I had not returned to La Creperie in sometime but remember having pleasant experiences there a couple years back and decided to give it another go around. Not in the mood for anything in particular, I knew their wide variety of crepe options would suit us perfectly. The interior is not your typical French decor creperie. Instead, you'll find a classy yet comfortable dining space that has a tiny crepe station upfront that blends in with the setting to the point where you almost don't realize it is there.
The attentive waiters were ready to take our order the second we had decided. They even brought a pitcher of water which was appreciated since I am a tap water fiend when I'm out to dinner. After some deliberation, I went with the Panocha- corn, chicken and bechamel, while my date went with the Curry. Before I've also had the boloñesa and ham, cheese and egg ones. All are delicious and served quickly, but who are we kidding? The best crepes tend to be the sweetest. That's why we split a Frances after finishing our savory choices- strawberry jam, fiery Grand Mariner on top and a scoop of ice cream that melted on the spot. We finished every last bite!
The price isn't bad for what you get. All in all, I really can't complain about our experience. The food is not out of this world but definitely hits the spot for a casual night out. read more
