This place gotten worse for the money, at my weight class now they reduce my 1st donation again now to $35 and $50 for the second one, total $85, its insane, so I moved to BioPlasma, omg theres no weight class over there and I get $45 for first donation and $85 for second total $130. But i do luv the crew at at CSL, I wish they didn't do that cause a lot of us left CSL.

    Price companies pay for donations

While the staff is absolutely wonderful I did some research on how much plasma companies get per ml of plasma and it absolutely is not reflected in the compensation here- especially for returning customers. I hope they pay their staff well but I know they are making a huge markup in profit from existing customers. They use goodwill and desperation against all of us donors and I hope there is an end soon.

Far nicer than the one in Gresham-- quieter, normally not as crowded. The staff are super nice.

Meant to review this earlier- Donated plasma for the first…read moretime in Wednesday. Went into the clinic around 10am (they are walk in only). I had gone in once before to donate; however because my blood pressure was so low i had to come back and try again. At the front desk is a really nice brown haired guy; and every time i've come up to the desk or something he's been nothing but amazing and kind. the first time i came he helped me w my paperwork and was so friendly. The process went pretty fast for me because i had all my information in the computers already (the v first time i went there was a girl w glasses and short platinum hair; she was so nice and friendly). This most recent time there was a tallish man with red hair pulled back- he was super kind and helpful. He helped me through my physical and all of the other steps- brought me a snack and gatorade so that the donation would go faster as well. I'm really scared of needles (but the prick doesn't hurt). While sitting in the chair i was beginning to get panic attacks; and the guy who had put the needle in was really sweet about checking up on me (i think his name was jeremy). i was only in the chair for about 30 minutes. A girl with faded greenish hair came to help me out- when my needle came out my arm like.... exploded in a gush of blood and she was really helpful about getting me wipes for my clothes and hands.... she could tell i was super cold and shaken up; and tried her best to talk to me and lift my spirits before i left. The people who work here are absolutely the sweetest and made my time here so pleasant. They really make you forget that you're sitting in a clinic for a few hours to get stuck by a needle.

A phlebotomist makes an error on the needle stick? The DONOR is the one who is blamed and deferred. When people go back for their screenings, you can hear their conversations from the waiting room, posing a risk to the respective donor's PHI, potentially violating HIPPA. These are just some of many unprofessional episodes witnessed and experienced here. As someone who works in healthcare, I am horrified and disgusted. Unacceptable. I'm surprised they are still in business.

Donating Doesn't Have to Be Scary…read more For many people, donating blood--whether it's plasma, platelets, or red cells--can feel intimidating. A lot of that fear comes from not fully understanding the process. When you don't know what to expect, it's easy to feel uneasy. That's completely normal. The good news is that once you see how everything works step by step, the experience becomes much more manageable--and often even rewarding. --- My Experience I donate blood every eight weeks and have been doing so for just over three years. For the past two years, I've been going to the same location, and that consistency has made a big difference. From the staff to the facility itself, everything is designed to help you feel comfortable and supported. --- Step-by-Step: What to Expect 1. Check-In & Questionnaire When you arrive, the process starts with a simple check-in. You'll complete a questionnaire that ensures you're healthy and safe to donate. This step is important--it's all about protecting both you and the recipient. 2. Friendly, Supportive Staff Once you're checked in, the staff guides you through the next steps. They're not just professional--they're kind, patient, and genuinely attentive. They take time to talk with you, answer questions, and make sure you're feeling okay. You're not just another appointment to them--they treat you like a person. 3. Clean & Comfortable Environment The facility itself is clean, organized, and welcoming. Even small details--like easy parking and a calm atmosphere--help reduce stress before you even begin. 4. The Donation Process During the donation, the staff is careful and gentle. They explain what they're doing and check in with you regularly to make sure you're comfortable. If you're nervous, they'll notice--and they'll help ease that anxiety. --- They Truly Care One of the biggest things that stands out is how much the staff cares. They don't rush you. They don't dismiss your concerns. They take the time to connect, even through small conversations about your day or your life. That human connection makes a big difference. --- After Your Donation Once you're done, you're encouraged to rest for a few minutes. Many places even offer snacks and drinks, which helps you recover and gives you a moment to relax before heading out. It's a small touch, but it shows they're thinking about your well-being from start to finish. --- Final Thoughts Donating blood might seem scary at first--but when you understand the process and have a supportive team guiding you, it becomes a positive and meaningful experience. You're not just getting through something uncomfortable--you're helping save lives. And that's something to feel good about. Photos were not allowed

I've been coming here consistently for a little over a year now, and it genuinely feels like I'm stopping by to hang out with friends who just happen to take some blood from me and feed me snacks. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and what really stands out is how familiar and sincere the staff are with each other and with donors. There's clearly very little turnover, and it shows. People know your name, greet you like you're a regular, and actually seem to enjoy being there. It gives big "Cheers" vibes, but with juice boxes. I've donated whole blood many times here and platelets as well, and every experience has been smooth and comfortable. The staff are professional, have steady hands, and make the process easy and not stressful at all. Brittany and Abby are two names I remember, but honestly every single person I've interacted with has been wonderful. I've never once left thinking, "I hope I don't get that person next time." Quite the opposite. I never thought I'd describe donating blood as a fun experience, but here we are. If you're going to do something good for the world, you might as well do it somewhere that makes you feel appreciated and comfortable. Wonderful humans!
