I already had a replacement toilet ready for the downstairs bathroom. The repair guy checked the toilet and the surrounding floor. He patched the floor to make it stable for now as he switched in the toilet I already bought. He used a mask. He kept the trash in a limited area so it was disposed of easily afterwards. The new toilet works much better than the old one. The repair guy and I went to the store and got a second toilet for downstairs. He was able to install that one too. That one works fine too.

He proactively offered to come by (same day as my initial call) for an inspection and analysis of what absolutely needed to be done. He was the ultimate professional, honest and hard working. Within a week, he had fixed everything needed and did so with his years of professionalism showing. He was personable and kind to all my family members he encountered while at the house. He also went the extra mile to make sure our water bill would be reduced as a result of all of his fixes. Lastly, he looked for every opportunity to save us money by figuring out what could be fixed vs replaced and vice versa. I highly recommend John to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, seasoned and reasonable plumber.

Two years ago we needed a new septic pump. Mascetti installed it and all seemed fine. Two years…read morelater, now, the pump failed. We texted and called Mascetti; no one got back to us. We had another septic company suggest it was a bad float (without seeing it). We paid an electrician who came out to fix the float $700 to fix a part which he thought caused the issue. A week later, the pump failed entirely. Both the septic guy and the electrician said the pump wasn't installed properly and wasn't the right type of pump to pump up a hill where our leaching fields are. Certainly, a new pump should last more than 2 years. We are now facing the cost of installing a new pump, on top of the sunk cost of $700.

In January, I experienced a flood in my home and contacted this company for help. Unfortunately,…read morethe technician who came out initially misdiagnosed the issue. As a result, the flooding continued for several more days, causing unnecessary stress and damage. I had the technician return, but the actual problem was only identified because the demo crew already working in my home pointed it out, not the plumber. Essentially, I paid a diagnostic fee for an issue they failed to correctly identify, even on the second visit. To make matters worse, I was told that the diagnostic fee would be credited toward the repair. However, when I later called to schedule the repair and request that credit, I was met with an unprofessional response.the representative said she would "think about it." This experience was frustrating from start to finish. The misdiagnosis, lack of accountability, and failure to honor what was promised reflect very poorly on this company's professionalism and reliability. I would not recommend their services.

I agreed to the quote (thats on me) without understanding the scope of the job. Trav and an intern were done with the pipe replacement in 50 minutes. The carpenter spent all of 2 1/2 hours and there were maybe $200 worth of materials between the two of them. I confronted Trav with the amount that was charged given the amount of time and materials it took to complete the job. I got some song and dance about what hypothetically could have happened but ultimately didn't. No one likes to be overcharged or taken advantage of. I can only hope the work was done properly. I won't use this plumbing company again.
