I was part of a weekend workshop that Dr. Gunther did for physicians throughout the U.S. interested in learning to do Botox. Dr. Gunther did Botox on me about a year before and it went great. However, this time, under the direction of Dr. Gunther, another physician administered Botox in my forehead. Within a few days, my right eye was drooping terribly. My left eye was fine. If you looked at me, my left eyebrow had a lift, where my right one didn't. Dr. Gunther tried to "fix" this problem by giving me Botox above my left eye to make my left eye droop to match my right eye. This slightly helped, but not a lot. Four weeks later, my right eye is still droopy and my really eyelid is puffy. I'm very unhappy about this. I should have been offered something other than a quick Botox "fix" to my left eye (that didn't really work). FYI, I'm recommending people to NOT be part of her workshops! read more

I'd love spark MD they are so kind and helpful, usually they can see me the same day or the next day. The office is warm and comfortable, staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. This is not your usual family's doctor's office. They have so many ways to engage with your healthcare provider. Web, phone, in person. The staff is friendly and professional. The doctors are awesome! Caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. A couple of things about this clinic model that I like. 1) You can go in with a list of items to discuss with your doctor and you can actually get to ALL of them and have a detailed discussion about each one. 2) They take the time to explain each line in your lab results and what it means. If you have health maintenance issues that need to be monitored this is the way to go. The monthly fee is affordable and it allows you to not think so much about the cost of a visit but allow you to get what you need from your doctor. I was traveling in Europe and had a health issue. I was able to email Dr. Julie and she was able to give me a few suggestions to try to resolve my issue. Otherwise I would have had to try to figure out how to get healthcare in a foreign country. Sometimes I just have a question about a medication or a vitamin I am taking. It is easy just to email the question and get an answer in a day or two. Spark MD has been great for coordinating my various health issues that require different specialists and/or treatments. I hate to give a 5 star review for selfish reasons but the staff of Spark MD deserve to do well in the marketplace because they are fine and honest people doing good for society. read more

This is it! The most incredible doctors office i have ever been to! Dr. Julie Gunther is just the most down to earth, real and caring primary doc i have ever had. I now take two of my children there and won't hesitate to sign up the other one and my husband. The staff is warm and caring, extremely hard working. There is no judgement with any of them, which is something I've had to deal with to an extreme in other places. As long as she's practicing medicine, she will be my doctor! read more

I am a person who rarely goes to doctors. Basically once a year with a sinus issue. When I first went to Julie it was wonderful. She was attentive and there for me. Then her emails went to spam (which I never caught), they had the wrong phone number for me and things went south. Finally got that snafu fixed. The next time I tried calling for an appt she was not in but her nurse practitioner was. I could either see the practitioner or get a remote diagnosis. This was not what I was paying $65/mo for. This practice has growing pains and I'm searching elsewhere for an MD. To be fair they instantly refunded me this months' fee, which is only fair I guess. read more
