I've been coming here consistently for a little over a year now, and it genuinely feels like I'm stopping by to hang out with friends who just happen to take some blood from me and feed me snacks. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and what really stands out is how familiar and sincere the staff are with each other and with donors. There's clearly very little turnover, and it shows. People know your name, greet you like you're a regular, and actually seem to enjoy being there. It gives big "Cheers" vibes, but with juice boxes. I've donated whole blood many times here and platelets as well, and every experience has been smooth and comfortable. The staff are professional, have steady hands, and make the process easy and not stressful at all. Brittany and Abby are two names I remember, but honestly every single person I've interacted with has been wonderful. I've never once left thinking, "I hope I don't get that person next time." Quite the opposite. I never thought I'd describe donating blood as a fun experience, but here we are. If you're going to do something good for the world, you might as well do it somewhere that makes you feel appreciated and comfortable. Wonderful humans!

The people who did the standard health check, did the draw (power red - also a first for me), and checked in on me throughout were extremely kind, thorough, helpful, and professional. The donation area's chairs were very comfortable, and the donation process was very smooth and easy. The only real downside was the surly attitude general unpleasantness of the person working the front desk. Had I been a first-time donor, I'd probably have turned around and walked away, but I'm happy that I didn't.

At the medical check, I was denied because of a small scrape on my arm. Odd, but it's their policy, so I understood. I came back today (Wednesday) at 4:30 PM. The location was busy with a mix of new and returning donors. I checked in at the front desk (the woman at station 1, on the right side) and was told I needed to go to medical first. I waited until 5:45 PM -- over an hour -- before I noticed someone who'd checked in after me get called back to medical ahead of me. When I asked staff about it, they told me I hadn't actually been added to the queue. They quickly took my back and checked my scrape (took about two minutes) and "cleared me", but then I had to redo my initial check-in and get back in line for medical again. At that point I'd already lost over an hour to what should've been a quick med check and donation. I waited another 20 minutes in line and left. What's frustrating is that this was entirely avoidable -- if they'd just added me to the queue correctly the first time, and the medical check could've happened along with my scrape check instead of me being sent to the back of the line twice.
