My only complaint is it was very expensive for a very easy fix! Our dishwasher hose under the sink was clogged with a few rubber feet from our glass trivets. At least I learned a few things! 1. never put glass trivets with rubber feet in dishwasher. The 'food catcher' will not catch them! 2. If your dishwasher is not working as expected and is not draining, check the hose under the sink for clogs!

When I called to check in, staff were incredibly rude and blamed me for the delay. Four weeks later, a technician finally installed the parts and left without testing them. I paid another $143--bringing the total to $973--but the machine failed immediately. The technician visited a week later (for the third time) and admitted he didn't know how to fix it. Management has completely ignored my requests to speak with them. They eventually promised a refund (minus the diagnostic fee) but have provided no written confirmation or money. Totem defaulted on every promise. Save your resources and avoid them entirely.

My situation was preventative upgrades to the hookups for the dryer/washer, replacing a plastic duct with a metal one, and the rubber hoses with steel braided ones. The challenge was that the laundry closet was in a very tight space, with just barely enough space and a lip in front of the closet too (so the appliances need to be hand lifted), and they were heavy too, but this was no match for Pete. I last reviewed this company back in 2017, but I recently needed their services again (why oh why…read moredo appliances stop working when you need them most??? WHY?). My stovetop had two of its five burners stop working, and my fridge was overdue for regular maintenance. Priority is one of the manufacturers' authorized repair companies for both appliances (that alone says a lot), and I remember how professional they were when they were last here, so I called them again. Shay is the dispatcher/scheduler who was able to get me an appointment fairly quickly, and Devon was the repairman who visited. Both were fantastic. I like how this company has been around for a long time, and how they guarantee their work and parts for 90 days. I like how Devon was so polite and respectful of my place, leaving it as neat - or neater! - than how he found it. I also liked how he took the time to show me a few maintenance and trouble-shooting hacks for my stove and fridge. Nice! My one issue: this company is pricey. I trust them, so I'm okay paying the costs, but yeah, the costs are steep. One thing I've never encountered before: they charge you per appliance, not per visit or by the hour. So say, if the repairman is there to check on the stove, there's the charge for that. If he's done in 10 minutes and you want him to also check on an oven or fridge or exhaust - even if it's just a tiny issue, - they'll charge you again for that service. (Usually, in my experience, companies charge by the hour, and there's a one-hour minimum charge plus one "visit" charge. Once the guy is there, you got him for an hour and they can check as many issues as can fit in that one hour. Not this company, alas). Again, I trust Priority, and I know they back up their work, so I'm okay with this pricing, but it's important to know this going in, especially if you have multiple appliances that need to be looked at.

He had the part. He put the dishwasher on a rinse cycle and seemed satisfied with it. After he left, I though, "H'mmm, maybe I should turn it on a full cycle." It did the same thing as I called for in the first place, it said "Waterproof." He returned and said there are two things that can be wrong when the machine says "Waterproof". He checked the second thing and voila! that was the problem. It is now going to cost me an additional $900.00 on top of the $1,000 I spent for him to fix my coffee make, which took 15 minutes, and to tell me my downstairs dishwasher would require an additional $700 or so to repair. Is MIele getting so popular they make junk now? I am displeased to the max.
