Saw my Primary Doctor on Tuesday and IMI had me worked in at 5pm for a CT of my torso on Thursday…read more Had the evaluation by 9am Friday morning. The technician was fast and professional with a sense of humor. Could not believe they got it evaluated so quickly. Getting a copy over the gynocologist/oncologist. The Gyno/Onco Doctor ordered an ultrasound and seemed kind of mmmm. Said I should see my Primary Doctor because that wasn't the problem, and he bulldogged the information and got me CT'd quickly. Definitely better imaging scans than the ultrasound.

Steer clear of Intermountain Medical Imaging, Meridian. Their business practices appear to be…read morenefarious in regard to billing, particularly in regard breast MRIs. My date of service was May 5, 2026. I offered to pay out of pocket for the sake of expediency and when I told the front desk staff that I intended to seek reimbursement for the claim, she said I waived my right to file a claim. None of this was true. Don't let them tell you this if you're seeking some kind of imaging service there. Double check with your health insurance provider before going there. Since the date of service, they have billed my insurance after being forced into it by my health insurance provider. It took 69 calendar days to get reimbursed. Billing Department is extremely difficult to get a hold of. In fact, if you must go there for something, it's best to go in person to schedule your appointment because you'll be on hold on the phone for anywhere from 10-80 minutes. It's the same duration in regard to following up with billing. The clinical staff is good and competent. The back of office and front of office staff are difficult to communicate with, likely due to differing educational backgrounds and/or lack of training in how to do their jobs. This issue was relayed to St. Alphonsus Women's Health, as all of this business started with their practitioners claiming that Idaho insurance will cover out of pocket expenses for breast MRIs. You are completely alone and on your own in dealing with all of this once you leave your doctor's office. Assume you need prior authorization from your health insurance company, and allow yourself 15-30 business days to get that from your health insurance company, who should provide it to Intermountain. Then confirm with Intermountain that they have the authorization in place. Do not rely on Intermountain Scheduling to get the authorization in a timely manner for you. Good luck to anyone who has a serious issue and needs something done fast at this clinic. You may want to consider going out of state for your imaging needs for the sake of ease and peace of mind knowing that a clinic will understand how to obtain authorizations before someone has their imaging and then knows how to submit a claim with your health insurance provider.

Don't even try to get any image done. Departments don't talk to departments. My doctor had to fax them multiple times my implant was safe for MRI, finally they cleared it but the appointment department doesn't see that the tech department cleared it. BUT no one calls back. NO one knows how to do their job. They answer the phone but tell you that they can TRY and help you but no one has. I have dozens of phone calls out to them and a quarter of them returned my calls but without help. March 15th the request was sent to them by my doctor and I still don't have an appointment. At this point, if you are reading this, I should just go to another facility.

They were excellent in every way. My dissatisfaction is with the owner of Imaging Center of Idaho who has not refunded my deposit made for the MRI that ended up not happening. The deposit was made July 30, and it's now Sept. 20 and I was told originally that it would take 2 weeks for the refund. I called again today and was given another ambiguous explanation. I'm not happy with the business practices of this facility. After going to another MRI for a successful test I was told that the practice of asking for a deposit is not standard. When and if I receive my deposit I will adjust my review.

My urologist recommended a CT scan and they sent the request to St. Lukes in Meridian…read more We have very good insurance through my wife's work with Blue Cross. The quote came back from St. Lukes for $1856.00 with insurance covering $45.00 I emailed and called St. Lukes to cancel. For that amount I could fly to France and have a CT scan done for free as I am citizen. I told all of this to Treasure Valley Urology and they recommended Telllica Imaging on Overland. It took a bit to get the appointment schedule and its because their phones are ringing off the hook - the secret is out so speak So, be patient but they will get back to you and they are working on improving the phone lines. I paid $350 upfront and was called back by Amy. She was so nice and personable. We chatted the all time. It made me feel so relaxed. The process was easy and painless. Amy was a rockstar. Explained every step along the way and made sure that I understood and was okay. I was done in about an hour maybe a little less. The results came fast. About three hours later Yes. Im good. Whew. I'll be around for more checkins and writing more reviews. I highly recommend checking out Tellica if you a). Cant deal with the bureaucracy and b). Cant afford it or your insurance doesn't cover it.

This review is specifically for Dr. Bridges. She's awesome!…read more It's so nice be listened to, heard and given the courtesy of direct and clear replies to questions. Spine surgery is a big deal. I've had two consults before where the doctors pretty much said "here's what you need" and then just expected me to do it without questions, research and serious consideration. Dr. Bridges is the opposite. She flat-out said high risk, gave me real numbers on complication rates, discussed options even if it wasn't in her wheelhouse and referred me to someone who specializes in an option I want to explore. No detectable ego which makes her more credible in my eyes. I'm well aware weight is always a factor in surgeries and since my colon resection and the unexpected consequence of the high carb post op diet, I'm all too aware of my current size. i don't sugar coat it. She doesn't sugar coat it. Need to keep this stuff real. She wasn't rude, just matter of fact. I really appreciate that. Quick digression: She told me that because I would be face-down during surgery and I've got a bigger belly than usual, that pushes all the blood up towards the spine and can make me bleed more. I hadn't even thought about that. Only airway and anesthesia. Makes sense but I never even thought of it. So, I left with an X-ray order for both hips since my recent trip to the ER it's unclear if I had severe hip pain because there's something wrong with my hip or if it's an extension of the spine problem. (duh, wonder why ER didn't do that?) Also got referral to a doctor who specializes in an option that I researched to see if it's even viable for my injury AND a referral to Salt Lake because they have more advanced equipment to handle how complicated this is and I might need to go out of town. If I have to go to Salt Lake, I wish Dr. Bridges could go too and make sure some jackass doesn't get stupid on me. I have pretty much had my fill of doctors and trust is hard to come by.

No doctors, all physicians' assistants, at the ER!Started at urgent care, but the nurse was in charge of taking the X-rays. The nurse expressed concern about being able to get the X-rays done. Okay, you're clearly not trained to do this role. Instead of focusing on saving money by having lower skilled employees doing the job, give quality care, with appropriate staff. I never would have gone to the ER if the urgent care staff was appropriately staffed, with an X Ray technician. I didn't want to have my family member endure extra pain, and additional X-rays, if the nurse couldn't correctly take the X-rays. Clearly an administrative problem. Staff was kind. I'm hoping they do the right thing and adjust the charges. Any charge should be attached to a service provided, not just you went to the ER and saw a Physician's assistant for less than 10 minutes. Ridiculous! Make it right, St. Al's.
