I find my daughter's clothes and baskets shredded with animal urine all over my shit. It's not just one bag but all through my stuff. I haven't touched this stuff in10 months, and there's no fucking way I'm going to put my shit in storage with urine everywhere and my shit shredded like bedding being made. I am very furious and I called the company and they had the nerve to tell me there are no rodents there and no animals can't get in. So magically someone pissed on my shit and shredded my daughter's things. Never again will I put my shit in storage there. So I finally talked to one of the managers Dale and he had the fucking nerve to tell me I brought mice there, I came from Hamden ridge and it has never been a mouse there. Anyone that knows me I'm not a dirty person.A fucking joke these people are fucking ridiculous. Never the fuck again. Bf called in a couple weeks in advance to reserve a storage unit to fit our studio/1bd furniture for a month. Alarm goes off when you open your unit to let other people in the building know that someone else is there. Make sure you check in to avoid any problems accessing your unit in the future. Bathroom and water fountain inside the storage facility. Storage unit comes with lock where you will have to return after your storage use ends. We were able to park our uhaul at the loading dock to make it easier to move all our stuff in the storage unit. There are a couple platform trolleys to help transport your stuff. Not many people here the day we came, so we took over all 3 available trolleys. Our customer service was great! The employee answered all our questions and made the process very smooth. We were able to focus on moving our stuff into the storage unit and get back on the road. To cancel, you have to remove your stuff a couple days before the end of the month so you don't incur next month's rent.

During that time, the credit card I had on file lapsed. I wasn't diligent in reading business emails during my recovery as my clients all knew I was incapacitated and not working. As soon as my account was more than 30 days overdue, did they call me - a 7-year customer - to let me know my account was overdue? No. Instead they put my storage account on AUCTION STATUS and then charged me $190 in fees to remove it. The local manager would not entertain my requests for fee waivers. She then accused me of yelling at her (which I did not). Is this how you treat 7-year customers? I guess when you don't give a crap about your customers. Yes. Well - they've now lost one. I strongly advise anyone considering storage needs in Hamden to avoid this company like the plague.

They want to charge me $265 to "transport" my items from their warehouse in West Haven... onto the loading dock of their warehouse in West Haven. So basically $265 to be able to get my things back and have nothing to do with them ever again.
