As a first time donor-I was nervous and anxious, but Candice was AWESOME and eased my fear. She was informative and kind. THANK YOU CANDICE.

Make sure not to EVER accidentally click the wrong answer on the questionnaire at this location or…read morethe grouchy nurse you'll get sent to for questionnaire check might just have a melt down that they have to do a task assigned to them! I've donated at the Nampa location at least 30 times since I've lived in the area and have always been very good about carefully reading through all their questions on the questionnaire and making sure I select the correct answer but I have one slip up one time where I accidentally select the answer next to what would have been my answer and get sent to the nurse on duty who has the nastiest attitude about it.. I didn't catch her name but she's a little older and blonde. As I sit in her office, she rolls her eyes and rudely remarks "I'm always having to tell people to slow down answering the questions! This is the 50th time today!" I politely apologized to her explaining I must've had an off day because this normally is not an issue i have but what I really wanted to say was I'm sorry she hates her job so much. I get we all get frustrated at work from time to time but she needs to try better to keep her cool in front of donors. I'm considering switching over to CSL or Proesis. From what I've heard they have much friendlier staff.. and they're likely more efficient too. I've had several staff members who've not been able to find my veins here and that often leads to painful donations where they've spent several moments just poking around in my arms and I've waited long periods of time to be unhooked from the machine at the end of my donation while the employees have full on conversations with other donors and each other.

At this BioLife I experienced abuse from one of the tech "managers" named Kayla. I entered Biolife…read moreat 2:10 PM for my scheduled second donation. I completed the form required for the second donation and stood in line. When I was called to have my blood drawn Elaine told me there was an issue with my form. I needed to wait for a nurse. I was not given any more information other than that. She handed me a blue slip and ushered me towards the nurses office. There were only two available nurses so I ended up waiting 30 minutes to see a nurse which was fine. When I did enter the male nurse's office I was told it was an easy fix and I just needed to do a thumbprint. I exited the nurses office and re-entered the line. Elaine was working with another client so I was not called to her station. I was called to a male manager station (no issue with him). While the male manager was taking my blood and going over my forms for testing, Elaine said to the client next to me, "looks like there's an issue with your form. Let me go ahead and fix that for you." I didn't want to interrupt her while she was with her client. So, I waited until the client was not present and I turned to Elaine, I said " just a quick question really curious why I was not offered the same luxury as the client that you just served." To which she did not say a word because Kayla, jumped over my words and down my throat by saying "you needed to go to the nurse that other person did not." Kayla was not assisting that other person and did not know the information or anything that was happening. I was immediately made a target and Kayla began attacking me. Kayla was standing to the left of the mail manager that was assisting me. I turned to Kayla and said quietly "it was a simple question. I am curious this is my second donation. I would like to speak with a manager, please". To which she yelled at me and said, "I am the manager bitch." I got quiet and let the male manager finish his job with me at the desk. The male manager brought me to the end of the desk and handed me a purple number and did not say anything to me. I was unsure of what to do or where to go from this point. I walked to the purple section and just sat down. I was greeted by a very kind, elderly woman who was working doing the plasma needle placement. I had told her what was happening and she replied to me that she would 'get a supervisor'. The supervisor never came. As I am getting my plasma taken, Kayla approaches me again, while I am actively getting my plasma drawn. She begins to explain to me that the reason why I went to the nurses office to have my form changed, was due to a medication issue that she had spoken with the male nurse about. This is a violation of HIPAA and my rights as a US citizen. The tech or managers at BioLife, are not entitled to know anything about my form that I had completed that was between me and the nurse. She began to shout at me that I had hurt Elaine's feelings. To which I replied to her that I asked a "simple question" and Elaine's feelings are not my priority. My priority as a client is to know all of the information that I need in order to donate plasma correctly. There were four people present also donating plasma at the time that my plasma was being drawn, and Kayla was yelling at me. There were also two other managers behind me while she was yelling at me and they did not interject. The supervisor Bex I did not see or meet with until at the end of my appointment. She did not assist attend or help me in any way shape or form other than offering me a small $20 compensation for my next donation. She said I was unable to email anyone Higher up than her and that I would need to call the customer service HR helpline. When I said, I wanted to plead my case to the head of the office named Brian she gave me a pen and paper to write down the entirety of what it happened even though I had just donated 881 mL of plasma. There was one other person also in the office when I explained to Bex the entirety of the situation between Kayla and I. The violation of my HIPAA rights and the abuse I received from Kayla at BioLife is unacceptable and ridiculous. She has zero bedside manner and made me experience 100% stress level via my Oura ring chart from the ring I was wearing during donation, while I was under donation. She needs to be fired and she needs to be let go from her current position as a standing manager.

Lapsed donors are no longer considered new donors and do not qualify for new donor bonus…read more I will not be returning for my second donation. In today's market, I reckon 100-150 should be base pay depending on weight. New donor bonus greater still. To pay less is criminal. CSL on Cole Rd is the WORST experience in the Boise area. For decent pay, and a pleasant donation experience, lookup Proesis in Meridian.

It doesn't seem to matter. The staff are solid. Maybe they don't have enough staff in the back? The last 3 times I have tried to donate, they only have the center section open, which causes huge lines in the front and long wait times to get to the back. This process should not take 2 hours. If you are frustrated the same way I am. please feel free to try a different location. I will be going to Grifols for the foreseeable future, I recommend you all do so as well. IF YOU COME HERE EXPECT, VERY LONG WAIT TIMES. *NOT AFFILIATED WITH COMPETITORS* As soon as this changes, I will update my review!!! Update, I received a message in response to my review. Not very helpful they give you a number to call and then no extensions to anyone, and the people on the other side of the phone have no clue why I'm calling. After my son had to receive urgent treatment from the healthcare provider we switched to, we made the choice to try this urgent care service and were positively surprised with the new staff. They had strep tests on hand; something the other provider said they were out of until June. They quickly offered us professional care, ordered prescriptions and referrals while the other provider's urgent care took over an hour to be seen and after another 2 hours sent us home with our son crying & throwing up in pain and the prescription finally being sent to pharmacy the following day. In the end, if you are seeking urgent care, not emergency room care, the facility has the right to charge upfront to prevent collections in the future and worth the cost because they are the best urgent care my family & I have received in many years. By the way, they do send refunds.

This entire company is frustrating! Their billing is absolutely ridiculous. You pay $200 up front…read more They tell you if your bill is less, they will give you a refund. If it's more, then they will send you a bill, or you can pay before you leave with a discounted price. I've gone twice this year. The first, I owed more, but they couldn't decide how much I owed. Couldn't figure out the discount. Told me that they were "fried" and wanted to go home while they were figuring out what I owed. They charged me wrong and I got a bill for it. They didn't honor their mistake and I had to pay more. THEN, my husband went in for an ear infection. They did nothing special, he paid $200. Said they'd call him when the doctor put in the notes how much the visit would be. They never called. I called billing and they told me that the visit SHOULD be $144. That we'd get a refund of $56. I waited a month. I called in again and they told me the amount was actually $201 and that they were nice enough to shave off that dollar. For a 5 minute visit to prescribe antibiotics??? And the billing person had absolutely NO idea what was happening. Explained that there were no notes, but then told me that the amount was $201?? This whole place is a scam and is perfectly happy to steal your money.
