People here are really nice and donating experience is good but I wish they showed a little more respect to donors time. I believe they could be more efficient. Sometimes you can see them standing around talking instead of processing donors. Just a little careless in that matter I think. Maybe they're just short on staff, hence this review. Management, please address this issue as much as you can. I'm sure others as well as myself would be more willing to donate more often if it's a much quicker turn around.

Donating Doesn't Have to Be Scary…read more For many people, donating blood--whether it's plasma, platelets, or red cells--can feel intimidating. A lot of that fear comes from not fully understanding the process. When you don't know what to expect, it's easy to feel uneasy. That's completely normal. The good news is that once you see how everything works step by step, the experience becomes much more manageable--and often even rewarding. --- My Experience I donate blood every eight weeks and have been doing so for just over three years. For the past two years, I've been going to the same location, and that consistency has made a big difference. From the staff to the facility itself, everything is designed to help you feel comfortable and supported. --- Step-by-Step: What to Expect 1. Check-In & Questionnaire When you arrive, the process starts with a simple check-in. You'll complete a questionnaire that ensures you're healthy and safe to donate. This step is important--it's all about protecting both you and the recipient. 2. Friendly, Supportive Staff Once you're checked in, the staff guides you through the next steps. They're not just professional--they're kind, patient, and genuinely attentive. They take time to talk with you, answer questions, and make sure you're feeling okay. You're not just another appointment to them--they treat you like a person. 3. Clean & Comfortable Environment The facility itself is clean, organized, and welcoming. Even small details--like easy parking and a calm atmosphere--help reduce stress before you even begin. 4. The Donation Process During the donation, the staff is careful and gentle. They explain what they're doing and check in with you regularly to make sure you're comfortable. If you're nervous, they'll notice--and they'll help ease that anxiety. --- They Truly Care One of the biggest things that stands out is how much the staff cares. They don't rush you. They don't dismiss your concerns. They take the time to connect, even through small conversations about your day or your life. That human connection makes a big difference. --- After Your Donation Once you're done, you're encouraged to rest for a few minutes. Many places even offer snacks and drinks, which helps you recover and gives you a moment to relax before heading out. It's a small touch, but it shows they're thinking about your well-being from start to finish. --- Final Thoughts Donating blood might seem scary at first--but when you understand the process and have a supportive team guiding you, it becomes a positive and meaningful experience. You're not just getting through something uncomfortable--you're helping save lives. And that's something to feel good about. Photos were not allowed

I've been coming here consistently for a little over a year now, and it genuinely feels like I'm stopping by to hang out with friends who just happen to take some blood from me and feed me snacks. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and what really stands out is how familiar and sincere the staff are with each other and with donors. There's clearly very little turnover, and it shows. People know your name, greet you like you're a regular, and actually seem to enjoy being there. It gives big "Cheers" vibes, but with juice boxes. I've donated whole blood many times here and platelets as well, and every experience has been smooth and comfortable. The staff are professional, have steady hands, and make the process easy and not stressful at all. Brittany and Abby are two names I remember, but honestly every single person I've interacted with has been wonderful. I've never once left thinking, "I hope I don't get that person next time." Quite the opposite. I never thought I'd describe donating blood as a fun experience, but here we are. If you're going to do something good for the world, you might as well do it somewhere that makes you feel appreciated and comfortable. Wonderful humans!

