It has the same high quality products but seems very small and short in inventory compared to the REI stores I've been to elsewhere. What really blows my mind is this is in ITHACA whose signature activity is hiking AND SENECA LAKE and they have no kayaks or paddle boards or really anything related to water activities. I was absolutely shocked as I wanted to look at some of those items and there is nothing here. Dick's sporting goods in godforsaken Binghamton has more water activity items than REI. I truly hope this is a temporary issue they will rectify. Huge disappointment.

Nobody offered me any recourse. Not only that they've gone cashless which excludes people who don't have credit cards. Plus, you can only buy tickets online so there's no way around to even talk to. They have some guys wandering around a jackets that can help you process their overpriced tickets, but no booth no manager no nothing. It's icy, crappy and I'm not coming back ever. I'd rather ski somewhere else if I'm gonna pay this kind of money. If you're gonna ski a small central to Western New York mountain; keep heading west to the skiing over by Buffalo the snow but better anyway.

As a complete beginner, I was a bit of a physical hazard on the slopes - picture me sliding down the hill in sheer terror (stopped in the middle and had a panic attack), sometimes sitting (laying is more accurate) in the snow, utterly immobilized by my unwieldy penguin-like flippers. Despite my less-than-graceful attempts, I miraculously managed to avoid any serious collisions. Though I'm obviously not ready to tackle the intimidating black diamond runs (seriously scary), I genuinely enjoyed my time at Greek Peak. From the get-go, Greek Peak made a positive impression. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning snow-covered landscapes and a well-maintained facility. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient, offering help when I was stuck in between a crevice :,) Perhaps any mountain resort would do the same but it was fun and everything went smoothly!
