Sorry, but I just can't go to three stars. The tapa platter we ordered was small and not great. Not really bad, but not great. And very pricey. The albondigas were much better, but still pricey. The albondigas were three stars, maybe 3.5. The staff was professional. Not really friendly, but professional. We subsequently found better options than this. I'd walk on by if I were you.

Because I couldn't interpret the menu (all in Spanish) and it seemed expensive I chose to wander elsewhere after having a drink. Google maps pulled up La Creperie, and I love crepes, so I headed straight there (even though average reviews were a 3 star). Packed quaint, small 2-room restaurant. All (or what appeared to be) locals in groups 4-5 or couples present along with some families. Service was quick and thorough. I was able to ask for a glass of water in Spanish and they actually brought a whole pitcher! (nice! free water in Europe is rare). A large menu of crepe options (regular and sweet(dulces)). I enjoyed the Roma and it was quite filling. I liked the vibe and culture and hope to go back before I leave Madrid!

We ordered the "Prime Pasta" salad, and the "Los Pollos Hermanos" burrito. The pasta was good, though not out of this world, but the burrito was the true star of the show. Nothing like the burritos you will find in Cali, these are slim, lightly toasted (gives it a great crunch) and filled with delicious flavors that speak Mediterranean. I can't speak about the savory crêpes, but the dark chocolate and orange crêpe I had for desert was amazing (not too sweet, but also not bitter at all). Lastly, a shout out to the staff, they were all very friendly. I think this restaurant has great potential, would definitely see it as a successful chain throughout Spain. I wanted to leave some suggestions for the restaurant as well: 1. Though it is definitely smart to have this restaurant next to a university, you should consider opening up another location towards the center of Madrid 2. I'm not the biggest fan of the actual restaurant name (though I maybe don't know the story behind it, as it's not all that catchy) 3. The menus were a little beat up, and the sign of "Open / Closed" was turned the wrong way! I'm sure a lot of people didn't go in because of that, be careful!
