He was responsive to my initial request for a quote and was very understanding when I messaged weeks later. He also gave sound advice and reassurance on preventative measures. It was all done in a span of 30 minutes, including a slight challenge. My situation was preventative upgrades to the hookups for the dryer/washer, replacing a plastic duct with a metal one, and the rubber hoses with steel braided ones. The challenge was that the laundry closet was in a very tight space, with just barely enough space and a lip in front of the closet too (so the appliances need to be hand lifted), and they were heavy too, but this was no match for Pete. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for anyone needing appliance servicing. Thanks Pete!

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the handling of a recent fire incident…read moreinvolving a stove purchased from Home Depot, and the subsequent fraudulent assessment provided by your contracted service provider, Kirpal Calgary. , the interior of the stove caught fire, requiring the use of a fire extinguisher to suppress the blaze. The appliance suffered severe, irreparable structural and electrical damage. Allstate sent a technician from Kirpal Calgary to assess the damage. This technician conducted a completely negligent review. Despite visible charring, compromised internal components, and exposed electrical wiring sticking out of the unit, the technician claimed the appliance "looks good." It was abundantly clear that his only priority was collecting his service call fee, showing an absolute disregard for safety, liability, and professional ethics. I have provided numerous photographic records and video evidence clearly demonstrating that this appliance is a total loss and a severe fire hazard. It is deeply concerning that Allstate is choosing to accept the word of a negligent third-party contractor over indisputable photographic proof.

My only complaint is it was very expensive for a very easy fix! Our dishwasher hose under the sink was clogged with a few rubber feet from our glass trivets. At least I learned a few things! 1. never put glass trivets with rubber feet in dishwasher. The 'food catcher' will not catch them! 2. If your dishwasher is not working as expected and is not draining, check the hose under the sink for clogs!

0/5- terrible work, absurd delays and no accountability- AVOID Totem!…read more After five weeks, nearly $1,000 spent, and countless hours wasted, our appliance is still completely broken. Initially, they charged a $167 diagnostic fee and a $663 parts prepayment, promising a 10-day fix. Instead, they sat on my money for over a week before ordering the parts. When I called to check in, staff were incredibly rude and blamed me for the delay. Four weeks later, a technician finally installed the parts and left without testing them. I paid another $143--bringing the total to $973--but the machine failed immediately. The technician visited a week later (for the third time) and admitted he didn't know how to fix it. Management has completely ignored my requests to speak with them. They eventually promised a refund (minus the diagnostic fee) but have provided no written confirmation or money. Totem defaulted on every promise. Save your resources and avoid them entirely.
