He doesn't return calls, and neither does Melissa. Neither of them are reachable this afternoon. I've left multiple messages and have heard nothing from them. Anytime I call, it goes straight to voicemail. Russell's phone number won't even work for me unless he turns on iMessage. This company is not at all what it used to be when I first got the equipment. I think Russell may be putting me off indefinitely so the warranty on my system runs out. This company seems to be quite shifty and the people are possibly conniving to not have to devote any additional funds or time to me as a loyal customer. It was a much better organization when Jack Ervin worked for them; but, unfortunately, he retired. This is a deplorable state of affairs they've put me in. My only recourse may be to take legal action against them.

I started my relationship with them in a friend's recommendation. I am glad I listened. I got a reverse osmosis sink faucet and was pleased with the entire process the 7 months later upgraded to the whole house system. Nothing but rave reviews about the quality, professionalism, customer service and overall great experience. Without hesitation, I can recommend this business. My next project is installing rain barrels on the down spouts on the house, and I looked no further than Russell and his team.

They showed up on time, That's The ONLY GOOD THING I CAN SAY. After the Technician showed up I told him I had changed Inlet water screen, ignitor and flame rods and had flushed the system. He called Rinnai Tech Support, checked a few things I had already pretty much ruled out and after about 1 1/2 hours, in his own words .... "Ran diagnostic on Rinnai tankless heater with Rinnai proline. Came to conclusion that burner needs replaced or pulled and cleaned" .... He proceeded to tell me it would be $230 for today's visit and he was leaving....I asked him well that's all your going to do and he replied well I could pull the burner and clean it but Rinnai stated it would be 8 hr job at $120 and hour or he could put me in a NEW tankless for $4,000..... I thought he was kidding at first but realized he wasn't and he was leaving and I had NO HOT Water and a wife that was pissed!!! We had been without hot water for days!!!!! I THOUGHT Calling a So Called Professional Plumber was what I needed to do as to not void any warranty...BIG MISTAKE.... After stewing about NO HOT water for the weekend and possibly having to find a way to get it fixed, I looked to YouTube for videos on cleaning burners on Rinnai tankless system...I found a video from a Professional Technician . https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hmD4v3lm0-8. After watching a 7 1/2 minute video on taking burner out and cleaning it had to take out the burner and clean it, BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE HOT WATER!!! It took me about an hour to take burner out, clean it, blow it out and put everything back together!! Guess what??? I have Hot Water Now because I fixed it, Not this so called Professional Company!!! I have used Keith Hodge Plumbing several times and they are always timely, organized and get the job done quickly. Once again, they didn't let me down. Spoke with the office manager, Becky, who runs a tight ship and they had two techs out the next morning. I got a call when they were on their way, as always and that's a nice courtesy. Both lead plumber Jacob Rhodes and his assistant Nathan were polite and friendly, completed all the work I needed done quickly and efficiently and were a pleasure to deal with. Before they wrapped up the job, I got a call from Becky to let me know that part of their service was to submit the required paper work to the water utility and that would be done. I just wish these folks did HVAC, electrical and general construction. All my frustration dealing with other disorganized service providers would vanish. Thanks Keith Hodge for running such a great company and hiring the best people.

But, what makes this company stand out are the three items I mentioned. I like a company that communicates with you, and this one did from the office staff verifying the appointment to the men on the job who let us know when they'd be here for the work. It is very welcome and in today's workforce, very unusual, to get a thank you but we did. We received a nice card a few days after the service thanking us for our business. We will use them again and recommend this company to anyone who is interested. The men on the job, Matt and Mitchell are good representatives for Chattanooga Plumbing.

After they started the work they informed me they don't do concrete work even though they knew ahead of time they would need to cut through my driveway to lay the new lines. No offer to have someone else come and fix it, just hey, that's what it is. Then they cut through two major drain pipes leading from my house to the street. Tried to hide the mistake by burying the trench back with dirt. Didn't attempt to fix it. Didn't bother to tell me they broke the pipes. Just hide and move on. In the process of digging the trench lines they cut thru power lines to my shed. Those lines also fed the street lamp in the backyard and pump for the pond. Again, not a word from them that they screwed up or an offer to fix it. There was a nice tree next to the pond and they specifically promised it would be okay after I informed them I wanted to keep it. Tore it down while I was gone and claimed it couldn't be helped. To top it off they didn't even haul off the tree or the large chunks of concert they cut out of the driveway. By the time they finished it was raining so hard they couldn't properly smooth out the yard leaving large mounds of dirt everywhere. Claimed they would come back and regrade the yard after weather improved. After calling (actually texting) as they don't answer the phone and their voice mailbox won't take any messages, it took me nearly 6 months to get them back out to finish the job. If they had been cheap then I would agree, you get what you paid for. But they were very expensive for the horrible service they provided. See attached photos.
