Jan at NURTURING THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE is a wonderful, well trained, experienced & caring massage…read moretherapist. I began receiving medical massages from Jan while still a patient in Norwalk Hospital, following my unusual stroke in late 2011. Jan always listens. But, more importantly she feels the muscle tightness, often before I can even tell her! (My speak was not effected by my stroke!) My biggest motivator for Jan's weekly massage (4.5 years, so far) is to relax my tight muscles; but, also to bring more blood & oxygen to my weaker muscles - assisting their strengthening. So, I weekly see my physical therapist to strengthen muscles & to relax spastic areas. Then, I see Jan a few days later to re-align & relax muscles - yet also invigorate! It's been a long process, but my function continues to improve....which ultimately decreases muscle pain. Decreasing pain is a Great Motivator! Balancing muscles so they can properly co-contract is what results in smooth, pain free movement. **Setting up regular massage sessions can help improve any painful (or weak) muscles. **Call Jan, who uses various massage techniques to achieve mutual goals. Massage Works!!

Then after the service the store completely changes. Then they refuse to pick up any of your calls after the service. You also tell the person that you want your neck massaged and she does the entire body then as you ask questions she can't answer because she doesn't speak English and just laughs and says she doesn't understand. Unfortunately I was informed that no manager is available to assist me. I called yesterday and your workers hung up the phone on me which was rude then every time I called they decided to block my calls. Then you call today and when I try to call back twice you don't answer the calls Massajoyest M. I called and asked twice if that was the price because that's what the gift card mentioned it doesn't say $10 off it says $10 and then when I got there I confirmed again and the worker said yes and before your worker even started the massage she inquired 60 min or 90 min and I specifically said I have the coupon for $10 for 60 min. So instead of your workers rushing customers into a room and trying to get over they should take more time to give a accurate answer instead of lying just to get business. I'm completely dissatisfied with the service and workers and the cons for business. I also told her to focus on my neck and instead she does what she wants and violates my butt. The massage therapist clearly doesn't know what she's doing and has bruised my back and now I am at the hospital because of the soreness and pain from your massage therapist.
