam! When I started renting at $68/mo I was told that there might be "a modest" rate increase later in the year but that they would work with me to find a promo code to offset it. They raised my rate 50% to $104/mo and then told me they could not do anything about the increase. Additionally, one month after moving in both the Cubesmart app and the entry control box at the entry door by my unit stopped working. I paid a premium to be right by that entry door. For the last 10 months I've had to use the entry door on the opposite side of the building, almost a football field away, and haul things the entire length of the building. I was promised over and over that they were working to fix it but never fixed it. Lastly there is only one single man working in the entrance office for the entire complex. 9 out of 10 times that I went to the office to inquire about the entry problem he was not there. I recommend trying other self storage companies because these problems are Cubesmart company problems, not just a single location. read more

Well, I've been a tenant for about three years and everything was fine the first year and a half it seems as though every six months there's a rate increase of $10 or more. This last one was $11.95 after I just had a rate increase of $10 lesless than a year ago.... also, the biggest issue for me is that they do not provide again. I repeat they do not provide dollies for their customers to move items from the car to the storage is a huge inconvenience convenience. They don't even have them for the customers to rent out and they don't care, when I asked about it, the guy didn't even say sorry that it wasn't available when I say none available, let me be clear. There are none on property that they have for customers.!! i'm moving out. I'm old. I have a bad knee. I can't be carrying boxes down long highways storage units for the last 20 years that I'm familiar with. Have always provided dollies. I'm going back to U-Haul. read more

I called this storage unit because I found cockroaches and maggots all over my stuff in my storage unit. And I wanted to see what needs to be done to remove them cause there's obviously a bug infestation . Cheyenne the store manager answered so rude and told me it's normal and they will not do anything about it! She had no care in the world does not care about clients concerns and how frustrated I am but proceeded to tell me I have a past due balance of 39$ before she can give me next steps to terminate lease but all my stuff is infected. Just want to say huge thank you to the management team Erin and Steven. They've been super helpful and any questions I had they'd answer them promptly. Super friendly genuine customer service it has always been a delight seeing them! While renting here I have never had any issue whatsoever. I would see them doing walks through the storage facility to make sure everything was good and I'd see them cleaning up after other renters that would just leave their trash behind without a care. This storage is bullshii the management as well my storage unit was broken into from the sliding door the theives went thru the top of the door clearly allowing entry for a skinny addict to climb through and rummage and tear up all my boxes also stealing a couple of smaller items they could only get thru the opening they created at the door.. I filed a claim with the insurance they make you get on the unit only to be denied saying no forced entry clearly the insurance company they use is bullshii also the Forced entry was thru the top of the sliding door up by the roof you idiots now im at a loss because they dont have cameras in the storage units an they allow people to live in them who can break an rummage thru units at any time of the hours read more

Great prices and so helpful! I move a lot and this is by far my favorite facility I have used so far. I reserved through Square Foot so I knew I was getting the most competitive rate. I had to change my move in date multiple times and the staff was super helpful and accommodating. When I arrived to move in the price was even less than I was quoted due to a promotion. Micheal checked me in and was so friendly and professional. He showed me a few units so I was sure to be happy with my choice and even went above and beyond to help me with my move in once we were done with the paperwork. This is a very secure facility. You provide your on lock or locks if you have two you can use them both. You get a gate code that links to your storage unit so if someone opens your unit without the code a silent alarm will go off. You can also use your own renters insurance if you don't want to purchase theirs. They also play music in the halls so it's not silent and creepy like most storage facilities tend to be. Switched to cube smart from another storage place a few miles away & from the start Kris & Michael are AMAZING.....super awesome & chatty everytime my son & I go in. But then theres Eileen & let's just say if I open the door from here on out & only see her I'm walking out, shes very B*itchy & RUDE. It isnt just me but my son (17) said the same & he NEVER complains about anything. **Also a bit annoyed that my unit price increased $7.20 a month at the 6 month after being told they hardly ever do increases, as that was my biggest complaint from the last storage facility, as the unit increased $91 over a 3 year time frame. Do not rent here. I had things stolen from my truck when I moved into my unit in January. My Unit just got broken into a week ago. Cubesmart's response was call the insurance and It sucks to be you. Nothing more. No free lock to replace the one that was cut off or maybe a months rent. Nada. Zip. Zero. Carts rarely available . Poor lighting. One cameras. This should not be a reflection on the staff that works there. It is Cubesmart being unwilling to spend money to proved adequate security. No one is there on Sunday at all. This company seems to specialize in unfair trade practice, by price gouging its long term renters. I have rented a unit at this location for over 14 years, and today I find out I have been paying over $100 monthly the last 6 months for my unit than the advertised rental price on their website. The facility manger says she can do noting about it and I need to talk to corporate, have left message have not heard back. CubeSmart increases rent on units regularly, usually every 6 months, with a notice by mail. I am filing a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General and Nevada Consumer Affairs. read more
