Although I no longer wish to continue doing business with this company, I feel his gesture toward rectifying the situation is commendable and note- worthy.

Two years ago we needed a new septic pump. Mascetti installed it and all seemed fine. Two years…read morelater, now, the pump failed. We texted and called Mascetti; no one got back to us. We had another septic company suggest it was a bad float (without seeing it). We paid an electrician who came out to fix the float $700 to fix a part which he thought caused the issue. A week later, the pump failed entirely. Both the septic guy and the electrician said the pump wasn't installed properly and wasn't the right type of pump to pump up a hill where our leaching fields are. Certainly, a new pump should last more than 2 years. We are now facing the cost of installing a new pump, on top of the sunk cost of $700.

In January, I experienced a flood in my home and contacted this company for help. Unfortunately,…read morethe technician who came out initially misdiagnosed the issue. As a result, the flooding continued for several more days, causing unnecessary stress and damage. I had the technician return, but the actual problem was only identified because the demo crew already working in my home pointed it out, not the plumber. Essentially, I paid a diagnostic fee for an issue they failed to correctly identify, even on the second visit. To make matters worse, I was told that the diagnostic fee would be credited toward the repair. However, when I later called to schedule the repair and request that credit, I was met with an unprofessional response.the representative said she would "think about it." This experience was frustrating from start to finish. The misdiagnosis, lack of accountability, and failure to honor what was promised reflect very poorly on this company's professionalism and reliability. I would not recommend their services.

A call to Santoro's resulted in a quick call back from Dave Santoro, who initially thought the well pump might be the problem. We initially became aware of Lenny some months ago (via Nextdoor) when we had a relatively simple…read moreplumbing issue--a clogged toilet. Simple to repair if you have the tools and the knowledge, but neither of us qualifies. Lenny often contracts with others who are right for the job, and Nate-the-Snake promptly arrived and resolved the problem in less than an hour. Our house is 100+ years old and frequently needs some TLC. Once again, two plumbing issues in the bathroom. Not critical, but concerning with regard to function. Aren't bathroom issues always concerning, especially in a one-bath home? Our man, Dave D., was at our door in about 24-48 hrs. Made an assessment, then off to source the parts, and finished the job promptly. Knowledgeable, polite.....and left nothing to be desired with his work. Granted it is limited experience with Lenny and crew, but why would we not recommend him? I suggest that you keep him in mind for your next plumbing issue. Judge for yourself and you too can recommend his services to our friends and neighbors.