My visit to CSL Plasma felt less like a plasma donation and more like volunteering to participate…read morein a live experiment titled: "How Long Can a Human Sit in a Chair Before Questioning Reality?" The wait time? Absolutely legendary. I arrived when the sun was up. I left when I had developed a deeper understanding of patience than any meditation retreat could ever teach. I'm pretty sure I watched the entire lifecycle of a houseplant while sitting there. Understaffed doesn't even begin to describe it. It felt like three employees were trying to run an operation built for thirty. Phones ringing, lines backing up, people waiting everywhere, and the few staff members present looked like they were moving in slow motion. Not rushed. Not hustling. Just... gliding through time at a pace that suggested they had nowhere to be for the next decade. Every step took forever. Check-in? Forever. Screening? Forever. Actually getting seated? A saga. I've seen sloths show more urgency crossing a road. The frustrating part isn't even the wait, it's that you can clearly see the bottleneck happening in real time. People stacked up. Staff casually strolling between stations. No sense of urgency. No communication about delays. Just vibes and fluorescent lighting. If you have absolutely nothing else to do for the next several hours and you enjoy watching efficiency take a personal day, this might be your spot. If there were an Olympic event for "Turning 45 Minutes Into an Existential Crisis," this place would take gold, silver, and bronze. The atmosphere? Imagine a DMV that lost its will to live, mixed with fluorescent lighting bright enough to interrogate a superhero. The chairs have the personality of unsalted rice cakes. The energy in the room felt like everyone collectively realized they forgot to move their laundry to the dryer. Customer service? Let's just say I've had more warmth from an automated "Your call is important to us" message. I wasn't greeted , I was processed. I half expected someone to stamp "Fragile: Handle With Mild Indifference" on my forehead. The worst part isn't even the wait -- it's that they know they're bad and do absolutely nothing about it. Every complaint gets the same copy-paste "Sorry you had a bad experience, we're committed to improving" response... and then nothing changes. Same long waits. Same understaffed shifts. Same slow process. At some point it stops being a mistake and starts being the standard. And the paperwork. Oh, the paperwork. I'm fairly certain I signed something that gave them naming rights to my firstborn. By page 47, I was just autographing out of muscle memory. By the end of it all, I walked out feeling like I had just completed a side quest in a video game I didn't agree to start. Would I return? Only if stranded in a desert and the only way home required donating plasma to power a spaceship. One star. And that star is for the parking lot, which at least had clear lines.

Meant to review this earlier- Donated plasma for the first…read moretime in Wednesday. Went into the clinic around 10am (they are walk in only). I had gone in once before to donate; however because my blood pressure was so low i had to come back and try again. At the front desk is a really nice brown haired guy; and every time i've come up to the desk or something he's been nothing but amazing and kind. the first time i came he helped me w my paperwork and was so friendly. The process went pretty fast for me because i had all my information in the computers already (the v first time i went there was a girl w glasses and short platinum hair; she was so nice and friendly). This most recent time there was a tallish man with red hair pulled back- he was super kind and helpful. He helped me through my physical and all of the other steps- brought me a snack and gatorade so that the donation would go faster as well. I'm really scared of needles (but the prick doesn't hurt). While sitting in the chair i was beginning to get panic attacks; and the guy who had put the needle in was really sweet about checking up on me (i think his name was jeremy). i was only in the chair for about 30 minutes. A girl with faded greenish hair came to help me out- when my needle came out my arm like.... exploded in a gush of blood and she was really helpful about getting me wipes for my clothes and hands.... she could tell i was super cold and shaken up; and tried her best to talk to me and lift my spirits before i left. The people who work here are absolutely the sweetest and made my time here so pleasant. They really make you forget that you're sitting in a clinic for a few hours to get stuck by a needle.

These are just some of many unprofessional episodes witnessed and experienced here. As someone who works in healthcare, I am horrified and disgusted. Unacceptable. I'm surprised they are still in business.

What I found is that the staff during the week is more professional and careful with what they do. I came in over the weekend one time and when having my finger poked, instead of the gal pressing around the poke for blood to come out, she scraped the part poked on finger. It extremely hurt. I did show discomfort and pulled back my hand a bit due to it hurting however she did it several times. I really appreciate the time, transparency, & willingness to explain things from the staff that works during the week. Overall I recommend this place however, I personally believe that coming in during the week vs. the weekend is a more pleasant experience.

So the only way for me to donate is to hire a babysitter before coming to donate which unfortunately isn't feasible with unknown wait times. My husband's most recent visit was an absolute disaster. The person taking his donation injured him so badly he was out of work for a day and a half and unable to lift things including his child. He has a bruise that is progressively getting worse as well. Don't go here if you can help it.
